Overall 3.5 / 5. A well executed short and simple parody to OceanGate. Nothing truly amazing but you will have a good time with it Story 3/5. The story is about the MC and FMC building their relationship with an OceanGate Parody as a setting. Its a very basic and predictable story, but it is executed pretty well you just can't expect anything too deep given its length. Characters 3/5. Well made in a sense that each character clearly has their own role to play. However they are very shallow, you pretty much know everything about each character from the first 2-3 lines or so with no twist or changes to them. Art 3/5. Cartoon style, with limited detail and very few images overall. Adult Scenes 3.5/5. Scenes sometimes feel really intense, but for the most part i just found them dumb and funny, still entertained me though.

Short Game with basically 2 paths. Several dead ends, but no hidden unlockables. Gallery included at menu and impossible to miss any unlocks. Characters were static, no real change from start to finish. Interesting to experience single playthrough.

Short story (2 hours if you're reading decently quickly) with very good writing - lightweight and witty (it's a OceanGate parody and a good one at that!) - and great art. Content-wise the tags say it all, just be sure to play through both routes. I'm giving it a 5 star rating in its weight class cause it's obviously a small game. PS: Newbie game developers should take example from this game on how to scale their first project to not get overwhelmed.

If you're wandering in search of a decent game, give this one a try Really good and short story with much above average visuals. Most likely you'd like it. And if not, well, it could take only somewhat 3 hours of your lifespan I was hesitant if I should give it 4 or 5 stars but in the end this game's quality much better than average on the site. Short and sweet. About 2-3 hours in lengh, quality art. Nothing more than you expect, nothing less. If you look at the poster girl and thnk - "I want to see some action", you wont be disappointed. No extreme fetishes or some such.

Good game. It's short, 2 hours pretty much as advertised in the initial thread. So, the good pros: Nice sound, characters and sex scenes. I also enjoyed the mockery on the whole situation, like no safety and whatnot. The cons: 2 hours for pretty much one scene + the scene from the epilogue. Only one choice matters and that decides the epilogue pretty much. Overall 4/5, would never play again, but I would try new games from this developer if they are available.

The idea of turning a disasterous accident into a porn game is so bad that it's even funnier. Even the guy responsible for this accident has been parodied so well that I found immersed right from the beginning. The art in this is super hot. It's not very interactive but still a lot of fun. The amount of h-content in this is quite small but this game shows why good storytelling matters more then fapping material. This is a unique, bold, hilarious game. I wish more games were like this.

I almost laughed at the source of the premise came from, but anyway. The story is good enough for nukige, art also great and overall fast enough to enjoy. Now the bad part While I know its mostly Ren'Py limitation, why... There's no option to read backlog like typical VN, I mean sure the rewind works, but kinda tedious. Button to access menu, I've managed to bugged it out 2 minutes into the story. No auto feature? Overall, simple UI common to VN will answer all of that issue.

Disclaimer: I am a Patreon of this dev, and I actually bought this game with the price of a sandvich on Steam before I even discover this page, so this review will be a bit biased. Also since I am writing this shit at work I will not go into too many details, but we will see about that. Anyway, Oceanlust: Erotic Descent (Original title: Subnaughtica: Catastrophic Sexpedition), is a short VN about- let's face it, that submersible's design (and the fact I mention the word "submersible") should clue you what this VN is about, I don't need to say more. The premise: You, as if the player character, are an internet rando who wins a promotion on Reddit or somewhere that grants him a free submersible tour from the company Ocean Ga- I mean SafeXpedition. On the way to board the very obviously not-Titan submersible, you meet a girl of the Instagram influencer type from a rich family, and the two of you, along with the a technical personnel and the eccentric CEO of the SafeXpedition, are embarking on a tour to the wreck of the Titani- I mean Gigantic. Yeah, I am sure nothing will go wrong. The Gameplay: It is a rather straightforward VN with some choices, it works fine. There is a fair share of "actually matter" choices, but most of them are basically "Do you want the real-life incident to happen or not?" if you know what I am saying. Granted, one choice does change how the sex goes and the ending . But still, this isn't some giant ass game with some complex cause and effect going on- look the entire game is base on a certain irl incident and it has the price of a sandvich, the fact it even take itself serious with multiple endings is already oversolding its premise. So yeah, just standard VN gameplay, with some choices that matter. The Artstyle: It is good. And since I did say I will be biased, let's just say it...touches me in a very good way. Hell, a part of me even thinks this is better than the devs' main title . If anything, my only complaint is, well, spoiler alert. Spoiler: The Sex If you decide to go raw, he doesn't even cum inside the first time- what a waste of my favorite posistion. I am going to cut that out when I post this on Steam. The Story: Well, you've seen the news, you know what happened- actually, nah, there are some alterations. Mostly the fact that one submersible passenger became this rich influencer girl named Mari, and the fact that you are not here to make your dad proud by following him on board, but because you won the free tour online. Then there are some pre-tour plots involving some irrelevant characters and a few fan service scenes with Mari, standard stuff to make things go. I see someone in this here form say it is boring asf- and yeah, that's kinda the point: Everyone and their nan knows what will happen once you are on the Not-Ttian, a calm before the storm is almost mandatory. Anyway, so later on you are on board with Mari, the other two crew members of the Not-Titan are a historian/technical guy named Francis...and the eccentric CEO of the SafeXpedition, whose name I forgor because I hold 0 respect for the guy. But at the very least, like the irl version of him, he is willing to test his death machine himself. ...and we all know shit happens later on. Props to Red's team who managed to write such an infinitely hateable character in that parody dark humor way- but still, he is grating asf. Since unlike that other higher-budget title by this team , one which has a grand mystery and serval less grating characters to distracting yourself from the asshats. This game doesn't really have a mystery- look, we all know how shit will happens, so the fact you are trap under the sea with this cunt who will blame everyone but himself for his failure is just annoying asf. Anyway, me saying more will be spoilers, but all I will say is you have some action with Mari in the Not-Titan, which can result in two endings, depending on a previous choice- it should be obvious enough which one I mean if you actually play it. Oh and her father is based on Liam Neeson - Idk why but I find this shit rather funny. TL;DR: Oceanlust: Erotic Descent is a short VN based on a certain irl event two years ago, with some creative liberties that may or may not change the ultimate fate of the passengers of the submersible. Conclusion/personal thoughts I can't cram into a review: Yes I give it a 5-star but never really explain why. Well, it's kinda just because it does well as its own thing, telling a story that parodies an irl incident- is it tasteless? Probably. But the fact that someone even does it is enough meme value for me to say "sure, thumbs up." Also, I don't know why, but I like Mari. She embodied the worst rich girl influencer stereotype (except she is way nicer to talk to than most of them), but still, being a dead-end job haver who gave up on the idea of having a relationship years ago. Normally, I wouldn't see anyone who goes "Hold on imma take a pic for the Instagram." any attractive...but for some reason, I just kinda like her. Probably because she is not rude or being a rich pompous brat, and is rather down to earth. Not to mention the whole plot thing that caused the sex to happen- spoiler alert: Spoiler: How it happens With the two other crew personnel dead due to spoiler reasons, and the not-Titan being non-functional...so you and Mari figure that this is it. So she decide to have the sex with you, since she figures that if you're dead anyway, might as well fuck until the time comes. ...But unlike real life, you eventually got saved, and Mari has basically fallen for you after the life and death experience... And maybe the idea of an Instagram influencer being this weirdly dedicated has some juxtaposition thing going on, idk. Anyway, this review is going on long enough with me yapping, so imma stop here.

A bite-sized visual novel with killer art and darkly funny twists. There’s only one real choice and a couple of "bad end" gags, that is quite enough for not to get boring. Addition of gorgeous illustrations and clever retry system make it a fast delightful journey.

Short and sweet one, not much of a game, just one real choice to make and a couple "wrong-game over" to see, but has some good jokes (kind of morbid on that context) art is cool, overall is a great work i will look for more of this dev´s work (hopefully will be a big proyect)

Remember that one time you heard a certain carbon-fiber submarine imploding under the ocean? Well this is sort of a simulation of that story but with a steamy heart-pounding erotic ending that you won't forget anytime soon.

This game is awesome Cons: it takes eternity to gets going there is almost no choice linear game with too long intro sequence and too little options for replays No gameplay (this can be pro for some people, its better to have no gameplay than bad gameplay for me) Pros: okey sex scenes with willing lady happy ending funny So game have a pilot scene and if you chose the wrong option you hit gameover joke ending, however unlike in garbagio games that throw you to menu, here game revert before you made choice and let you retry Solid 4/5

I've always been a fan of Redikal's works between Tyrant quest and Divimera and this game is no exception. It's short and sweet with great art and sexy sound effects where two young lovers discover the joy of trauma bonding. Bonus points for the pregnancy scenes.

Previously, if you wanted to learn the most about OceanGate you would have to open up IG to find the dozens of memes to get the most up to date info. Now, that's secondary compared to this masterpiece. You still get to read about rich assholes, but the daughter of one lets you hit and the ending is sweet. Nice scenes for a short game and there are two routes to see different fetishes. (Spoiler, the best fetish is in the no condom route.)

Game is funny and has two routes. The art is great and it's a great way to kill an hour and a half. It's a short playthrough, ending B is kino - definitely worth downloading just to play at least once.

I don't know about ethical part of this since it's very clearly based on a certain submarine incident with very real casualties, and stuff is still extremely fresh so how you feel about making a porn game from a real life tragedy that is barely 2 years old is for you to decide. Game is neat however. Takes 1-1.5 hour to finish, only actual choice is to take condoms or not and have 2 routes based on that. Art is pleasant, writing is good, it's decently funny, doesn't overstay it's welcome, for a silly short story surprisingly wholesome.
