Your father was a drill Sgt. that treated you worse than fresh meat to a grinder, and just as things were going to take a turn for the worse, you decided to run away. Spoiler After weeks on the run, living under whatever shelter you could find, your mentor finds you and offers to take you in after learning about what happened. Left with no other option, you accept and start to get your act together.
