Peach Tangle

Played after finding the dev's current project, Harem of Ankhutep. A short but enjoyable experience. The game follows Wendel after he wakes up in a mysterious forest and finds a girl named Mira. A cute girl with a bubbly personality, they have to figure out where they are and why. While the length of the game does mean things happen quite suddenly and at times rushed, both characters are enjoyable and the romance is very sweet. The twist near the end does lead to a bit of a plot dump and the ending feels a little abrupt, but overall story is good. Writing is also good, if slightly rough around the edges. Visuals are very good for such a humble project as well. A proper anime style opening, atmospheric backgrounds, and good animations helps balance the speed of the story. While Mira's flesh fang took a little getting used to she's an adorable character. Overall would recommend, especially if you tried and enjoyed Harem of Ankhutep. The game is short and at times does suffer from it, but I doubt many would regret giving it a read.

After playing Harem of Ankhutep (AhaNubis' other game), I was also curious about this one. Peach Tangle is a little story... chill, colorful, and heartwarming, focused on the starting romance of a boy and a girl lost in a curious forest, as the overview says... But with a twist? As a fan of romance, i enjoy seeing the relationship evolve and even if it was a little fast (surely due to the length of the game), it's well made, and the good writing helps, of course. I had a great moment ( and a great fear when Wendel found Jax's skeleton... Almost cried on the spot... WHY DID YOU DO THAT? :'D ). Writing, music (Interstellar remake for scenes was quite nice), environment design, all is very cool and full of colors. Mira is very cute and you'll want more of her in the end. If you're looking for some emotions-centered little adventure with a good romance, you should definitely try it!
