About Last Sunset

Last Sunset is a Ren'Py visual novel by Venus, presented with animated 3D CG art. You play as a male protagonist who survives a motorcycle accident that kills his girlfriend and begins again at a new university. The story blends romance, humor, and voyeurism as strange events reveal dark secrets tied to his past, which he must unravel before they consume him.

The current build is Episode 1 v0.1.1, released December 19, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with no censorship. The update includes 73 new or reworked renders, such as Zoe and the protagonist's father's garage, plus one sound effect. A Hall of Achievements was added to the main menu, with four achievements tied to story progress and choices, while rewards arrive in Episode 2. Players can also disable minigames from the options menu, and typos and visual bugs were fixed.

Developer's description

After surviving a motorcycle accident that killed your girlfriend, you start over at a new university, hoping to escape the past. But as strange things begin happening around you, it becomes clear that your new life is tangled with dark secrets. Something from your past won’t stay buried—and it’s coming for you. Can you unravel the mystery before it consumes you?
