About Lost Bet

Lost Bet is a Ren'Py kinetic novel by Cautys Softworks. It uses 2D CG art and follows Jess, who learns that saying anything during a harmless bet can make things more interesting and risky. Even when she protests, she is presented as someone who keeps her word. The story includes adult themes such as teasing, exhibitionism, and male domination, while play is mainly reading through a visual novel rather than using complex mechanics.

The current build is v0.3, dated December 31, 2024, and development continues rather than being finished. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, without censorship. The latest changelog says v0.3 adds audio tracks, an in-game interface, and lighter assets for browser play. Earlier, v0.2 delivered the first zone release.

Developer's description

Jess quickly finds out that using the word "anything" during a harmless bet can turn things into something way more interesting - and potentially risky. But hey, despite her protests, Jess is a girl who always keeps her word.
