A well made platformer, Why not 5 stars you ask? Well, the bad save system causing you to lose progress and replay everything, the lowrez unskippable H-scenes are kinda annoying. In combat you charm the enemy and have H-scenes in dominating pose to restore your health to full, so that's nice. The controls are f*cking horrendous and you CANT REMAP THEM! That's the main reason I can't give a perfect rating.

Good game all around. Solid art and style. I was impressed by the more creative and interesting sequences towards the end of the story that break up the otherwise very simple gameplay. I love games that know they have a small scope and do what they can with that instead of overreaching. One main criticism I have is that the "sub" sex scenes are often not very sub at all. Like, there are some where you mating press the other chick as a submissive choice. This gets resolved a little with enemies in later levels, but still felt a little unfortunate as a sub myself. The other thing is that the hit detection on the ground attacks can be really annoying. Enemies will just fall out of your combos and the movement is sticky enough that repositioning mid combo is tough. The air attacks feel much better. Your first hit is a lingering move with a nice hitbox, and you can delay the hits to drag opponents down based on how they move when you hit them. It feels more interactive that just pressing the button until the enemy is defeated. Just giving the attacks more of a hitbox in the back would help this game a lot.

Another modern classic, in my books. The gameplay is really fun. Combat is satisfying, and upgrading your character over the course of the game adds a nice level of depth to it as well. The pixel art is very solid. It's ever-so-slightly on the lower-detail end, but still very very good. This applies to both the environments and characters. The characters are sexy, typically with agreeable proportions. Nothing crazy, but certainly agreeable. The sound design is also solid. Again, nothing to write home about, but that's not main point of sounds. They do a good job of giving feedback and supporting the actions. The only complaint I have is that in some places there's something that sounds to me like a dog barking, and is pretty confusing. The NSFW is decent. I always love the mechanic of defeating the enemy, and THEN engaging with them. It fits well into the gameplay, instead of being more of an aside. There are a good number of enemies, and each of them has a top- and bottom-position, which totals to a good number of animations. The animations are slightly tame themselves, and are usually something like a looping 1-second animation that just speeds up, but. Overall, it's a game that's fun to play, and has agreeable NSFW. Looking forward to more stuff from this dev!

One of the best porn sidescroller I played. Tips: - Do the tuto. It may help you A LOT to understand some mechanics. - Multiple attacks after jump makes the jump higher/longer (and it is not in the tuto somehow) - There are some stuff to figure out but nothing crazy - Take your time. It is easy (mostly) and fun. Pros: - Many animations, many enemies - The tutorial makes it way easier than usual sidescroller where you have to find everything yourselves - You get a shop after 1 or 2 levels (I don't remeber) that makes everything easier (speed and strength) - Usuable Gallery, with hints (small blurry pics) about what to find Cons: - It is a platform game. To defeat a boss you may need you to try 3-5 times. The last fights take quite some time if you're not talented (I'm not XD) - Simple story. The "twists" are cute though - The music is ok but I would prefer something more casual, less serious

A few things stop this game from being great in my eyes. Gameplay : Nayla's castle has two strengths as a sidescroller. 1) it sets up some fun jump-dash and slide puzzles. 2) it has a charm mechanic that lets YOU initiate sex with creatures in the level. However where the game lacks as a sidescroller are setting up the ambiance/theme to rooms and in combat. There's minimal set up or narrative to explain where you're at, and there appears to be no weapons in the game except for your punch spam or mid-air punch spam. Erotica : Although I love that this game allows you to choose a top/bottom or dom/sub position for most sex scenes, the sex scenes themselves are repetitive and flavourless. Once you see the position and a single motion in a sex scene, you've seen it all; there's no dialogue, escalation, or anything else. Worse, there's very little variation in kinks or even positioning between one mob and the next. Compare this to a game like Mystic Knight Maya where there are phases to a scene, different sounds and emotes for what's going on, different kinks from creature to creature, and sometimes even an epilogue to the scene and you'll see one area where I wish to see improvement in Nayla's Castle. Overall, I'd love to see more variety in the gameplay and erotic content.

Review of Version 1.0. A side scroller with a futanari as the playable character. A very good game in which you get a lot of variety in scenes where the protagonist is either a normal girl getting fucked or is a futa and fucks another normal girl. There are only a handful of scenes where the main character fucks something with a dick or gets fucked while having a dick. So an acceptable amount of gay sex for me. Cons: -The gallery is a bit annoying since you have to skip normal animations to get to the sexy ones. -No going back to the "hub"-bathroom once you entered a level. -The last level is a mess. I HATE levels where you have to do a lot of shit and progress in one life. So if you like me die in the part where she gets the sword, you have to do ALL again. I almost raged, but I decided not to finish the game. I will not waste time with such a dumb "game" mechanic. Pros: +Nice Pixel animations. +Its all in all very decent (Decent Music and sound) (Decent Combat) (Decent Enemy Design) (Decent Level Design) (Decent Art) (Decent "Base" Building) It does nothing great, but also does nothing bad. Which is always the better choice then trying for great and ending with shit. I think its a good game. You get through it fast and you will have an enjoyable time with it. But the adventure ended for me at the end part. But this is MY opinion.

[Reviewed v0.8 as of 2/17/2022] Nayla's Castle is a nice little game. I wish it played up some fetishism other than futas a little bit more, but otherwise, it's alright in my book. Combat is 2D side-scrolling with a little hopping and dashing added in. There's also a slightly longer-ranged "charm" attack in your repertoire, which on many enemies can result in you giving them an immediate sex-grapple KO. This is nice because you can also skip the sexy fun times of the grapple if you're in a hurry, which you might be if you have to repeat any difficult sections and just want to clear the easy opponents. The game isn't super hard, but there's a couple spots here and there that could give players a slight struggle. On that note, my only combat design complaint is the bat-winged, black-haired witch that casts triplet black-hole ranged attacks. I'm not quite sure what you're supposed to do when fighting these gals, so I usually just hit them once, wait a moment for them to reset from it, then hit them once again, slowly, ad infinitum. Sometimes they repel me and I have to reset, but this slow method is the best thing I could figure out to avoid their teleport hurting me or their triplet attack somehow insta-killing me, and I still found myself often running back to a previously defeated enemy to recover my health. Oh, yeah, I guess I should have mentioned that the sex animations heal your character, so there's plenty of incentive to get some mileage on your futa's D. The pixel animations themselves are all fairly good. I have one complaint about the animations, which is that the cumming sequence produces random white pixels shooting out around the characters, like Sonic the Hedgehog's rings if he was a serial sex offender. It would have been nice if cumming was part of each animation rather than a separately generated component, but that may also be part of the secret as to why the game has so many animations in it already. Almost every enemy, sans bosses, have two animations depending on if you want to be the sub or the dom, which is an option you're allowed to choose before engaging in the sex. There are also defeat animations for bosses, although I didn't really bother with watching those save for the first one when I lost to the djinn. On that note, don't bother trying to charm bosses. You'll need to use the charm button on one boss, but you'll probably recognize when that moment comes, so just wail on all the others until that point. There are also occasional flashes of CG stills made for certain animations, although to some extent it appears the selection for which animations get these or not were made randomly. As the game is not finished at the time of reviewing, this may be addressed later, but the gallery menu does not seem to give any room for many more CGs. It's honestly no skin off my bones -- the CG stills themselves are not exactly superbly drawn, and while they did give a nice perspective shift on animations soon to be watched, there are a couple that could do with a retouch to make limbs proportionally scaled or other parts appropriately shaped. All in all, it's a nice game with enjoyable sex animations. It won't blow your mind, but give it a shot, and you might find it a pleasant wank.

v0.8 A side scrolling game where you play a futanari trying to escape the castle of a succubus. The gameplay is very minimal with a punch, double jump, and dash. The art and the animations are very good so I want to watch how this develops, but at the moment the gameplay is not great and some of the jumping puzzles need some tuning as I got stuck at one point.

This game's all right. It has good pixel art, though it gets repetitive quickly. You can pick between dominant and submissive for slightly different H scenes, which is nice. The platforming is fine, but it also isn't sexy, so all-in-all it's a pretty average game.

Well i am not FAN of hard pixel style game, i mean i like them but not when characters like 6x6 pix made. But honestly that was nice experience. You play as futa, win - fuck, lose - get fucked. Also MC looks like.... Gorillaz music band group?.. Nice pixel side scroller with futa/fem theme. Sound satisfy, ( liked bathroom scene sound with weird girl ). Animation is smooth and exciting somehow. You can choose between Submissive and Dominate root when H scene trigger. Bosses easy to beat, and progress is easy. Try it, teally fun)

Pretty awesome, the game seems well structured and the pixel art is on point with some really sexy and smooth animations. Giving the player different choices of sex poses is also pretty nice, it would be cooler if it had some gameplay utility tho. The only problem I had was the controls, I like my games one-handed, but for a broader audience, a remaping key option would be ideal.

(It's a demo after all) I mean, I really enjoyed it playing but controls have to be smoother. For my taste, mouse should not be included into a side-scroller game. Animations are good, sound effects are.. Classic? Needs options tab and better gallery. Overall it's a good game. I wil be waiting for the progress. Good luck dev!
