Flowchart
I tweaked the UI to better match the island's collective mental state.
Immersive Mode
(Girl View)
The short version: it's a new full-screen character hub with events, 'About' entries, and video portraits. It is currently an experimental feature, so it's still held together entirely with duct tape and hope.
Game menu visuals
Requested Yes/No Option
Developer Logs
For the three of you who actually care about how the sausage is made, I added a Developer Logs toggle. Enable this, and from time to time, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at my development process.
Dual Video Player
For the discerning connoisseur who requires simultaneous visual stimuli. We shall not judge. You can split the screen vertically or horizontally, independently control each video, and instantly swap their positions. It even includes an 'Adjust' mode for not pixel-perfect positioning.
DJ your own cursed audio-visual experience.
Map Repaint
The island was overdue for a renovation. I’ve been staring at the old version for too long and realized it was causing actual eye strain.
New Locations
Clothing Store & Mall
Living Room
Chess
Writing dialogues was getting hard, so I procrastinated by building a highly competitive board game instead. You can play ranked and climb the leaderboards too. Don't comment why, because I don't know.
Sliding Puzzle
Slide tiles to reveal... images. It's the digital equivalent of trying to fold a map.
Bingo
Compete against AI in a classic game of Bingo. Yes, Bingo. I like Bingo.
QoL
Storage:
Your room's closet is now a closet. Groundbreaking.
Inventory Sorting:
Your inventory now magically auto-sorts, placing boosters and quest items first.
New Love Booster:
A pricey new item that doubles gift efficiency.
New PC Utility:
A 'Fix Rollback & Saving' button for when the game's code has a seizure.
Preferences & Optimization
Custom List Rendering:
Rewrote list rendering from scratch with custom draw calls and virtualization. The achievements screen can now handle thousands of entries without breaking a sweat. Genuinely the hardest thing I've built for this game. I'm telling you because I need someone to know.
Color Grading:
Tweak the colors manually or use presets. Make the game as bleak or vibrant as your soul feels.
UI Management:
Hide UI elements you don't care about to avoid Korean MMO screen clutter. Reclaim those precious pixels for what truly matters.
Colorize Inventory:
Gift slots now match the recipient's favorite color.
Text Appearance:
Switch the dialogue effect from the classic typewriter to a gentler dissolve or lighten. Dissolve is the new default, because I like it the best.
Save Details:
Ever stare at your save files and think, 'Which is which?' I've been there. To help out, thumbnails are now clearly labeled with the in-game day
(since v0.2.2)
, runtime, and version. For those who have a photographic memory or simply prefer a cleaner look, you can toggle this off in the settings.
Save Incompatibilities:
Implemented several functions to save your... saves? Saveception.
Shader-Based Outlines:
Added custom text outlines shader for better control and visuals. If your device starts making noises like it's about to take off, you can disable it in the preferences by toggling the 'Advanced' button. It shouldn't be a problem, though... I hope.
Other Additions
Added higher resolution icons for monitors with resolutions above 1080p. They are chosen automatically so other machines aren't burdened with the extra load.
Sprinkled in some new achievements to give you that dopamine hit. Or is it just me who needs that?
More character portraits now exist. One more line in changelog? Check.
Shoved in some new PC and phone wallpapers to make this list look longer. Perception is reality.
Bug Fixes
[Skipping Stones]
Framerate Independence:
Turns out tying the minigame speed to framerate means players with 240Hz monitors were playing a hyper-speed, borderline impossible version of the game. You're welcome for the accidental Dark Souls mode. It now runs on actual time instead of frames.
[Skipping Stones]
Geometry Fix:
Fixed a critical math bug where the target zone would shatter reality and auto-fail you if it crossed the 0/360-degree boundary. I deleted half the convoluted logic and replaced it with a single function that actually understands circles. Less math, fewer bugs. Who knew?
Q: Will my old save file work with this update?
A:
You like gambling? Let's call it a
50/50.
Think of it as hitting hard pity in a gacha.

This update focuses more on technical improvements and enhancements rather than dialogues. However, I've included a lot of manually crafted animations that I hope will make up for the lack of dialogues to some extent.

The framework is there, just needs more content. General look of the game is nice and girls are perfect with varying proportions and body types. The scenes tho are really what got me since there's more ecchi/outcourse scenes than hentai rn (all animated nicely). I've always preferred ecchi over hentai so this is perfect for me. It's like the dev knows my every personal preferences :0. Pussy focused and doesn't leave out some tummy appreciation So yeah, just needs more content and would love a collectibles system

EDIT: The game is likely abandoned, but it's fun for what it is. It's not trying to be something super serious, it's a very lighthearted, hand out with cute girls, slice of life experience. the general gist if you hang out with 4 girls (1 additional has just been introduced) everyday and build your relationship points with them. At certain stat points you'll get a special scene that builds towards an H-scene. It's VERY anime, but it doesn't overstay it's welcome. The MC is a total goof, so don't expect him to anything but. Oh, and spend a few minutes quick-saving/loading on blackjack to make some money, just do a quick-reload if you don't win. You'll have all the money you need for gifts to upgrade stats before you know it. It's technically a sandbox, but you can use a map to teleport to where the girls are. I normally hate sandbox games, but this wasn't annoying.

In a world where most games of this genre these days need to have a dark psychological twist with a broken mc in an attempt to clone you know what... it is so nice to see a game that's just "yeah cool chill island adventure go have fun." The characters are all pretty and the animations in this game are all *chefs kiss* I mean really a cut above. Great start, if this keeps its direction it will be very enjoyable. Maybe let the mc relax a little tho lmao, bro is a bit uptight.

Version: v0.2 This one's a cut above most RenPy + Koikatsu games. First and foremost, the dev seems to have a good grasp on how to use the Character Studio, so everything looks very nice. Second, they integrated a lot of interactive elements into the regular VN gameplay, which is always a nice touch. Of course, not everything is perfect. At the beginning, some of the English seems kind of poor. I found my self getting confused over the wording a few times early on. This seems to not be an issue later into the game though. Secondly, the Blackjack is just a tad janky. Two busts counts as a win, and more importantly, aces don't behave properly by reducing when a bust occurs. Overall, the girls are fun and I'm excited to see where the dev goes with this game.

It's not bad, the renders are nice, the story is somewhat generic but entertaining and the girls look good. "But it has a lot of black screens and it makes me anxious..." , Yes, it has some black screens that show part of the story, nothing that hasn't been seen in other games, and unlike many others this game has a detailed screen of what to do with each girl and the "rewards" to obtain. For now there is almost no content, I recommend giving it a chance and supporting the dev but wait a little longer until it has enough content.
ALTundertaker2024-11-23★★★★★
I think this has potential. It's definitely not re inventing the wheel but I do enjoy all the characters and the animations/posing are of quality. Story is still developing but I don't put much weight on story as long as I feel like there's some decent to good relationship progression with the girls. There is a little bit of grind so that you can buy the girls gifts (which you need to do to progress) but I found it very manageable and I was able to quickly have way more money than I needed. If this continues in the path that it is currently on, I could see myself quite enjoying this. There isn't a bunch of content as of now but there is enough to give it a try.
