Kingdom of Aethelgard: The Siege is a fantasy kinetic visual novel made by SpicyVNs with Ren'Py, using 2D and AI-generated CG artwork. You play as Hiro, a young man who works to help Princess Sophia reclaim her throne after Malakor stages a coup. Sophia’s sealed celestial energy is tied to her purity, and elemental stones must be acquired before that power can be used. Monster themes appear, and the narrative can involve more than one protagonist.
The current version is v1.1, released on August 27, 2026, for Windows, Linux, and Mac. It is in English and uncensored. The update adds new and revised CGs and side images, includes a button for skipping H-scenes, and changes Sophia’s original outfit to be less revealing.
Developer's description
Malakor, the antagonist has successfully executed a coup to overthrow the King of Aethelgard. The story follows a young man named Hiro who takes on the adventure to help the Princess of Aethelgard, Sophia, take back her throne. But the mission does not come easily as Malakor completes his ritual to obtain the knowledge of magic. Bound to Sophia's purity, is a locked seal of celestial energy. To unlock it, the four elemental stones must be acquired and to possess what the energy has to offer, she must give her virtue to the man of her choice, or the man who is able to forcifully take it from her. Will Hiro be the one to secure her purity or will Malakor successfully captures her and make her his queen?
