Update 0.2.2.2 Updated game engine version. Items in the Journey shop now become grayed out if you lack the resources to purchase them. Fixed the issue with "flashing" transitions between locations where the base state of the location would appear momentarily. Removed on-screen buttons from the magic mini-game and added an on-screen touch bar. Now you can cast spells by swiping your finger/cursor across the screen (thanks to Habish for the idea!). Fixed a bug where the "fullscreen mode" checkbox in the settings did not take into account the current state of the screen and could minimize the window each time you exited the settings. Updated resource mini-game field generation. The mine now generates the playing field in "chunks" – small, ready-to-collect groups of resources. Gradually, the playing field will degrade into a chaotic state to prevent infinite gameplay at the expense of energy. Added an active quest widget to the game map HUD. It shows all current tasks and can be hidden by pressing the button in the interface (thanks to Habish for the idea!). Updated mini-game tutorial. Fixed saving and loading with the old version. Fixed tooltips – now they disappear correctly when the dialogue is closed. In some cases, it's now clearer what needs to be done, and there are quests with several simultaneously active tasks. A significant part of the starting storyline has been rewritten - the hero has become calmer and more balanced. Descriptive texts have been added to the initial dialogues and quests to improve immersion. The final button in the tutorial can now be simply pressed instead of held down (the need to hold it down was not obvious). The quality of the game is fine. No bugs and gameplay is smooth but that's all I can say nice about it. The game isn't fun. There's very little adult content. Adult content doesn't make for 1% of the game. It's a chore simulator. Go hear then go there and go back over and over again with no reward. There's no way to fast forward through conversations that you have zero interest in. This game is simply fetch quests and minigames with no reward. Another one of those devs that don't understand the concept of an adult game. This game is an example why every sandbox clicker and VN needs to be made in renpy instead of Unity and RPGM.

So this game is interesting. No amount of pointing at all the many poorly implemented parts of it can make up for the fact that I'm having a fun time, so let me try to talk about why: It's a game about a nepobaby who is having to do real work for the first time when tasked to start a magic academy in some tiny backwater town. The game is set in the harry potter universe in a pretty "who cares" kind of way. imo it's just a way to make the dickgirls a funnier inclusion. The premise is ok, the artstyle is charming and it's has this very oldschool almost point and click vibe about it with it's endless fetchquests, which are the core for the main gameplay loop Building a rapport with the locals is mostly about running errands for them,in two different ways: At first through a simple candycrush minigame and after a few developments through a slay the spire esque deckbuilder. The candycrush is kind of annoying but it's also one of the only things that passes time while simultaneously doing something, so you might as well. It's the deckbuilding that's a little iffier. It's...not well made For starters it should absolutely pass the time. And maybe it's supposed to causeI have done about 9 sidequests in a single day and they obviously expected me to be further along in the main quest based on the dialogue on those. But it doesn't pass the time, which breaks the timeflow of the game a bit. But when it comes to the meat of it, it's simply very badly balanced. I have not foud a single epic card worth using and most of the rare ones are worse than simple commons. In the end, it was mosly about finding a cheesable strategy. Which, though I found pretty easy to do, you can't fault people complaining about the difficulty for not finding these when tooltips are so wrong. Incendio's tooltip reads: "Apply 3 burning".I can only speculate it's not supposed to also do 7 damage (which it does), because it makes the card completely broken, even with the basic equipment loadout, but ESPECIALLY after you find the fire and DoT related equipments, allowing you to make a deck exclusively out of incendio and episkey. This area of the game needs a lot more polish. That being said, once I found a cheesable strategy and got all the equipment recipes, it just goes back to being a simple minigame. Enter the map->Look fora building that allows you to remove some useless rares that the equipment puts into your deck -> Run straight to the boss/special NPC. It becomes a much more seamless part of the gameplay loop, and puts the focus back on "talk to these charming characters". And I can't really complain about that. I like the characters, I like their internal conflicts and the obvious answers that yield each result. I don't even know if the mechanic to make characters behave differntly based on alignment is implemented yet but I'm curious to see where it goes.I'm looking forward to the next addition to the gameplay loop once we start actually having to run the academy. The game is simple, it's grindy, it's a little broken anda little poorly balanced, but...it's fun,in a bit of a nostalgic way. And I think that's enough

One star for the pretty artstyle and the design of girls. Thats it. Sex scenes are nonexistent. The only one I´ve seen is with Lilian in the tavern. All the other content is locked behind resources and items you find in the portal worlds where you need to fight all sorts of monsters. And this game has the worst battle system I´ve ever experienced in any adult game out there. 1. You absolutely cannot play it with one hand on your cock and 10% of your brain because you actually have to build your deck and strategize. 2. When you die you lose your inventory which effectively wastes all the time you have invested in the run. 3. Healing is... problematic. There is a constant attrition of your health. You can camp limited number of times and there are special buildings but... You want to heal? You will have to fight 1-3 goblins that apply poison. Have fun. 4. Your mana is stuck on 3/3 so you have to use deck full of weak cards until you get good ones. When do you get them? After grinding enough through every encounter on the map (40-90 minutes) and then when you exit back home all is gone. 5. Numbers work in bizzare ways. When the card says it does 5 damage and in reality it does 4 with no other modifier on the monster you really have to wonder what is going on. 6. Each encounter is a giga SLOG. Even lone goblin can take up to 10 minutes of boring back and forth. I give up. After just barely defeating the first boss (ice elf) which took me around half an hour I lost my inventory in fight with 3 armored goblins just on the heal tile. Oh and one other thing. All the advice I´ve found here is utterly useless. "Bro just equip the Shadow wand and use the Bombarda card bro." Yeah sure WHERE and WHEN do you get all the powerful stuff? Thats right, after hours of grinding the most difficult fights. Its really not worth the effort.

This is a game with a promising premise that completely fails to deliver on it. After several hours of play, there is no magical academy and there are no students. The characters we do interact with are designed well enough but we have barely any content for them that isn't repetitive dialogue and a series of annoying fetch quests with overplayed minigames interspersed between them. This is a game with a very large amount of content but little passion - "slop" is the word that most came to mind while forcing myself to complete the available content to see if it ever delivered on its premise. I cannot overstate how repetitive this game gets after an hour - each character's route requires you to have essentially the same conversation with them 5 times while playing minigames - Rose is shy and wants you to get herbs for her, and she'll be shy and want you to get herbs for her after ingame months of talking to her. Elizabeth is insecure and wants you to get scrolls for her, and that'll continue to be the case long after you've gotten tired of talking to her. The art is decent in places but does not do nearly enough to make up for the dreariness of the game.

good art and hot scenes. it's a little disconnected in parts but i think it could clean up nicely in future updates. the main gameplay is nice and I like the combat system, but it feels like i'm playing three different games and would love if the different types of gameplay were more interwoven together
HentaiLover_ 2025-09-30
The game is solid, the art is great, they have a lot of work to do, but the actual state of the game is really great. Maybe one thing I really appreciate the developers add to the game is the voice acting. I hope they complete the game, it has a lot of potential.

VN camouflaging as a deckbuilder. Probably fun for wizarding world fans but on its own doesn't stand too tall. I tend to waste a lot of time playing h games but this was one of the very few where I genuinely didn't feel like playing fully through. Porn is alright although nothing extraordinary as its the same old slut with big tits treatment for all the characters. The 'fantasy races' are just different colors of that same generic chick.
Bilada3000 2025-08-09
It's a Visual Novel that has Slay the Spire and Candy Crush inside of it. With an amazing art style that reminds me of Summertime Saga. Great game. I ran into a few bugs inside the card game but I assume they'll fix it in later versions. The game is a lot larger than I expected and pretty fun to play. I would say it's one of those NSFW games that has actual gameplay.
Macumbonline 2025-07-26
I'm not even a fan of the universe of Harry Potter (dunno nothing about it lol), but you have to give this game some credit. The art is beautiful, the minigames are fun (it was the first time I was got by something else than the history - and the scenes, of course - in a porn game) and the history is intriguing. The Sophisticated English might get a little difficult for someone that english isn't the first language, but I find it pretty funny too lol

Bad card battle system, boring grinding, not much sex scenes and u cant even repeat them and to get them u need to do a much of grind. But game does have one big plus, which is why it deserves more than 1 star — it has visually pleasing graphics and a high-quality art style. So do not waste ur time, even if graphics and art style looking good
drifter139 2025-04-11
combat is awful, dev changes the combat system too much, it feels like a grind to get even a small reward, and honestly the game sucks. if I had to choose between being being drafted for war and playing this game, I choose to be drafted

Magic Academy is easily the most ambitious porn game I have seen. It is part extremely grindy sandbox with three periods (Day, Evening, Night) where everybody asks for 10s of wood/magic dust/herbs/iron/ and part slay the spire styled deck builder. The sandbox part is used to pad a fairly small amount of kinetic VN content. Like every sandbox porn game, it is not fun. It is another Harry Potter game about a headmaster trying to set up his school where he will groom young women but, It is comprised almost entirely of running back and forth to the lumber mill/mining minigame and skipping forward a day. I am serious, every woman in the game wants hundreds of logs and, stones and, herbs and, iron.I saw a YouTuber describe the sandbox part of games like this as shitty, unenjoyable foreplay and, it is so true. The deck builder is competent and more than you will find in any other porn game for sure. That said, it is still far too simplistic and easy with far too few cards to be entertaining on its own merits. It replaces Slay the Spires nodes with a map that lets you wander around and pick and choose the combats. Which is something none of the deck builders do as they are all about hard choices and resource management and, this game is not. The art on the other hand is pretty great. The sex scenes are animated well. The love interests are varied looking, The problem is it is gated behind yet another dragged out "sandbox" and, a below average, feature light deck builder. I think this game would be best if the sandbox part was removed, and it was instead made into a kinetic novel and the deck builder was expanded upon. Of course, that is just my opinion. Also while I didn't fail any deck builder portion I did find the armored goblin to be obnoxiously tanky.

I am torn between 2 and 4 stars, so have settled on 3. If this game was marked as 'complete' I would rate it as 2 stars, but I think it could grow into a 4 star rating. My main criticism with the game as it is that it's either too much game and not enough porn, and too much porn and not enough game. I think that the game needs to head more strongly in one direction or another, because I have seen few examples of games managing to achieve both. The sex scenes aren't repetitive, as they are with many visual novels that include a game loop, but they are incredibly scarce and while the artwork is fantastic, I personally felt that the sex scenes were unimaginative and minimally interactive. On the game side: - Matching puzzles are only fun and interesting a couple of times. I am not all the way finished with the current version, but some of the first ways to spend materials should be into the mining and forestry areas so that they produce income on a daily basis to make playing the game repeatedly unnecessary. (This could also be tied in with other characters as the game progresses to improve efficiency or whatnot, but you can't wait hours into gameplay to allow players to bypass repetitive content. I am not all the way finished with the current version so it's possible that at some point you can send students to do this, but it really can't wait for that if so.) - The other worlds CCG stuff is cool, but needs a lot more development and testing to maximize fun if you go with the game route. If you go with the porn route, I don't know, I have rarely seen combat be integrated into a sex game and have the game survive as a sex game. This is true in this, as well, a sex scene at the end of spending an hour playing cards is fine if you want to make a game that has sex in it, but it's not a sex game anymore. Anyhow, really cool concepts and I hope this develops in one direction or another into its full potential. For what little it is worth: my personal recommendation is to remove all the porn, and scale it back to PG13 sexy, and then focus on story/gameplay and I think that it works as a slightly lewd Harry Potter parody game. I think that's the easier sacrifice to make given that the game orn ratio currently significantly favors the game side.

This review is for the 0.3.5 release. I wanted to give it 3.5 stars but because there is no in-between I gave it a 4 for the potential I see in it. From a porn perspective, I would give it a 2.5 maybe. It has amazing art but the content is limited. The story idea is nice but I found the dialogue boring after a while and found myself skipping most of it. It is linear in the sense there are quests for you to do, you do them and you progress. There are some choices when you speak people and it says they will remember what you chose but it's unclear what effect if any that has. What I liked about this game though is one of the mini-games. It has 3 at the moment of writing. A connect stuff to make it disappear. A sort of very basic candy crush without powerups and a dungeon battler with spells. The dungeon battler I found to be fun, the spells are pretty varied and so are the enemies. It gets easy very fast at the moment but I imagine it will get more balanced over time. If that was a full game made on steam I would play it. So: for who wants some hot Harry Potter themed content this isn't really it, at least not for now. But who wants to play some mini-games and see some nice images/animations from time to time, give it a go and see if it fits you. P.S. How the game starts, I was hoping for a sort of Headmaster starts corrupting students and it has nothing to do with that as at the time of writing you can't even open the school yet.
The UnHolyOne 2025-02-27
what can i say, wonderful art, alright writing *didnt hook me though*, and varied characters, and an interesting world. however, as much as i began enjoying the mini games and such, i got to a point where i had to collect nearly 100 fairy dust or whatever its called, and that portion is insanely grindy. the thing that sucks the most, is theres alot of effort that goes into the grind, and i cant even revisit scenes through gameplay. has great potential, but with a lack of repeatable scenes, and abit too much on the tedious tasks being abit grindy. ill await for further updates to hopefully rectify this
rross33333333 2025-02-19
I think it's well made and has a lot of potential. The plot is interesting for a h-game and the path system could turn out great. The drawings are high quality as well, very pleasing to look at. More audrey please!

Hell yeah, can't believe it took me this long to give a review but here we go. Game is very pretty with the ladies having a nice variety in body shape Dialogue is pretty solid and nothing breaks the harry potter world setting to my eye The portal/dungeon crawling bit is great, looking forward to some harder content though, I especially like getting to rail the bosses of each area, thats pretty nice Also the dev is here and actually helped with a bug so that itself would earn another star from me, really looking forward to more
waffel 2024-11-06
This is just a VN with extra steps! If they wanted to they could have made an actual game about building and managing a magical academy, but this is just read some text, do a small insignificant minigame, click here and there. I gave it 30 minutes, then I was done with it. The extra star is because the art is somewhat nice at least!
ShadySkull 2024-10-29
It is a game I do see the potential of being one of my favorites if they keep up with the momentum. I love the art-style and this "softcore" parody we have with Harry Potter. I do think it needs more scenes already. I don't know why or what makes them go for this explore dungeon storyline already since we haven't even developed much with our current set of character Whenever there's an update that would corrupt the previous save and makes me have to start the game from the start again pisses me off. At this point, I would just observe what's going on and decide not to play the game any more since my save would be useless with the next update anyway.
Brytanth 2024-10-16
This game has great prospects for the future, it has wonderful CG scenes and a steady pacing. The concept behind the game is also a great bonus as it does not intend to follow the crowd but instead strike out a new path. I'm looking forward to the future of the game.
