Path of Sorrow and Pleasure is a fantasy adventure RPG made by A la Ethereal using the Others engine, with 3DCG visuals. You play a hero through a long journey filled with hardship, sorrow, and moments of pleasure. Along the way, he meets new friends, faces obstacles, makes important choices, and leads an army against a mysterious nemesis.

Development is ongoing, and the current build is v0.12.1, released on September 14, 2023 for Windows in English, and it is uncensored. This update introduced a new interface style and elements, a revised battle calculation intended as the start of a larger combat system, fresh animations, new enemies, bug fixes, a cheat menu, the first route for a second quest, and resolution options inside the game settings. Companions are disabled in this version, and part of the text is translated into Italian.
