The half a star come because it's one of the few "three kingdoms" games here Finish the game with the good ending, here are some pros/cons for those who might still on the fence. Pros Build-in gallery unlock, so no need to ask for save You can get every scenes in one playthrough (with the save and load magic) Good art (7/10 maybe 8 if you are tired with all those honey select/koikatsu renders) Generous timelimit (I make some mistakes here and there and still managed to get everything to max with time left over) Heroines are voiced Cons Nothing spectacular storywise, it's just a romance of the three kingdom parody The voice actors are underwhelming Boring endings (with two bad endings pretty much the same) So yeah, imo this game is a bit above average since it has some nice art and a serviable story for a porn game.

Finished it unlocked everything, maxed everything. Boring story and vanilla scenes with a couple exceptions, about what I expected. Almost every scene is animated but most look slightly off to me. Stat raising is boring and easy, only place you need to be careful in is the story choices.

The sex scenes in my opinion is average at best, traditional sexual positions, and holy fuck, let me be able to have the option to bed Liu Shan instead of making me wait the entire game for two scenes. As I was saying, the sex scenes were also very quick, just a few basic transitions, it's only saving grace was its art. There are absolutely no animations for most of the game, its just looking at pictures: nothing moves, not even a blink. Also continuing my earlier statement, the sex scenes are scarce as fuck, the cg library might look impressive but literally more than half of it is just story. There are a total of 5 scenes (2 of them are bad endings) that contain sexual interactions with Liu Shan. There are a couple of other girls that you get to have sex with so at least there's some sex in between the game. If you want to starve your brain of dopamine go ahead and play this game. Although the concept of Liu Shan Maker seemed good, it gets boring incredibly fast. It is a point and click time limit based system where you manage four stats, and you get three turns to interact with Liu Shan. You need to survive five years to win, there is no endless mode. Each year consists of 12 days (or months in this context) and each year you have a certain goal to work towards. By the way, the VN choices DO matter for the ending. Each day you get to make two decisions that increase and decrease certain stats or just purely decrease/increase stats. There is a very limited number of decision prompts in the game, so it is very easy to memorize the best choices of each decision, but you can also save scum if you want. It gets to a point where it is simply a chore due to its repetitiveness. As I mentioned in the first paragraph, you cannot bed Liu Shan at anytime you want, and its like a princess raiser where you train up her stats and dress her up. The time frame is forgiving but painfully slow if you already reached the goal. Did I mention why it was slow? its because there are un-skippable cutscenes and transitions during your three turns where you take care of Liu Shan. There is fast forward but you will need to hold down a key. On the plus side, every female character is voiced. Now, onto the story, the story is very easy to understand and straight forward if you bother to read it: the emperor of Shu dies from an illness, and Liu Shan inherits the throne and oh wow, coincidentally, the Cao empire wants to make a move on the Shu empire in five years. The side stories that you get to experience if you chat or venture with Liu Shan does add a bit more flavor, but it does feel a little forced onto the player. If you want all the dresses, you need to go venture out. Also, don't worry about the cost of venturing out, you are in no rush. The endings are not good at all, two bad endings, one normal ending (where you die), and two good endings as far as I remember. The bad endings are essentially; you failed to rekindle Liu Shan's relationship with her brother, and she gets gang-banged; you made a wrong VN choice so you lost to the Cao empire, and she gets gang-banged but its a reskin. The normal ending is pretty much a short Liu Shan missing you. Now the good endings depends on your affection with her, Spoiler: ENDING SPOILER getting max affection leads to a marriage and a sex scene with you and the Liu Shan, no pregnant content. Otherwise, the other ending results in her just appreciating you. The story was bland but it was easy to understand. I particularly enjoyed the characters because they actually have a reason to act that way. Liu Shan's brother was very frightened of getting rid of because he didn't send aid. The other side characters also had a reason to be acting that way but I am getting tired of typing at this point, so I will just suggest you check out the VN yourself. Just don't get too bored. Most of them have a reason to like you, especially Liu Shan, she depended on you. They just had a lot of character growth in my opinion. I'm not good at describing characters so I do apologize if this paragraph was not coherent. Playtime was pretty short, I completed the game in about three hours maybe four since I was 100 precenting it. Conclusion: There is nothing too noteworthy about the game other than the art.
