Muscle-brained Shrine Maiden Kanna Crisis in the Shinobi Village

Overall rating 9/10 A great 2D sidescrolling beat-em-up adult game This is a relatively small and short game. I think I completed it in about an hour or two and this is then also reflected in the limited content the game has Story wise you kind of are just tossed in the middle of a generic two female warriors are going somewhere together and they end up having to save a village from a demon or something that has taken it over so not very good story. You don't know much about the game world, the characters or the villains Gameplay which is why I rated it so highly is where this game does shine though. The combat feels great, think of Streets of Rage or something similar but then with adult animations as part of the enemy attacks One thing I always hate is when adult game devs make a 2D sidescroller and the h-content is simply like either a reward for winning the level or is only there when you hit 0 HP and is the game over animation. I hate it when adult games do this. Sidescrollers are at their best when the adult animations are a part of the combat And in Shrine Maiden Kanna that is very much the case, each enemy has a grapple they can do even when your characters are full HP and can then initiate a variety of H-attacks. There is also clothing durability so that certain attacks will undress the characters which is a great touch. Some enemy h-attacks even have a specific animation where they will rip off the character's panties before starting the h-attack which is again a great touch Now this is a small game so don't expect a vast array of animations. Most enemies in the game reuse the same animations so in total there are probably about 10-20 different animations. So not super much but again it is a small and short game as well so that in itself is not a problem. Especially when the animations that are there are top notch If the enemy cums inside the characters they will even have cum leaking out of them afterwards which again is a great touch. A bit disappointing that the cuming itself actually doesn't have any visual effects. It has an animation phase but no cum effect The animations that the game does feature have good variety between them and there are even a few involving the female enemies which can initiate a lesbian rape attack. No futa though for the futa fans out there. All the content here is either male on female or female on female. The male includes humans, monster turtles, a humanoid squid and a 4 armed demon boss Mechanically though the h-content is actually extremely complex, shockingly so for how short the game is and I imagine the technical side of the game is actually where the bulk of the development went The playable characters have a faint mechanism when their HP reaches 0. you have 3 free revives though and how it works is if the character faints the self revive has to charge up. During this time all h-animations have a faint variation as well and it can freely switch between them. So if the character is no faint there is a transition animation when they faint and then the rest of the animations are the faint version. While the reverse is also true they can wake up during the h-attack and this has its own unique transition for each of the h-attacks. I don't think I've played any games where the technical side was this well developed Enemies can even grapple a character and then carry them to a nearby table or tree stump and then place them on top of it before initiating an h-attack. Doing so makes it harder to escape from the attack So you can understand why despite how short the game is, despite how few animations the game has and despite the bad story why I still give this game a 9/10 as the technical side for the h-content is absolutely crazy how well they have developed it! This dev only has two games with this one being their latest one and their last one being from 2017 so it could be awhile before we see another game from them but hopefully their next one is even better In any case I highly recommend playing this game if you like female protagonist sidescrollers or beat-em-ups. This game is quite short but has great h-content and the combat mechanics are quite fun if you are into the Streets of Rage style combat systems

Well made and fun, but unfortunatly, also pretty short. The combat isn't complicated, it's more a h-game than a beat-em up. Some more enemy variety would have been appreciated. There are many, don't get mewrong, but they all work kind of the similarly. The h-moves are different, but different variations for thesmall poll of positions. The game might have been released too soon, as the potential is very, very high, and the effortpoured in the making is palpable. Overall, I enjoyed my time very much. The replayability is fine. This is avery clear 8/10, but with the potential of getting higher. Recommended!
