Essence Blade is an adult action game by Quidev, using the Others engine and a 2D CG animated visual style. It is a fantasy beat-em-up where you control a protagonist, gain upgrades, and meet monster girls. Adult themes are presented plainly, with transformation and fantasy elements shaping the encounters.
The game is in development at v0.4.0, released January 4, 2026. It runs on Windows and Android, supports English and Spanish, and is uncensored. The latest update adds the Underworld arena, three new foes (Imps, Demons, and Cerberus) with recolors, and the boss Tiamat, a dragon goddess of that realm. It also makes mana drops more frequent, gives the loading screen an animated diamond pattern, updates credits, and includes balance tweaks and fixes.

Combat & Defense
Jump is shorter, but movement in the air is now possible.
Running quick attack no longer pushes enemies; it helps continue combos.
Running heavy attack launches enemies far instead of upward.
Upward heavy attack connects more reliably.
Sideways heavy attack now performs a dash.
Heavy Attacks now cost 1 mana, Special Attack costs 3 mana.
When blocking, an energy sphere appears. It weakens when struck, leaving the player vulnerable, but regenerates after a short delay.
Enemies & Balance
Enemies rebalanced: overall health reduced.
Upon defeat, the game no longer pauses immediately. A random enemy glows pink and attempts to interact with the player (currently only goblins have a unique animation).
Revival is now cheaper: 10 essences instead of 50.

Complete visual rework of cards; card prices reduced.
Scoring and ranking system adjusted.
