About NOIR: Skin Deep
NOIR: Skin Deep by Ker is a Ren'Py adult visual novel with animated 3DCG presentation. You play a male homicide detective in Mirage Bay, a sprawling Southern California coastal city around 2015. A Tuesday night call leads you to a strip club where two men are dead: the owner in his office and the shooter beside him. What seems like a quick gang hit turns into a widening case. As you investigate, you encounter the victim’s close circle, rival business figures, and officials with no obvious link to the killing. Evidence points in many directions, and the real question becomes who to believe.
The current build is Chapter 1, released September 16, 2026. The changelog lists it as the initial release, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest update added Chapter 1, introducing the opening case and its first suspects.

The deeper you dig, the more suspects surface — people close to the victim, business rivals, and officials who should have had no connection to a strip club murder. The evidence keeps pointing in multiple directions. Every thread you pull opens another. And the question stops being who pulled the trigger and becomes something harder: who do you believe?
