My Strange Internships
About My Strange Internships
My Strange Internships is a 2DCG Ren'Py adventure by Ugly Bastard Entertainment, built as a parody of the My Hero Academia universe. The world's trusted professional heroes are losing public support while crime adapts, so the government creates a six-month internship program that gives student heroes provisional licenses to patrol, respond, and capture without pay. Top performers earn a prize based on heroic acts and popularity. You play BK, a late-thirties man in debt to the local mob who inherits an abandoned dojo and is hired to train Ochako. The game mixes point-and-click and sandbox play with multiple endings, and its themes include parody, corruption, and male domination.
The current build is Prologue Part 1, released July 2, 2026. Development is ongoing, and the latest changelog lists an initial release. It runs on Windows, uses English text, and is uncensored.
Developer's description
The age of heroes is cracking. Professional heroes are losing public trust. Crime isn't disappearing — it's adapting. And the government needs bodies on the street without breaking the budget. Their solution: a six-month extended internship program. Student heroes from every accredited school receive provisional field licenses. They patrol. They respond. They capture. And technically — since they're students — nobody has to pay them. To keep them motivated, the top 10 performers at the end of the season receive a significant cash prize, ranked by a combination of heroic acts , and public popularity. The rest go home with experience and a certificate. It's sold as opportunity. It's structured as free labor. Spoiler A parody set in the My Hero Academia universe. All Might stepped down sooner than anyone expected. Crime didn't wait for a replacement. The government's answer was simple: flood the streets with student heroes under provisional licenses. No salaries—only rankings. At the end of the internship season, the Top 10 interns split a government-funded prize pool. You are BK, a man in his late 30s drowning in debt to the local mob. After inheriting an abandoned dojo, an unexpected opportunity appears when Uravity needs a personal trainer because her official mentor can no longer give her the attention she needs. Train Ochako hard enough to reach the Top 10, earn the prize money, clear your debts, and discover how six months of training slowly change both of your lives.
