About My Runaway Girl
My Runaway Girl is an adult visual novel made with Ren'Py by shificz. It uses 2D CG art and follows Toshio, a part-time clerk at a convenience store, who agrees to let Miyoko live with him if she helps maintain the household. The story is inspired by Shimesaba's Higehiro, and both characters have personal problems. Player choices decide whether they support each other, form a different bond, or face outside consequences. The planned full game includes fifteen chapters, optional stories able to influence the central narrative, and three routes centered on male-protagonist romance and sandbox-style decisions.
The current build is Prototype a3, released on September 25, 2022. Its changelog marks it as an initial prototype release, so development is ongoing rather than finished. The game is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac, and is written in English without censorship.

Inspired by Shimesaba's Higehiro (2017-2018), My Runaway Girl is the story of Toshio—a part-time convenience store clerk who lets Miyoko stay with him in exchange for household upkeep. Of course, both have their respective issues. Will they overcome their hardships together? Will a different relationship blossom? Or... will someone find out and punish them for their decisions? What happens is entirely up to your choices! The full game will contain 15 chapters, side stories that may affect the main plot, and three unique routes. You can pursue romance, friendship, or.... something sinister.
