The tag says, that this game is finished, but it certainly does not feel like it. The animations in this game are quite nice. Whatever ideas went into those are probably came at the cost of the level design. All of them look basically the same, but are longer, except for the intro part. You certainly will not be playing the game for any witty dialogue, story or personality of the characters. There is a nice variety of enemies and attacks. Gameplay however has the problem of having next to no variety. Enemies will spawn off-screen and for some you better have a great reaction time or else you get hit. Boss fights are all just huge bullet sponges. Levelling up is almost useless with how little it changes the damage output. The music is okay and fitting to the environment. You will find the occassional bug in the game, that will dampen your enjoyment, if you had any with this game. You might suddenly be unable to move or fall off the map. This game is not the worst, but certainly needs polish.
Primitive combat, but that's not what the game is about) Great scenes, not high difficulty, kickass animations. I don't understand why such bad ratings. Too bad it's so short, you could have unfolded and unfolded))) I hope the razrabi will continue to write their products
do 40 damage with gun. max out the upgrades for gun. do 50 damage with gun. slug takes 3 shots until then. dashes are worthless. any hit on you sends you to the fucking moon. do not upgrade your jump, it will also send you to the moon.
Is the game really so bad that it is not worth a try? No. I have tried many side-scroller and there are some that I deleted after trying for just 2 minutes. For Ex: SisterVirodar Is there games better than this one. Yes, a lot. Although this game is noted as complete, it really is not. Several weak points: Storyline does not make any sense. Gameplay: Don't know why the player has to go through many repeated runs until she reaches the boss. Very awkward. Very easy game (I guess it could be a plus or minus). The boss fights are just run away and shoot, repeat? Game is too short. Hate to say this, the game seems to be a rushed project just to get it out the door. Oddly, I felt this game could be a start or a foundation to be something much better. For Example: 1) Hidden traps where the girl has to struggle to get free, rope or handcuff or something. 2) Second area could be a hidden alley way, where 3 or 4 thugs come in to bully the protagonist 3) Boss fights should have several henchman helping out. Throw a Molotov Cocktail or a lasso at the protagonist. 4) A better storyline that at least make some sense. 5) Since the game is so short already, might as well add some good thought out cut-scenes after each stage. To me this game is kind of like a trial run that you try once and forget and delete. Compared to a well polished Side-Scroller, this game is like 5% compared to those games. I would give it between 2- 2.5 out of 5. Have I tried worst side-scroller games, many.
I wouldn't purchase this game if I were you. I paid for the game on Steam and it ended up being a super buggy mess with barely any H-scenes... The dialogue is machine translated and is completely unreliable. The gameplay isn't all that great either. I am usually a fan of either pixel art H-Games or any sort of 2D H-game platformer but I just found the experience to be lackluster especially if you're paying for the game.
Full Game. Hot garbage. -Maps: Redundant, there isn't much variety. Same copy and paste objects to fill in a map area. You get two different areas, the space ship and then the town. Guess what? All the town spots look the same, with slightly little variation. Even worse the boss zones is the same zone. -Pointless Grinding: It is real, it is pointless, yea maybe it will help later out, but I just hard right to get to boss fights. -Control Scheme: Fucking sucks. You CANNOT change layout mapping. Who in their right fucking mind makes you hold W so you can attack with X? If I could config it, I would change the layout, but guess what? None of that here, got to stick to shitty keyboard binding scheme. -Combat: ...... Like, I literally almost lost it. I play some shitty combat games or enemy wave games. I don't even know what upgrades damage, maybe upgrade itself in the layout? But fucking combat is tedious to point I just tried to avoid it altogether. Don't even get me started on bossing, that with the fuck up control scheme on top of it made me want to give up. -Story: Can't tell, fucking colors start contrasting with background it is hard to say what the fuck is really going on. -Gallery: I beat the game, unlock gallery. Gallery you don't even get individual scenes, it is a slam fest of sprites all over the place without being able to hear sounds or interact. Like what? I was hoping there was light at the end of this struggle tunnel, but alas, it is just more darkness and another slap in the face. =/=Scenes: There are some actual good sprite scenes. It is a shame the rest of the game is a giant turd. Final Verdict: Ok, hear me out. Grab someones save, maybe edit save, I would provide mine, but I have zero upgrades. Then just instead of going to gallery, find enemies cause well, the gallery itself isn't rewarding or is even rewarding for the struggle when coming to play the game. Trust me on this, you do not want to waste your time or grind on this, there are better sprite games with actual fun gameplay. Unless you are a fucking masochist, then don't bother and grab someones save and go from there.
Played the game on steam, then refunded. It's bad. Scenes aren't sexy because they don't last long enough. Controls suck, the plot sucks, my life sucks. I do gotta say, the pixel art I saw for like a few seconds when it happens, it's pretty good. Overall, one star for the failed cyberpunk game.
Not gonna lie, its pretty bad. I personally tried to get through this 4 times in a row and couldn't get past the first encounters because of the bad choice of controls. I have no idea why you would have a ready to shoot button in a game like this. To make it worse the fire button is nowhere near it so it's awkward to do. That is pretty bad but I could muscle through that if it wasn't for the unresponsiveness. I dared to go into the menu on 2 of my attempts and pretty much softlocked the game because after returning to game, I simply couldn't move at all. Cherry on top is the protag proceeded to slide stage left off screen. Every function worked besides movement. After the 4th time i simply gave up because having to sit through the intro again and again wore on me. Pixel art is nice and I do like the menus somewhat but besides that, it's pretty ruff all around.
This is simply not a good game even for a 0.1 beta. The Pixel art is rudimentary not good nor bad. And that's where the non-bad points of the game end. The voice actress is doing an awful job, I had to skip all cutscenes due to the obnoxious voice she was using. Then we have the downright atrocious choice of controls that are very unintuitive and you are unable to remap. Even if you do manage to get by the controls are very unreliable, and some points won't register. And finally (and that's a personal opinion) there was no reason to introduce a virginity system in the game AT ALL, even if you manage to avoid all sex attacks the game takes away your agency and the MC gets raped in a cutscene. Either you make the system have a meaning and give the choice tot he player or you don't introduce it at all.
For a beta, that's a solid 4. The game is very pretty, the menu is well-designed and pleasing to the eye, I missed a little animation to make it even more beautiful, and the music really captivated me. The menu is simple... too simple, I miss several things, one of which I'll comment on in a moment. The story seems interesting to me, it's basic and almost generic, but it's that kind of “generic” that can turn into something very good, since being original with stories these days is quite difficult. Gameplay... well, my computer isn't that great, but I don't think I should be running at 20 or 22 fps in a pixel game, I don't know what it is, if the game is badly optimized or if my computer is a potato (probably both), but I felt that there could be graphic options for people who don't have a decent computer like me. As for the combat, I found it... lazy. The shots have no animation, at most the pistol moves, but there are no bullets, you shoot straight and hit an enemy crawling, the dash is badly done, it looks like you just teleported by letting out a giant fart backwards, and since I'm at a low fps, I can't tell if the dash is good or bad, since I took all the possible blows I could take because of it. I'm really looking forward to this game being updated, because everything about it really captivated me. Oh yes, if you've read about the H-Scene, they're not game-over scenes, but in-game, which is a plus (for me at least), and they're very lively, and you kind of decide whether you're going to be raped or not, since you have enough time to get up after falling. ALMOST FORGOT, THERE'S VOICE ACTING, I LOVE IT! Hope it's not AI.
V0.1 Reviewed Pro: - Pixel art is quite nice, original and fluid - Clearly alot of effort gone into this, story, intro, design etc. Let's be honest though, this won't matter for 80% of people. Con: - Unskippable intro with no keybindings explanation. How do you aim? Why is randomly tapping buttons now giving hearts around the protag? Do they mean something? Are we on a spaceship or a train? I exitted the game and hit Continue and it just plopped me down 6 months later in the city, so that's a cool skip workaround I guess? - The robot enemies NEVER die, shooting 20 times whilst being knocked down again and again 1v1, are they meant to be immortal? Then why have them run around in the first zone like enemies? - Was expecting a slow burn on the corruption with a synopsis and clear long-goal like this, but nope, it's "Hey girl, do you want to get raped? Yes/No" and H scene plays. It feels lazy when you are trying to come across as this hyped unique thing in the description/intro Feels like they should have had someone not on the dev team have a run through this before releasing it, because I know they would have raised at least half a dozen points to fix before debut. It's got potential, will be interested to see if it gets beyond just having potential and a fancy intro cutscene after 6 months.
