My New Canvas is an adult visual novel by AO Project, built in Ren'Py with animated 3D CG art. You play a male protagonist who hides in a quiet library, then is pulled into an unknown dimension by a glowing tome. Waking in a forest under an enigmatic witch, he finds his soul merged with a bullied young man. Trapped in that body, he must live the other person’s life and search for scattered magic books to get home, meeting new girls along the way.
Development is ongoing in the current v0.0.1 release, dated August 14, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English and Spanish language options, and is uncensored. The latest changelog notes an initial zone release.

On an ordinary night, you'd rather take shelter in the quiet library than deal with the judgmental gaze of the world. But your routine breaks when you stumble upon a mysterious tome: a golden glow consumes the floor and, in the blink of an eye, you're transported to an unknown dimension. Waking up in a forest under the gaze of an enigmatic witch, you discover a shocking truth: your soul has merged with that of a young man from this world who suffered from bullying. Now, trapped in this new body, you're forced to take on his life. Your only way back home depends on finding a series of scattered magic books. However, this new place offers you the chance to start over and meet incredible girls along the way... after all, a new life doesn't sound so bad, does it? Will you manage to return to your dimension, or will you end up preferring this new life?
