I feel like it's a good solid idea plagued by terrible execution. I know it might seem unfair to judge a game from its v.0.1 initial release, but I'm finding it really... sloppy ( and not in the sense that the images are AI-generated; I frankly don't care that much ). The game introduces you to heavily armored and sprinting zombies much too soon, and it can be easy to get overwhelmed as soon as the third level. Unless the point by the developer is to have to farm earlier levels for a pittance of the "ZombieCoin" needed for certain upgrades, the difficulty curve can be far too steep. Mechanically and visually, too, everything feels just a bit off. The bit-crushed character portraits and faux scanlines to give everything this "16-bit" pseudo-CRT vibe just puts a strain on the eyes for long periods of time. The ability to toggle those effects on or off would be wonderful, and much less harmful to my already failing vision. Likewise, the chakra pickups are tiny little specks on your screen, and you have to be exceptionally precise to try and pick them up by clicking your mouse; making them just a little bit larger would make everything so much easier... and perhaps instead of generating a small difficult-to-click orb beside our Sunflower expy, why not give them a blue aura when they're done charging, and just let us click the character to gain the chakra? Is that a thing that could be done? Because it feels like it would make so much more sense. ( I mean, for god's sake, the sun drops in PvZ are almost the same size as the entire Sunflower that generates them! ) And my final major gripe is the character selection—nothing against Hinata, Ino and Tenten certainly, but their implementation is... questionable. I mean, in the current roster, we have: Hinata, inheritor of the Gentle Fist, her most notable techniques being "Eight Trigrams Rotation" and "Protective 64 Palms", which would make her a perfect tank... so why is she instead in the back amassing chakra? Ino, an exceptionally skilled sensory unit ( and medical ninja, which requires massive reserves of power ), able to amass and disperse huge quantities of chakra in short order... is throwing shuriken at the zombies at a snail's pace. And Tenten, a master of space-time ninjutsu and bukijutsu ( TL: "weapon techniques" ), able to store away infinite amounts of kunai and shuriken and use them efficiently... but her sole purpose here is to get her brains eaten. I'm just saying, for as much as our MC claims to know about the Naruto universe, they absolutely fumbled hard there. Swapping them around so that their roles make more sense to their actual characters would be a neat attention to detail, with perhaps more characters to be unlocked along the way—I saw Anko ( no clue what she does, frankly ) and Gamabunta is your Doom-Shroom, but what about, say... Naruko lobbing Rasengans like a Melon-pult, or a gender-bent Sasuke acting like a fire-breathing Snapdragon from PvZ2? Maybe you could include something like Plant Food to briefly empower the girls for a short while. I don't know, I'm just spitballing random ideas. The only reason that this doesn't have only one star is because it's functional—it is absolutely in a playable state, even if that state makes Elden Ring look like Pajama Sam in comparison. ( And of course, point to the developer for finding an excuse to put the kunoichi in swimsuits. ) Still, "playable" does not necessarily equate to "enjoyable"... maybe in a few versions, when the creator has a clearer vision of what he wants to make with the game.

Fun PvZ-style gameplay with an adult anime ninja vibe. Combat feels satisfying and creative. The game has good potential—hope the developer keeps going and adds smoother, more animated battle scenes. Good luck
