This is the only adult game I’ve played in detail since I started developing one myself. It can be difficult to spend a day off playing this kind of game, I imagine many developers feel the same way. But after I was introduced to Melody Muse , I decided to give it a try, and I genuinely enjoyed it. It feels refreshing. Although the game uses AI-generated graphics, it is very honest about what it is. The chats are well written (human written with quality) and enjoyable, and it’s clear that a lot of work has gone into them. The possible paths almost feel endless, giving the game a lot of replayability. I’ve unlocked six of the NPCs so far, and my favorite is V______ #5. I really enjoy her story and her images, although I like all of the characters. The game also begins with Megra, who is instantly hot! My favorite thing about the game is the attention to detail the developer has put into the voices. It really is a tremendous amount of work. I know because I’ve tried doing it myself, and gave up. I’m genuinely impressed! The rhythm-game feature is fun as well. I think there are only three or four songs so far, but I know it will continue to expand. The developer seems hardworking and is clearly dedicating real time and effort to the game’s development. Anything the game currently lacks is mostly the result of it still being early in development. There are a few minor quality-of-life issues, such as dialogue requiring a click to advance rather than automatically continuing. There is already an option for this in the settings, so it isn’t really a major problem, and I’m sure the developer will find a happy medium as development continues. When I have more time, I expect to continue playing until I’ve completed everything. I’m already more than halfway through, though, and I wanted to take the time to honestly recommend Melody Muse to others! 5 Well Deserved stars! ENJOY!

Played through all the content on version v0.10a. The game is pretty nice with a good mix between content and the rhythm gameplay. The gameplay and progression is quite easy, though, and while enjoyable, it gets a bit stale after a while. Pretty much always 100%ing the rhythm challenge after the first few attempts and I've never seen the life bar drop below 98%. The characters and writing are somewhat endearing, but it's a bit strange how easily-attached and impressed they are by the MC. This is somewhat explained by the story and context of the interactions, but it's still a bit weird, and I'd hope the later characters would be less easy and more realistic. The bigger issue with the writing is the overall imbalance in volume: it's like all the characters love the sound of their own voice and keep yapping, except the MC who is like the best listener ever and only says a short line every 3 minutes to steer things along. I would have expected more of an actual dialogue and more navigation around the dialogue branches based on the promised for skill-based conversation. The art and horny parts are alright I suppose. I don't mind them, but I'm also not particularly impressed. Spoiler: Progression spoilers There isn't much beyond some sexting and the one encounter with Tara, which is expected for the early stage of the game. I found it surprising that things progressed with Tara much sooner than the other characters. Maybe that will be adjusted later as it felt quite sudden, but I liked the encounter and the supporting characters. Overall I think the game delivers on its promises moderately well and it's very work in progress so I don't want to be too harsh. It's quite rudimentary and one-dimensional atm though. I think it has the potential for a 5 star rating if the content gets fleshed out and everything gets polished, but it's quite far from that point currently. The standards on this site are pretty low, though, so I feel bad giving it a 3* when there are hundreds of trash VNs and effortless AI slop games rated higher. But it's fair in its current state. Hopefully I can return and raise the rating with future updates. It's worth the 3-4 hours of discovering the characters' personalities. Looking forward to the future updates.

Refreshing and well put together game, looking forward to the future development. A little work could be done on the save system, and maybe replay feature but overall a refreshing and great start to what could be a very cool game. Kudos to the dev.

off to a promising start, AI art isn't terrible and can be pretty hot. nice to have skip buttons for the dialogue and the rhythm sections are simple enough that it shouldn't annoy anyone. I'll be keeping my eye on future updates although I will say I am always skeptical to support projects using AI art as many get abandoned before making it halfway through development.

(Would rate this 4.5 stars if possible) Actually a surpisingly well executed game for being AI I have to say, and without giving spoilers, not just locked to a phone interface, which makes it better, various mechanics and quirks within the chat too, though I'd argue it being described as not just a VN is a tad disingenuous, but it doesn't suffer for it too badly. The art is AI, but its pleasant, there are no glaring issues and the look of the characters is consistent and cohesive, I wish it was edited a little more to not be the same visual style as blatantly, but ultimately there is enough variety that I don't feel like I am looking at the same girl all the time. There is an AI voice over which nicely mixes things up and adds some variety, and the voices match the girls fairly well and it does a fairly good job at lilt and actual cadence in the voice, even if sometimes its not as good. You have actual choices and opportunities to mess things up in the game, and your choices are tied to the progression mechanic, you don't get to choose LI's, but then again, the story and premise of the game makes it pretty clear that its not what it is about, so I don't think its a bad thing in this case. The progression mechanic is a DDR / Friday Night Funkin' style rhythm game, which raises your stats, and if executed well, raises your stats enough to unlock some better dialog options. It makes for a nice break, but also can feel like a chore and is very repetitive in its nature even if it does get more difficult as time goes on. Tons of content for its existing progress, took me multiple hours to hit a point where I had no more content left, and the game was clear about it which I appreciate. With a bit more of a distinction in the art, more variety in the type of content, which I would expect to get with where the story is headed with the girls and changes to the level up mechanic will make this a really good game.

Its really well done, a phone chat game that goes on for blooming ages! I've been playing it for 3 hours and only "unlocked" 3 characters, (I have 5 unlocked easily but I don't have the mental fortitute to text them all at once without forgetting what each one is about!), so the content is huge. There are a lot of choices within the texts, almost all of the responses you make to the girls are choices, and then there's a mini game where you practice chatting which plays a part in upping your "chat skill" that allows for occasional advanced choice responses. The AI art is pleasant, you try to get the girls to take much more of an interest in you and end up in bed. I'm not 100% comfortable at the premise of chatting them up and then leaving them but it is 100% plot directed. I'd be happier if there was a way to thwart the evil plans, and maybe there is - I've just not completed 1 of the girls yet. All in all, the game is engaging, there's a ton of content. If you're imagining the usual phone text games that are over in 20 lines of dialogue, lol. think again. The text the girls gives you is believable too, it feels like your responses meaningfully progress the stories along. I recommend it, the devs did a great job with it. If you like slowly working to uncover girls with their stories too, then this is for you.
