Review: Never Trust Reality [v0.8] [NTRBULL] Overall Opinion Overall, the game is quite good and offers a massive amount of content. If you take the time to read everything, you can easily reach a minimum of 6 hours of playtime, which is a great surprise—I didn't expect to spend that much time on it. Story and Narrative Strengths: The writing of the corruption arc is very good. It's a true "slow burn," even though the action still kicks in fairly quickly, creating a nice balance. The game has a lot of charm, and having a specific "bully" for each female character perfectly sets the stage for the NTR theme. Pacing: While the plot is engaging, I noticed a significant slowdown in progression after a certain point (especially during Sophie's arc). This change of pace might be a deliberate choice needed for story and character development, but the shift is definitely noticeable. Weaknesses: The beginning lacks context. We don't know our past relationship history with our girlfriend (or the others), which hurts the initial immersion. Additionally, the character names are confusing at first (for example, the stepsister is named "BRAt," and it took me a while to realize she was actually Lily). Graphics and Art Direction Strengths: The visuals in the first half of the game are very clean. The character designs are great, with some nice animations, and I didn't notice any weird AI anomalies early on. I also want to highlight that the artwork during the climax/orgasm scenes is absolutely gorgeous. Weaknesses: There's a frustrating drop in quality starting around the middle of the game. It feels like a change in the AI image generation model: the rendering becomes way too "cartoony," less mature, and has much more smudging/artifacts compared to the earlier, highly professional-looking images. UI and User Experience (UX) The External App: This is a great idea. Having a dedicated app to see the upcoming stories and check the logs with feeling updates really helps track the plot. Outdated UI: As many have already mentioned, the overall interface could use an overhaul. The icons lack expressiveness and look too much alike, making it easy to get mixed up between the different apps. Lack of Visual/Audio Cues: With two different apps, it's easy to get lost. It would be great to add an indicator (like a little red dot) on the app we need to interact with to progress the story. Similarly, the small event notifications at the top of the screen go unnoticed because they lack a real visual pop-up and sound alert, especially when you're focused on the text at the bottom of the screen. "Send" Button Ergonomics: This button actually serves as the "Auto-chat" mode, which isn't intuitive at all at first. Furthermore, it desperately needs visual feedback: there is absolutely nothing indicating whether it is currently turned on or off, which often leads to confusion. Save System: The menu lacks an automatic naming system (e.g., Slot 1, 2, 3 ) or a simple "Save" button to avoid manually renaming every single file. It would also be incredibly useful to display the current story event name on the save file to help keep track of things. Bugs and Technical Issues Missing Images (Placeholder): I ran into a visual bug during a sequence (a dream with Sophie) where the generated images were missing, replaced by black screens saying "Place Holder." This is probably just an oversight specific to this current build, but it's worth mentioning. Chat Bug: In the chats, you sometimes have to back out of the conversation and re-enter for the dialogue to resume and advance the story. It's a small bug, but it quickly gets annoying. Text Scrolling (Whisper log): The auto-scroll doesn't track the latest line. It's always one line behind, which forces the player to constantly scroll or click manually. Gallery/Image Issue (including Whisper log): When you click multiple times to review different images, the game continues to scroll through dialogue lines in the background. This issue is also present in the Whisper log. Furthermore, every time you click on an image, it forcefully sends you all the way back to the bottom of the page, ruining the reading flow.

[0.7] It has some interesting aspects, and there are things to like about this, but there are also some glaring issues. The art is okay as far as AI phone games go. There is reasonable consistency and accuracy in the depiction of the scene. The game design ideas about the player being a separate meta entity from the MC is pretty interesting. This enables oblivious NTR in a phone game where player can view scenes that MC is not aware of. The plain text exchanges between characters are written quite well. They sound pretty natural and believable as text messages. Unfortunately, the Whispers ("hacked" content that players can see) are far more annoying to read. These are not text messages, but actual conversations, some kinda magic phone showing transcribed conversations and images of events. That's pretty great that players can view more classical "scenes" rather than just text exchanges. But these scenes come with a lot of mumbo jumbo immersive narration as [system] messages that blend in with the dialogue lines. It's pretty cool at first. But the formatting is atrocious. It's very hard to separate the dialogues from the narration if you reveal many lines at once. And believe me, the writing is pure LLM slop in these Whispers. You might want to just skim over it because it's extremely repetitive and cringe most of the time, but the way it's formatted makes it hard to speed read through it. The NTR has some decent progression in general, but the initial pacing jumps the gun. It basically begins with drugged up sex (at least in the route that I played). After that, there is some gradual changes in outfit and corruption. The gaslighting part (where girl lies and acts like a loving girlfriend while we the players know what she does behind MC's back) was done quite well. Overall, think the NTR aspect is well done. Personally, I considered this above average among NTR phone games up a certain point, but I could see deterioration as the game progressed. LLM outputs deteriorate when the context window grows past a certain amount. Homogenization in character archetypes and speech patterns. Context bleed through where characters say things they cannot know. Dialogues that don't really make sense. Repetition. Slop prose with excessive staccato pattern that constantly reinforces itself as context grows. Etc etc. Whether a growing context window was the cause or not, the end result is that it gets rather tiring to read through the Whispers (which is the main bulk of the game), especially when the formatting makes it hard to parse through this block of text.

A hugely mixed bag, but still worth playing. The story suffers from serious pacing issues. Immediately into the story, your gf is fucked by her boss. There is practically no build-up or anticipation, it just more or less happens. The one prelude to this event is actually very good, where he seems to spike her drink with something that makes her drowsy and horny. Here, the best aspect of the game shines: the inner conflict. This is great and something NTR_Bull excels at. However, the entire story could have been paced much better if after that event, the CEO very slowly builds your gf's arousal and attraction. But no, he just fucks her the next day. The sex scenes are very well-written, and the AI art works. That's about where the praise ends though. The UI is a mess and notifications will often lag behind. There are way too many peripheral stories. The little sister story has potential, but what's even the point of Nia, Daisy and Malik? I imagine these stories just take up an unnecessary portion of dev time. This game was released in Nov 2025 and they still go nowhere, and no one is particularly excited for them either. Another example of redundant scope creep. Nothing here moves the main plot of the MC-gf-CEO relationship forward in any way. On the topic of a lack of intersecting stories, there is zero interaction between the CEO and the MC, indirectly or otherwise. There are some vague hints at the CEO "wanting revenge," but that's about it. If he wants revenge, he certainly doesn't act like it. This game would greatly benefit if, for example, the CEO tried to mess with the MC through the gf. Or, the MC could smell something on his gf, but the gf would shrug it off. Just any interaction at all. Right now, it's as if the gf-MC and gf-CEO storylines run completely parallel to each other without ever touching. The gf says she's tired sometimes, but that's the only apparent consequence of the affair. In conclusion: story and pacing suffers but is upheld by great sex writing. This could have been a lot more. Because of the very generous amount of content, it gets 3/5 instead of 2/5.

Unlike a ton of phone clones, this one really caught my attention. - The idea with an AI phone is new and not overused. - The presentation and plot, while following pornologic, are not absurd—it's interesting to read and get to know the story. - The models and scenes are attractive and erotic. Basically, the biggest drawback for me is the interface flaws that haven't been addressed in several updates in a row. And that's why I'm lowering my rating. In any case, if the phrases NTR and phone simulator don't bother you, I recommend trying this game. rev based on ver. 0.6

Feel weaker and weaker honestly. When does the story take of? Also, we're now up to 6.5 and we still have the most shitty UI for the main feature. Does the dev expect people to believe he intended players to read simple white on black dump of text without a single effort in the coloring and layout department? And Not a single other app working since launch? Does he expect to spend an entire update simply to put together and fill out a social network fake off? The only thing that would make this game stand out and is its most if not only attracting trait, which is the "mysterious experimental smartphone" i guess, is nowhere to be seen. There is no feature worth mentioning around that. There's just 3 different places where the player do the exact same thing which is following a chat. 8 month after launch and the game still doesn't do what any other mobile games do from the beginning. And i won't even comment on the IA images which are not inherently bad, but we always get the same pose, repeated across multiple character, which basically all have the same body type. It get boring preeeeetty fast. It just feel lazy overall.

[Review based on game version: 0.5.3] CONS : *The story is the major downside to me. Due to very early blackmail, there's pretty much instant sex for the FMC with the villain. So it's an NTR without any build-up/corruption proggress. That's already a red flag for some NTR fans. *Also, after the blackmail and the first sex scene, the FMC becomes slutty way too fast. I honestly would not even classify this game with the "Corruption" tag. There goes another red flag for some NTR fans... *The "Hacked OS app" idea is pretty nice. But leads to a lot of back and forth clicks to navigate. The chats and elements there are messy, and with a hard-to-read font. Some elements there should be put together, to facilitate the navigation. *You can't advance chat messages with the keyboard, you need a mouse click every time. *There are some minor-bugs: - A lot of times you need to exit and re-enter the "WhatsUp chat app" to show the new messages notifications. - Some numbers of sex acts (like oral for example), that you see in the "Hacked OS app" do not match with what happened in the story. PROS : *The art is decent (can't say it's really better or worse than any other AI CG game, but good enough) and the game offers some basic animations. *The story doesn't have tons of characters. May be a CON for some people, but I prefer games without those tons of "friend" characters that the player end up not giving a shit about... *Most of the "Technical” part of the game is very solid. Compared to most of the similar "phone genera" games, this one has: - A good Save/Load system. - No CG gallery bugs or lag. - The game opens very fast. Conclusion : I can't really recommend the game for people that like a build-up corruption NTR story. But if you don't really mind this, go ahead and give it a try. My score : 5/10

I don't have much to add relative to Honestreviews' comments below, who pretty much nails it. The dialogues are trite, the predatory boss story has been done to death elsewhere and the art is at best average. The UI is slick, which is important for this sort of game, but there are too many apps- many non functional - and it's confusing which app to click on to continue the story. In an extremely crowded NTR phone genre, this one doesn't make much of an impression.

Never Trust Reality [v0.4.0] (made in Godot) The title hints at a cool plot twist. Maybe that will come in a future update (v0.5), along with some of the modules/apps that are not working yet and the missing SFX... oh yeah, and hopefully they will also eliminate the occasional display bug that shows up and doesn’t indicate where to go next. For now, you get a solidly written NTR phone-story that gives insight into what happens outside the chats via a high-tech modification of the phone’s OS. A super artificial intelligence scans the surroundings of the phones it is installed on and gives the player/MC/owner * hints and assistance to influence the course of the story with his gf Sophie . * it's inconsistently used in at least one module of the phone (Project E-1 [Sophie]) I took on the tedious task of playing through three out of four routes. Tedious because the "Developer Mode" -module has no fast-forward function, and even the "WhatsUp" -Chat fast-forward is rather slow. The lack of keyboard input, such as advancing text with the space bar, is another downside. "WhatsUp" -Chat decisions currently seem to have no story-impact apart from small textual variations. Maybe in the future they will influence the MC’s sub/dom attitude (leading to humiliation) or determine whether the MC himself becomes unfaithful. Right now, agency is only limited to Sophie’s storyline. As for the family, you can only toggle (upcoming) NTR on or off. Visually, we are once again served generic AI slop. There are animations, which is a plus, and the images generally match the described scenes quite well. Still, I found them bland and forgettable, probably because this same cookie-cutter anime style dominates so many mobile games. And the fact that Sophie’s boss (and the MC too) is equipped with a baseball-bat-sized baloney pony doesn’t help matters. I honestly do not understand why so many devs go for oversized, unnatural proportions. But hey, taste is subjective, so I will keep my mouth shut. With Never Trust Reality , only the future will tell whether it becomes something great or just joins the ranks of mediocrity. For now, I am rounding up to 4 stars as a bit of motivation.

This NTR game hit all the right buttons for me. It was really hard to walk away from. The character images are very good. The story so far is good. I've played a lot of NTR phone games and this is definitely in my top 3. Can't wait for more updates. Especially if it involves Nia being a Domme. Hehe

I really wanted to like this game. Compared to other games of this genre, it runs buttery smooth on my phone, the UI is pretty, and the mediums utilized for storytelling, such as the voice logs, the leaked chats etc. are very inventive. Lots of great things are going for it, even if the story escalates a bit too fast for my liking But how do I deal with the fact that I just don't find the character images appealing at all? They are not expressive. Almost always the same sultry expression by default. The dicks look like croissants. so long that the girls suck them without invading the owner's personal space.. The images feel like rough approximations of the scene. An image labelled as "swallow" is a woman with mouth wide open, with the seed all over her. I'm not fond of the character designs either. The AI itself isn't able to create unique faces for each person. Giving them generic-looking mostly dark hair and plain outfits on top of that only makes it worse. Overall, great game, but isn't serving its primary purpose for me

v0.6.5 Nice to see some nina content. Whisper logs seem to have more content in this update, well almost all lol. Just saw the human metrics lol. The other path was pretty good as well. v0.5.3- Not going to rate this update, it was just a vehicle to set things up for the next updates. It has some nice renders. v0.4.0 The story is pretty good so far for the path i've taken, but as stated by the dev we will see what happens next update if i'm happy....i'm more a love path kinda guy, hoping the couples has a happy ending before i do an ntr route. There's also room for an nts in here, i can see a path of ntr. And it even asks about some ntr content at the beginning of the game. The save system in functional. It would be nice if we could speed up text a little. I have message set as far as it would go, but it would be nice if we had another text accelerator in the text messages to go even faster, esp if you are playing multiple run throughs. Sometimes there's a pause before you see an active message in sms and the text message area....if you go out and in it will sometimes have the dot saying its new...other times you just have to wait a few seconds and it will come up and say new things. The ai render style is cute anime. The few animations there are, are smooth. I've seen phone games with mind control, with hacking, and such so the concepts are not new. It does work well here. Overall i'm sure people get tried of the logs then back to messages, then back to logs grind. So for now i'm really holding off rating it too harshly till the next update or 2. Have to see what paths emerge, if there will be more animations, if the ui stops having those little pauses, and maybe if we can get more speed on the message speed. Can't remember but i think i did tab and cntrl and they didn't speed up anything.

For AI Art it's honestly really good. I like the direction it's going in with lots of different paths. I like the hacking and reading DMs. It's been very entertaining so far and im looking forward to more. Can't wait to see content with the sister.

I like the Phone system but not such a fan of switching between the apps. And you do that very often. The messages that are hidden for MC is quiet annoying to read because of all the System messages between. But I still like the look and the feeling of the phone system. The overview sounded very interesting. And specially with the complex Phone UI system I thought that all really could work out well. But at the end you make a decision at the beginning if NTR or not and then you realize very quickly because it happens so fast that it's just another Boss rapes girlfriend - > She is starting to like it - > MC doesn't know about it story. And that is so lame. It's pathetic enough that there are people really think a women would start liking such bullshit but even from a porn perspective this is so boring. It so overused. Like literally every second NTR game is about a her boss raping your girlfriend. The only thing that is missing that the boss is black. But of course every dick in this game is like 60-80cm. This has nothing to do with the well written overview or with a well written story in general. Of course there is still a chance we might get supsrised by the dev and that would be awesome but we all know the chances are very low. The dialogues are written well. And none of the time I had the feeling those were AI generated. Also I just encountered only very few bugs. There were neither annoying or game breaking. Conclusion: It does some things right but it already started to be another NTR boss rape phone bullshit and we all know how it will end. Can't really recommend it.

Review of 0.3.5 tl;dr - It's a very well made netorare-focused phone-game. The AI art is consistent and the only negative in my opinion is that there's a lot of back and forth between phone menus. --- Pros : Well-made, clean, functional UI Consistent and attractive AI art Decent story Cons : A considerable amount of back and forth in the phone menus I didn't find the choices particularly clear --- It's one of the better phone games that's out at the moment and I did enjoy the content for what it was (there's not a vast amount available). My main issue is the amount you need to navigate through the different menus to progress the story and this made playing a little tedious. Not enough for me to stop playing but I felt as though it could have been smoother transition-wise. The other issue I had which is considerably more minor, was that the choices weren't particularly clear for me. There's apparently five routes in the game but it didn't feel that way although it's possible I missed how it all works? Regardless, a decent game that appears to be getting regular updates. One of the better AI phone games out there for sure.

I really enjoyed playing the game so far. There's lots of content for this early stage of the game. The characters are well conceived, the art is good, text speed is alright and the progression doesn't get boring. I really enjoyed the log function with hacked/whisper chats and I personally didn't mind the techie texts. I would've appreciated a slower start in corrupting the girlfriend with some lighter actions first. Sometimes you get notifications from new messages but the chat doesn't update. The UI is also a bit of a mess. This doesn't really circumscribe the game, but I thought it would still be worth mentioning. I'm looking forward to new updates.

Was a nice start. UI is kind of messy but its not that bad, no skip button tho, does atleast have a save feature, really like the art is kind of inconsistent but not by that much, has some finger issues, didnt notice without looking. When it comes to the story and chatting it feels quite human, isnt robotic, which I really like. Unfortunately the step- suffix is used, would've been way better if it was the genuine family, but I understand, patreon rules, would be nice if a patch was made to remove the step- tho. Now to the negatives 1. Ui is kind of messy. 2. Not negative depending on who you ask but the Step- suffix. 3. I get messages that whispers have come but nothing new is there. 4. There is way too much useless text on the sex scene whispers that while I understand is to make it seem "tech" just get annoying. 5. would be nice if there was a gallery that told you how many images are left to unlock. 6. Skip function. 7. Spoiler: Story spoiler While personal i wouldve liked having it be a slow burn instead of the immediate rape. 8. I noticed some answers of the fmc are off, like there should be a text in between that didnt render. Thats about it, really nice game maybe the dev can add some kind of censor bar settings for the behind the back images in the whisper and stuff so it feels like a genuine mystery ntr. Good luck to the dev, extremely lovely start
