"Some towns bury their secrets. Kingsville keeps them alive."
Kingsville
is an 18+ Visual Novel that balances the warmth of high school romance with the cold dread of a mystery that refuses to stay buried.
The Plot
You’ve spent your life surviving on the edge, believing you had nothing left to lose. You were wrong. A single clue has led you to Kingsville: a whisper that your mother—long thought dead—might still be breathing within these city limits.
But Kingsville is not a normal town. Beneath the elite galas and daily student life lies a web of supernatural pacts and ancient bloodlines.
In this journey, you will:
Uncover
your family's dark legacy.
Romance
a diverse cast of characters, each with their own secrets.
Survive
the entities that watch from the shadows.
Will you find the truth, or will you become just another shadow in Kingsville?

I liked the previews and really expected to enjoy the game, but that wasn't the case, this game stressed me out so much that I felt like punching my monitor. I didn't get very far, I simply couldn't, so I’ll just list what bothered me the most: 1. Illusion of Choice: I don't mind a linear story, I even prefer it, but here we have false choices, and I hate that. 2. Free Roam: I didn't expect free roam when I downloaded the game, I prefer to avoid games like that and I'll avoid this one. 3. The Protagonist: The protagonist, and we have no control over him, if we try to control him, the false choices prevent us.

Gives me "Once in a Lifetime" vibes for sure, however not in a bad way. It's a fun, lighthearted, mystery-adventure story that is endearing enough to draw you in. If you want to take it easy and have a good laugh at some silliness, I think it's worth checking this one out.
