When uncompressed, the file comes out to 4.34 GB. Which might not seem like a lot (the worst gaming pcs have at least 256 GB of storage) but combined with bloatware, other applications, and other games that are worthy of taking up storage space, this game can put a decent dent into the storage space of a laptop or old computer. Okay now let's actually get into the gameplay Boring gameplay loop. Unintuitive does not describe how unfun this game feels to control. I'm such a nerdy tower defense game lover and I just decided to storm the military towns because at least I could actually fucking do something. The art COULD'VE saved this game from 1 star hell from my review if the gameplay wasn't just so...unfortunately existent. Edit: Yeah no this shit is STILL ass (Still a 1 star review)

The animations need some getting used to. They are mostly still images animated by being contorted and warped. But the art and animation itself is still done well enough, that it can be enjoyed. The gameplay is a little lack-luster, but enjoyable. The game deserves to be tried, simply because of how little games of this genre there are in general and because at the end it still has decent quality.

it plays very slugish and often unresponsive. My attacks hardly register, I have to get all up in them to even get a chance of hitting them. It is very much an idle game with little control and guidance.

The art and fetishes might be to your liking but there is no way around the fact that this game is basically designed like a mobile game but ment for PC with all the shitty time waste mechanics you would expect from a mobile game. I have no idea what parasite drove the developer to make something that is such an obvious step down from the previous game.

Want to play a game about conquering the world with a tentacle army and you have a lot of time in your hands? This game has it. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU HAVE A POTATO COMPUTER!!! -Reason why: Game will lag a lot of if you have 100+ army Some of the models were reused in this game along not patching some stuff. What I find interesting is that there was futas and big titties You'll also get bored watching your army do your work. Overall the game is still good in artstyle and good mechanics but this game will eat your time away and I rate it 6/10.

Recommended – 7.75/10 Summary Length: 10-15 Hours Experience: Tower-defence + rts + capture Gets too much hate for no reason, i get that the grind is long and there is not much reward for it, but the game itself is decent and a good try at something different in eroges. ITS NOT THE SAME RPGM slop with slightly different story, ofcourse it will have some problems, i loved the idea and art, implementation is kinda iffy. Story: 3.5/5 Gameplay: 4/5 Originality: 5/5 Scenes: 4/5: Not very dynamic, just the art sprite moving in some places, although i do like the very...... 'disgusting' tentacle style Amount of Content: 4/5 Characters: 3.5/5 Performance & TL:3/5: One of the major problems, game is not well optimized, as a game dev i can see why a new dev can have this problem, but too much shit happening each frame without optimization is bound to lag. <3

"And he spent so much time making this ' game ' (if you I even call it that)? This is pure trash, not a game. It's just designed to WASTE YOUR TIME. The grind is extremely long and pointless. The locations your hero captures don’t really give you anything later, and they don’t change visually—it’s always the same place. There are too many USELESS village. The only unique ones are story-related (like the castle). Upgrading buildings (even the worst ones) requires way too many resources—there’s no balance here. I still don’t understand which building increases the CONSTRUCTION LIMIT because I just can’t find it. In short—this is terrible, this is garbage, this is trash, this is not a game. People were right when they said the author has artistic potential, but he definitely doesn’t know how to make games."

This is just, not a good game. Great idea, poor execution. First, the graphics are.... bad. Specifically, it's 2d artwork in a 3d space animated by distorting the base 2d mesh. Which does not work very well when your seedbeds contort into existence when looking at their menu. Then, of course, this is a base building game done on a 2d horizontal grid from a 2d vertical perspective. With the grid being hidden, of course, and being done from a 3rd person camera tied to your MC's movement. Honestly this would have been better with a more top-down perspective for base-building, rather than the 2.5d character perspective. I think combat would have also been better as a tactical RPG, or something more like XCom 2. You don't get much feedback on when you can use your moves, and since your allies always move to attack, setting traps is useless.

This is a REALLY badly coded game. It only supports up to 1080p, no support for ultrawide resolutions, and it has the typical badly coded unity game issue of if you go fullscreen on an ultrawide monitor it maximizes based on the pixel width, not height, so huge chunks of the image are above and below the bounds of the display. And because it only supports up to 1080p, if I play it in a window to try and get around that on my 3440x1440 display, its a rather small window, and can't stretch to resize. Making hte game not even worth attempting to play, as everything is so small.

I love ZXC's creature designs, but nothing about this game works. If you've played Latex Dungeon, you'll be familiar with all the monsters. I like them, I'm happy to see them in something else, but I do not believe that ZXC has ever played a tower defense game in their life. Placing structures is awful, you can't see past anything in the foreground, and knowing which tiles have been built on is plain nonsense. And regardless of all the other UI war crimes, the tower defense aspect just isn't fun. You would think that with so many unique monster designs that you might get access to a lot of varied towers, but the game is solely focused on quantity. Which is just terrible when it runs so poorly. You place maybe 50 factories and suddenly it drops to below 20fps? That's not on me! It's like everything you build is a unique thing. Like, I get it, that cum flinging firehose used to be a brunette with dark lips, named Caroline. But for goodness sake, she's a gigantic cock now. For the fps, let Caroline go! This is all without mentioning the part where you invade towns. It's so slow, so repetitive. I understand the fantasy, you want to capture the ladies. But this game is barely made to be a tower defense game, let alone a sidescrolling brawler. Anyway. I like the idea of this game - the slow spread of corruption across the world. I feel like there is a game you could make with these ideas where it works. But not this, not the way anything here has been implemented.

v2.0.3 I really don't know where I exactly stand with this one. I like the mechanics, ideas, and the potential is there, but currently there's a lot issues with it that unfortunately doesn't give me high hopes for this game. If I could I would've given this a 2.5, but with how ratings work I'm rounding this to a 2. It currently plays like a dungeonmaster-esque genre with some strategy combat to it. However, Latex & Tentacles uses a 3d environment + 2d sprites that unfortunately doesn't work with the current mechanics. In combat, it's impossible to gauge where your melee attacks land, and trying to use your range attack or trap attack becomes frustrating as the 3d environment doesn't work in your favor, leading to missed shots. In the lair, the 3d environment becomes pretty crowded, and without planning you'll easily lose track of everything you place. The main UI, while stylish, also takes up too much of the screen. I like the idea and it reinforces the theme of being a tentacle monster, but I also prefer an option to see my entire lair without 20% of my screen being blocked off. The tutorial gives you a good idea of basic combat and lair management, but it can quickly become confusing. Once you finish the tutorial your essentially left to fend for yourself and figure things out without any pointers. For example, you start of with "tentacles" and can unlock "Latex" and "Plants" later down the lines as you progress, but these a labeled as "Skins," and the game does not explain that these a essentially different tiers that are essentially better compared to tentacles. Another problem is the "lack" of H content. There's only 1 capture scene, and a lot of the production building animations feel rather similar. One of the biggest disappointments is that brainwashing captured prisoners are rather lackluster in the H department. I like that you can upgrade their stats and armor with different looks as you progress, but their only function is to act as an ally. This works fine itself, but once you convert them you can't actually do any other H-scenes, only customizing their looks. Bugs are also prevalent. The most annoying one I encountered was during one of the boss stages, where in the very beginning of the stage, the camera would lock onto the boss at the very end of the stage but wouldn't go back to my character, essentially soft locking me as I couldn't see where I was going with enemies attacking me. Maybe in a few years this would be an interesting experience. But seeing that the developer is currently working on a few other projects simultaneously, I don't have too high hopes for this.

The gameplay loop is pretty interesting, you're basically building a lewd dungeon of sort with towers, traps to capture heroes that go into your cave and turn them into your lewd oversexualized monsters. You can also go out to explore to different locations to capture and defeat exotic heroes. The engine kinda sucks, it's all 2D models in 3D environment, sort like Doom, looks really cheap. The visuals leave something to be desired, I can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems like it's AI-generated, a lot of sexual scenarios don't have a sense of direction, for a lack of a better word. It's worth a try I guess? If you're really into the theme of seedbeds, tentacles and corruption, but don't expect more than 20 mins of worthwhile gameplay.

love the concept and genre, excited to see more content coming. A little clunky as of initial release but good foundation to build upon. Start as a little wormy guy and build up an empire of writhing moaning flesh ready to serve as your breeding stock, minions, and guardians.

review of v1.6.9 very unpolished, while there is plenty of sexy art, with girls being in fetish gear before capture and plenty of different options after transformation, there are very few actual sex/masturbation scenes the gameplay is rather weird and very clunky (it's really hard to tell if the attack will hit or not, or in general where to click to properly attack the mobs), I've commonly had to backtrack in a level because I missed a group of girls not recommended even if you specifically are looking for latex and body transformation

At this pont this game is very unpolished. Strange combat system, ugly level disign, all this stuff. But still, i really want this game to come out. UPD [v1.7.8] Level design got a little bit better. Shadows and lighting are better too. Also slaves are now have information in tabs, such as their race and weapons. Though followers have troubles with the terrain, that is too bumpy sometimes. Followers are also become totally useless after encountering tower archers. They just stop walking without fighting back and become useless till the end of the mission. Also in the gameplay there is still gap, when you have to just sit and wait a long time with nothing to do, since you are too weak to fight bosses, but already got plenty of slaves, so there's no real reason to invade villages. There is something either i don't get, or Tentacle resource genereting really slow, and sometimes it feels like it doesn't matter, if i have 20 tentacle seedbeds or just 2, that's not giving any feel of progression. Also upgrading seedbeds feels totally useless, as i can't tell if there any changes in their efficiency. Usually i don't have any problem with semen/milk/egg resources, but Tentacles are always low, no matter how much i spend on it.

I'm waiting for the final product, as I really liked the previous game. I will definitely buy it in steam as soon as it comes out, since I liked "Latex Dangein" from ZXC and I have played it for more than a dozen hours, and the screenshots from the game still warm not only the heart)
CuriousWonder 2023-03-16
Pretty good game so far. It's a bit grindy but this is clearly still early in development, it is also helpful that ZXC has multiple projects in the works but regardless the game has for bit of potential and I look forward to future updates

v2.9.3: The game made a lot of improvement.Even if there are still problems i said 3 years ago, the ability to lock a target made the chiose of the 3d environment less problematic than before. Allies and enemies get stuck less and you can always shoot long range missile. There are cutscenes when you capture bosses and the arts are the quality you expect from zxc. The gameplay is improved and i found it fun to play. The game finally is a fine product. OLD REVIEW For now i must give a bad rating on this game. The idea is fine, you are a tentacle monster, you defeat girls and you will use them as monsterbreed in your latex dungeon. The main problem is the isometric map. The game have a frontal view 3d map with 2d sprites, the movement is clunky and it's full of bugs and obstacles. You can end up stuck incapable to move against weed, you could end up falling to the end of the map and your enemy can end up being stuck in a tree. The combat is just moving up and down so you can avoid all attack from the girls and sometime element of the picture can obscure your view. Overall is too buggy and too clunky to be played.

As other said, gameplay is very unclear what you're supposed to do. The maps are exceptionally buggy and have very weird collision. The animations feel robotic and poorly done. There are only "gameplay" animations and nothing in the H department. The art doesn't look too bad, but this has a looooong way to go before it could even start being good
coshbar 2022-12-02
This has to be the worst game I have ever played, there is no tutorial, so you have no idea what to do. the maps are completely fucked up, visual glitches, invisible walls blocking the path, holes in the ground that fall endlessly, I honestly couldn't complete a single map (someone in the thread said you need to exit on the right side, you start at the left side). I know this is in early stages of development, but if you gonna release something, at least it should be somewhat playable
