Once Upon a Time in Bayview is an adult visual novel made by LoneWolfStudioX in Ren'Py. It is a first-person harem dating sim set in a coastal university city, where you play a male protagonist and pursue relationships with several mature women. The game combines psychological storytelling, affection and energy systems, city events, mini-games, and animated AI CG visuals.
The current build is v0.1.3, released on April 30, 2026 for Windows in English, with uncensored content. Development is ongoing. The update adds Alison, Savannah, and Olivia as bar NPCs, each with unique personalities and dialogue. A new Buy a Drink option lets you spend $25 for a chance to unlock a character's special interactions and Blackjack mini-game that day without standard affection requirements. Completing Kiara's Late Night Clinic quest unlocks Flirt. A naming bug was fixed so NPCs use your custom character name.

Bar Expansion: Three new characters—Alison, Savannah, and Olivia—have officially taken up residence at the bar, each featuring unique personalities and dialogue content.
"Buy a Drink" Mechanic:
Spend $25 for a chance to win the affection of one of the bar girls.
If successful, you will immediately unlock "RSP" (Special Interactions) and the "Blackjack" mini-game with that character for the day—no need to meet any standard Affection Level requirements!
Kiara's Storyline: The "Late Night Clinic" quest has been completed. Successfully finishing this quest will unlock the "Flirt" interaction option for Kiara.
Dynamic Naming System: Fixed an immersion-breaking bug. All NPCs will now correctly use your custom character name instead of displaying the hard-coded default name.

Save File Compatibility: Added a backend patch to ensure that save files from v0.1.2 remain fully compatible with this update.
