Major Fixes:
- Fixed Maya's Scene at the Party Inn not showing the images (Definitely check her scene out!)
- Fixed leaving the party inn after the Millenia catacomb scene sending the player to a black void. (Millenia was setting all the stored map variables to 0, naughty succubus!)
- Fixed the skill reset function, it should now add and missing skills to party members correctly.
- Removed chest containing water flask from the Salolo desert. It was there by mistake and was not supposed to be obtained there, it was breaking the story flow in places.
- Added missing weapons and skills for Guard, Guard Captain and Succubus Queen.
Other Fixes and Tweaks:
- Added all party members to scenes where you are required to gather your party to prevent softlocks. (In the case where a player uses the cheat room or gets party members before they are supposed to)
- Fixed being able to get stuck during the box puzzle in Oasis village. You now get a free escape scroll upon entering that you can use to escape the room if you get yourself trapped.
- Fixed the Guard, Guard Captain and Succubus having incorrect skill menus in battles and wrong equipment flags.
- The Priestess in the forest shrine now has a different greeting before and after defeating the boss.
- Sandy can now show up at the campsite before entering the desert if you manage to recruit her beforehand.
- Fixed the ! showing above the campfire instead of Reyna's head in the second camp scene.
- Fixed the screen fading to black during the dialogue with the Guard Captain, before fighting her.
- The Guard Captain now has some different dialogue depending on if you have completed the Arena before encountering her later in the story.
- Fixed Archivist character showing up at the first shrine during all the chaos when they shouldn't be visible.
- Fixed the guard outside the Pyramid remaining knocked out forever.
- Fixed some equipment with duplicate descriptions
- Fixed statue in the spooky mansion returning to its original position and preventing access to the basement.

The story continues with a bunch of new locations to visit and story content. Visit the isolated capital.
Added a new area to the party inn, the dojo. This area contains new ways to learn skills and also a battle ready "trainer maid"
Every recruitable character in the game now has at least 10 skills they can learn via level ups, if you have already grinded past these levels, talk to the new trainer maid in the party inn to check and add any missing skills.
Added more improv weapons that can teach skills to the user.
All characters now have more varied and unique flavour text during battles, their personalities are much stronger.

== Difficulty Adjustments ==
Went through and manually adjusted level scaling for ALL areas. All areas should now have enemies that scale sensibly and not forever. (Previously enemies didn't have level caps in many areas)
To compensate for this, we've added an item that enables the old infinite scaling method for those that enjoyed the challenge or want to grind for some reason.
Added item that re-enables enemy scaling when equipped, the challenge band. Can be bought at the Dojo. Scales enemies to match the MC's Level.
Increased lower level variance so lower level enemies can appear. (The enemy levels have a minimum cap and maximum cap for each area).
Added more element strengths and weaknesses to enemies. All bosses now have a clear weakness.
== Other Additions ==
New items and equipment.
Added Loner Bracelet item that sets the random cure chance to 0 when equipped. Allows players to skip cure dialogues by not having it trigger at all.
A lot of story dialogue and notes have been adjusted to fill plot holes, issues with consistency and other issues. The story should be a bit clearer and more defined overall.
Added more dialogue to various places and NPCs after the player has done certain things. For example, after finding the elf-cowgirl hybrid at the lab, if you go back to Nyuuville and speak to the rancher, you can get some special dialogue.
Created the Growth Mushroom item that levels up any party member you use it on instantly.
Added a way to see how many monster girls you've collected and how many are missing; you can access this via the dojo and also use it to play practice battles against any monster you've already recruited.
Added an old man to the nyuuville inn that forbodingly alludes about the war in heaven and the true purpose of the shrines
Added more lore to the nyuuville shrine in the way of a sign that has a little nugget of lore
The shrine maiden in the crack now speaks about a seal being broken if you speak to her before Millenia
When Millenia opens the gate in the crack, there is now a ghostly voice and some dialogue about a seal being broken.
Updated some of the party inn and graveyard dialogue with new drips of lore
Added a way to choose the appearance for the Zombie girl, Ant Girl and new Guard Girls. (Must be done at the party inn when she is not in the party).
Removed pounce and mount from all enemies, need to refine these sexual attacks so that players aren't constantly getting stuck/locked, maybe only have some enemies with the ability/more variety.
Added the Cheat Hammer Weapon that has 999 stats, for those that want to instant win battles.

Many of the cutscenes have had character busts and other TLC put into them to make them more visually appealing.
Fixed issue where guards would block the exit to Nyuuville if you went into a building after talking to them.
Anti-Herb now correctly removes the bleeding state. The state has also been adjusted to be removed on its own after around 30 steps outside battle.
Made the North Cave compatible with the escape scroll.
Made the Pyramid compatible with the escape scroll.
Added missing monster girls to the Give Up event dialogue. They now react to the player giving up and are removed from the party appropriately.
Added encounter repel item.
Added repel, lure and encounter decreaser to the dodgy tent shop.
Added missing skill cut ins for monster girls that didn't have them set for their special moves.

Added ghostly voice to pyramid sanctum when gate is opened to lean into the gates being seals lore.
Retconned the dialogue about gate guardians inside the pyramid gate and replaced it with vague dialogue alluding that the Hellhound was no normal hellhound.

Changed the world map so that the bridge to the mansion is no longer randomly broken (to avoid confusion) it is now possible to visit the mansion before talking to Chen, however you need the key he gives you to get inside.
Reduced the chance of smoke bomb skill causing blind from 50% to 35%
Discovered the join event for the Doppel has errors (it recruits the dragon girl for some reason) and fixed it
Fixed situation where guard in pastown mayors house could trap you in the storage room (need to check other visustella event save location commands as it doesn't work properly)
Fixed the zombie girl showing her affection /100 when it is out of 150

The mobile controls and buttons have been improved to include buttons for all scenes, the game should be fully playable on mobile without issue now.

Added "friendship bracelet" item which doubles chance to cure a monster after battle, it can be purchased at the party inn. It can only be equipped by the main character.

Improvised Weapons now each have a unique skill attached to them that can only be used when the weapon is equipped. Using the AP system, you can master the skill by using the weapon in battle and earning enough AP points. Once you've mastered the skill, you can use it without having the weapon equipped!

The Goldeka Card Beasts tournament has been overhauled and fixed. Please try to break it!

Improved performance in some areas, especially achievement triggers and other background events.
Improved behaviour of boat to stop players getting stranded after teleporting or loading saved games, it will now reset either to its original position or docking locations specified on the islands depending on where you are when you leave locations. It is a bit of a dirty fix but it'll stop frustrating situations for now until we can implement a better solution.
Goldeka port can now be re-entered from the boat dock if you decide to dock there or just want to re-enter the city.
Added Goldeka Port to the teleport menu for faster access to the boat spawn location.
More Fixes to TeleStones being able to be used during special scenes which would cause them to break.
Escape Scrolls have been adjusted and fixed in many places, they should work as intended in all dungeon locations now.
Game now correctly shows an icon on the task bar and window.
Current Known Issues to be fixed in follow up updates:
Story Skips are still disabled as they are not functioning correctly, after much work, we've made the decision to push the update without this function for the time being. It is far too buggy for us to push out just yet. There is a lot that we need to change in the back end in order to get it working more smoothly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Actions in the Cheat Room may still cause bugs or strange things to happen during the story. (having certain characters before you are supposed to and etc.) We'll continue to patch it when issues are discovered.
For the time being, we have disabled the ability to recruit boss characters in the cheat room to avoid it causing conflicts during the story, once we've fixed some of the backend systems we'll be able to enable this function.
Some story dialogue CGs are missing flavour, more flavour text and etc will come in further updates. Especially we will be going back and touching up some cutscenes and dialogue to make them a bit more impactful.

A Complete Graphical Overhaul to make the game look more unique.

Hotfix Update 4f (14/12/2023)
Changelog:
Fixed TeleStone not being usable on the world map.
Fixed teleports being disabled at the GenCorp monitoring station but not turned off when you complete the area.
The guard in the goldeka palace now stays to the left of the door after letting you in, instead of standing in the middle of the hallway, as originally intended.
The guards at nyuuville now stand in the correct place if you return, one of them wasn't saving their location correctly.

Changelog:
More fixes to sneaky snakes quest, talking to the guard inside the palace should now finally fix the quest for those on old saves.
After
speaking to the guard inside the palace, to find the first thrall, speak to the Guard by the "whipping post", this should confirm the fix.
Made the lost ant girl in the a bit easier to see, she's now moving and runs between the trees that she was originally hiding behind. which will hopefully be more obvious. She was too well hidden previously.
The Ant Queen and Quest Log now tells you more directly where to find the lost ant girl to avoid the quest being frustrating.
Added one more objective to the "Lamia Threat" quest to make it clear you should speak to the Mummy again before leaving the pyramid, after defeating the hellhound.
Fixed Text in the "Lamia Threat" quest telling you to report to the Queen in Goldeka after the pyramid when actually you need to speak to the Mayor in Oasis first.
Fixed some party members not being removed correctly if you give up.

Ant Girls, The Queen Ant and the Lamia Queen can now be encountered and recruited. They currently have one h-scene each.
Added more main story content that moves on from Goldeka to a new area.
Quest Tracking for the main quest and other side quests is now fully functional.
Added "The North Cave" - This area is where you will encounter the Ant Girls as well as transition into the northern part of the map later in the story.
The Northern part of the world map can now be accessed after a certain point in the main quest, there are a couple of accessible locations however a lot of places will be further fleshed out in update 5.
Added "The Cheat Room" - This is a special room that can be accessed via a special item you can obtain in the beginning of the game. Only intended for those that want to cheat, sandbox or skip parts of the story.

Current Known Issues to be fixed in follow up updates:
Story Skips and Monster Recruitment in the Cheat Room are not accessible for now as it requires more work in order to function smoothly, it'll be added in a follow up patch over the next week or two once we've fixed some of the issues with it.
New monster girls need more flavour text, will add in "hotfix" follow up updates.
There are still some missing skills and items in places that would benefit from more.
The way escape scrolls work is still a bit wonky, will be fixed soon or potentially removed.
Some story dialogue CGs are missing for flavour, will add more flavour text and etc in next updates. Especially will go back and touch up some cutscenes and dialogue to make them a bit more impactful.

Very similar to MGQ Paradox. The gameplay is fun and art is really good. The only complaints that I have are that there isn't that much variety in the h-scenes and recruiting the monster girls is based on RNG, so it would take a while to recruit every single one if you're unlucky.
MGI is a really unfortunate game like I really want to like the game it is clear that it want to be its own take on MGQ Paradox but... When I first picked up the game sometime back I dropped it and never understood why. Then I picked it up the other day and the first cave was what reminded me why I dropped it. Goodness to say that the game feels cheap. not in the "Budget cuts" kind of way more in the game throws annoyances that slowly begin to add up. Like the first cave (pre party members) where you run into fox girls who can lower your accuracy alongside bat girls who can straight up stunlock you into a quick death (it was why I initially dropped it). Like this alone paints a bad omen for the rest of the game as enemies can also get that bad. Then there's party members a lot of them require repeated battles to get them which is fine but then there's ones who require stipulations all for members that may or may not be good. Shoutouts to the Doppleganger girl who charges 2000g from you initially, brings you into a semi-tough fight, then charges another 2000g to recruit her. I was lucky that the Bee girls from the previous dungeon did not want to be cured so I had to grind on Easy mode until I was able to cure enough otherwise I would straight up be broke compared to the close to broke I currently am. Even then the Dopplegirl only knows one attack which leads to another issue with the party members. They're just not enough. Like there's a lot of party members that the game showers you in but their movepools are often extremely shallow, take too long to get into their roles, or their levels are not adequate for the challenges ahead. shoutout to the lvl10 dryad obtained in a forest with lvl 17 wolves. Or Millenia who you obtain before going into an area where on normal difficulty or above, the enemies are fucking IMMUNE to her fire attacks making her useless out the gate especially since you get her at lvl 8 while enemies are starting to go around lvl 15 and her generic attack does fuck all. again shoutout to my Bee girl grind session that basically overleveled me. Which introduces a new issue, It is often a gamble whether or not a new party member is worth investing into due to their very limited/unknown learnsets. Again Millania is a good example since she starts off with fire attacks, a sleep move, and a drain attack with diminishing returns. It's bullshit. Another gripe I have is with the game's pocket castle counterpart. Which tries to balance it despite MGQ already having it balanced by it not immedeately being useful since you both need to recruit the right girls but you also have to participate in a game long quest chain to keep the shops from falling off in usefulness. And While the hotel is basically a free heal, you only get the free heal in the overworld meaning either you have to exit dungeons to heal while the risk of getting jumped can happen at any time all while dungeons getting progressively longer and longer as the game continues so it essentially becomes a topper before going into real danger. So in this counterpart you now have to pay for hotel heals alongside party affection being unable to grow from battling so now it's even more apparent that these party members are hscene dispensers that you have to throw their preferred currency to get their one scene and then fuck off with them. The companions don't give items at affection thresholds and all require 100 affection whether or not it makes sense for them to have that high of one. Then you have the story which feels like it's going through the motions as different things just happen like for example to cross the border you need to go to this guy who will make a counterfeit passport if you find some rare artefact from the graveyard pass the mountains. Once there you run into Millenia whose trying to open the barrier tells you "it's no use" fucks off and when you exit the graveyard you get arrested by the nearby kingdom for being a sympathizer. The nun in your party who totally isnt the mysterious succubus breaks you out and cuddles with you in bed before vanishing with the nun returning and out of nowhere gives you a blowjob as if nothing happened. once you go back to the grave and interact with the door millenia comes back, gets pissed fights you and once you win she shoves you through the window which isn't blocked by a magical barrier like the main door and then just lampshades it as if I just hadn't went through a roller coaster just to access a roadblock when the solution was simple all along. Like I get the window thing was a joke but it feels like most of the game is like this. This game again I want to like it but It's extremely annoying to play and unrewarding to boot.
I like the game, the scenes with monster girls as well as the battles with them, the art was great, I hope you continue with more updates and I wish there were more scenes with tentacles and footwork hehe.
I think that's a really good Monster Girl Quest- Paradox-like but with some few new ideas. A good story, good artworks, good dials. The only thing that made me put only 4 stars is the fact there is no foot content (except a little footjob).
Current version being reviewed is version 0.3. Yeah if I compare this to the game that inspired it unfortunately this game is only 3/5 at the moment for me. The story is meh Spoiler and the whole "mystery succubus" is very obvious who they are the first time you see them yet it's sort of played like you don't know for some reason. I guess the only mystery is how the dynamic works as in whether she's intentionally tricking you or unaware of her nature and it turns out to be the latter. there's also pretty much just to be one or two plot points happening at a time whereas in other games you'd have other characters doing their own thing at the same time as you making you feel like part of something bigger. The side quests just seem to be "find a specific item(s)" with a vague description of what the girl wants. It'd be nice to have side quests with more substance in the future whether that being story or otherwise. I'd say the hybrid girl stuff is a step in the right direction as you explore an abandoned facility and read some notes to see what went down and then you find the hybrid girls to fight and recruit. The gameplay is pretty much just generic rpgmaker stuff which is a big letdown compared to how fun and customisable Paradox is in comparison. Speaking of which some characters barely seem to have any moves. The doppelganger seems to have exactly 1 skill and doesn't seem to gain any even after leveling her up like 10ish levels. The game would have benefited from the job/race system in Paradox to spice up encounters and give more customisability and purpose for each girl in combat. I can enjoy the game even if the combat isn't really worth taking seriously though so it's not really a big priority to me in the grand scheme of things. The devs might also update the skills for monster girls at a later date aswell. The biggest letdown for me personally is the girls as they mostly seem to fall into the category of what I'd consider to be "cosplayers" or "very basic". They're mostly human shaped and human sized, no small or massive ones outside of the sandworm who just turns out to have a regular woman for a tongue with a few monster appendages like wings, ears or tails and the like. The mimic is just a whole woman in a box with tentacles she can control. At the time of posting you're not going to find very many "monsterous" monster girls either. No undead with zombie like skin or girls that have more monsterous parts than human. It mostly seems a little basic for my tastes. I feel like most monster girls in this game are 80% humanoid or contain and entire human woman within their design. I hope they add more monsterous monster girls like centaurs types with unconventional bottom halves (top half woman bottom half monster) or regular monsterous monster girls but as it stands it seems to be appealing to more vanilla tastes so I guess if you're into that this is pretty good for you but for me the benefit of monster girls is the variety of body types and such and this game seems to be a little lacking in that regard as it stands. With that being said this game is still in development so perhaps the more monsterous girls will come later on after they'ved eased regular players into it but personally I'm not too hopeful that this will change especially with this game being on steam and patreon which is possibly limiting the sorts of stuff they could have. The art is also pretty nice. Each girl seems to only have 1 scene each with slight variations based on whether it's a loss scene or a relationship scene. This is fine as they're on a budget so it's best spread between multiple girls but I hope they maybe consider adding extra scenes for main characters. I'm also a fan of X-Ray shots so seeing more of those would probably be nice. One negative thing is that the cum shots seem to be incredibly thin for some reason like the MC is shooting rain droplets out of his cock. Maybe they tried to go for realism or something but I think it looks a little odd in a NSFW game but maybe that's just me. It'd also be nice to have sex sfx during scenes. They seem to have a few here and there but the sound mixing seems to be poor causing the BGM to drown out the entire sound even when it's set to 10 and the sound effects are set to like 70. That being said I'm sure he'll fix that in the future. There's a few bugs and things that need changing here and there but I'm almost 100% confident things will get fixed or added. To name a few: The cum sfx is just the default rpgmaker poison sound effect which is distracting and not very good. There's no real gallery of sorts. You can go to the tavern and increase your relationship with a monster girl to 100 to get a non-lethal variant of a monster girl scene with slight variations but you can't get scenes like the lilla night sex scene because it happens outside of a fight. You also can't get the defeat scenes from unique recruitable side quest girls unless they reappear later on as a random encounter but the dev will probably add locations for these girls at some point. Personally I see this game as a more vanilla and "safe" take on the monster girl genre. Perhaps I'm just corrupted lol. I'll keep an eye on this though because if they fix a few things and add more monsterous girls to the ranks then I'd definitely bump it up to a 4/5.
