About Open Door Policy
Open Door Policy is a Ren'Py visual novel by Lycadiata. You play a male protagonist who, after a rough workday, receives a letter from the absent father who abandoned him years ago. The message offers a chance to inherit a hotel, an appealing prospect in a tough economy. The game presents fantasy and monster girl themes with 3D CG artwork.
The current build is v0.01, an initial release, so development is ongoing. It was released on September 6, 2026, for Windows in English, and it is uncensored. The v0.01 changelog lists only Initial Release, meaning this update provides the first playable version of the hotel inheritance premise.

After a difficult day at work, you receive a letter from your father. He left you long ago, but now he has left you something unexpected: the chance to inherit his hotel. Who would reject such an opportunity in this economy? And so, the story begins...
