Anyway, this update has two large sections. The first - A gameplay update. You no longer receive money randomly based on your risk tolerance. Introducing 8 new unique investments that you have can find on the map, which you can finally use your investment cash for. Each have a different return, so read carefully to maximise your gains! We've heard the many, many complaints about the introduction being rushed. Fair enough. Our original intent was to get to the juicy bits quick, because well, this is an adult game. Anyway, with this update comes 6 new introductory events, including 4 branching sub quests, a re rendering of a few introductory events, and hopefully better pacing for the story. This should not affect your saves if you are playing from an old save, but you won't be able to see these events until we add them as repeatables in the future. We think these intro events are pretty cute, so do give them a try even if you have a later save. For our public build players, we have our 4 month late Valentine and Lunar New Years event. So uh, have the Valentine and Lunar New Year's event 4 months too late. It was partially written by a new writer, Prismo. So let us know if you enjoyed it. Other than that we've got a story expansion for Alaine, a new room for the house, and a new scene for Emi, viewable at night (when certain variables are met) when choosing to sleep with her. With this rewrite, the last thing we have to do for the ongoing rewrite is to rerender a few scenes. But that will be a while from now, as next update will focus on more content! Here's the full update! As we said earlier in the beta, this is coming out a lot later than we wanted. We mentioned a surprise in the last dev log. Well, here it is! Almost this entire update was written by JLDavenport! He's the head of the FE Lewd Writers discord, and is well known in the community for his stories 'A Change Of Tactics' and 'A Waning Silence'! Read his stories here ! We initially only commissioned him for 4 scenes which would amount to around 5000 words, but he went above and beyond, writing much, much, much more than what we asked for, ending up at around 20 000 words. We are eternally grateful to him, and he wrote so much that we couldn't fit everything into this update, so we're splitting it into two. Anyway, this update contains the continuation of Aria's training story line, including 8 new story quests, 3 repeatable training scenes, rewritten neediness milestones (courtesy of JLDavenport) and an option to sleep with Aria (The wholesome way). Aria's voice actress is Pixie Willow who has been an absolute wonder to work with, so do show her some love! Along with that, the time system has been reworked to give a better since of time progression, and the introduction has been further reworked to give a better tutorial of the game. This tutorial rework may affect some of you with later saves in that they may still trigger even if you are in a later part of the story, but you can just play through these events without it affecting your save overall, so don't worry about that. We also added sleep with interactions have been added to all 6 main heroines, with more to be added to this system in the future. Also, the new experimental support system is out for Patreons, starting with Emi and Aria as voted in the earlier poll. We caved and added a 0 in front of the version numbers because we kept getting DMs about v 1.0 meaning it's completed. Congratulations, you nitpicking motherf-. Ahem. Finally, this update also experiments with a different kind of compression. Quality should very, very, very nearly the same as the lossless compression we used earlier, except its now 1.5 gb instead of 8. We'll do a poll to see if anyone prefers the lossless compression for future updates, so do vote!
