Perverted Tea House

I normally never write a review and I rarely even read them. Once in a while a game is so deserving that I cannot hold back. I only found this game because of a random render on discord. I had no idea what to expect. No preconception. At the start I was slightly confused as to what was going on. This is quite common for me. I have played so many games that it takes a bit to switch gears and get into a story. Well this story turned out to be not only great it is fantastic (in every respect). Unlike most harem games, this one actually makes sense. It feels believable and not completely contrived to get the tag many want. That makes this pretty unusual right off. The game is so creative with the characters that I am astounded. It is very rare to find this level of creativity. Some of the characters are so damned funny that it had me laughing out loud. The writing gets better and better as the game continues. Every one of the Li's is unique in some way from looks to personalities and I for one, found it impossible not to love them. If you are completely closed minded (and thick headed) this may not be the game for you. It seems there have been a lot of complaints about one lesbian scene and I would call their reaction "kink shaming" despite not even being relevant to this game. Did any of these players actually play the game? This is NOT a lesbian game. The scene was there for the game and story to make sense and it works just fine for that.

v0.1.1 good so far. lots of content for a v0.1. Cyberpunk Dystopia x Xianxia is an interesting combo and certainly makes this game stands out. MC actually looks like a man, with muscles, he lifts. I don't like piercings and tattoos, but despite their prevalance they manage to, so far, not ruin the girls. I am not a fan of 3dcg, but if you are going to use it at least use one of the ones that do not suck or even better use a good looking one. This game does in fact use a good looking 3dcg. Pacing and story is a bit off. I think it should have started much earlier in the MC's career and introduced us to the girls more naturally. It feels like I am watching episode 2, with the occasional "previously in episode 1" infodump. And the interaction with characters sometimes seems a bit off, such as when a new waifu trauma dumps the moment they meet. Although later on the revelation of the MC's [Mind Control] powers makes me think this was is passive side-effects of his mind control powers. Speaking of, this needs the tag [mind control], as it is pretty central to the MC's bloodline. MC seems to be some sort of incubus with mental domination powers. Also said powers, while powerful, seem to function by enhancing what is already there. Which suggests some females will be resistant or immune. Also suggests his interactions outside of the mind control are important too, it is not a cudgel that reduces targets to zombies.

TL;DR Exceptional quality for a new release. It happened, I read this one straight after 0.4 of Cross Realms (which is fast becoming iconic game in a genre, at least for my taste), and I saw no difference in an overall quality or a quality of the story. Which is a high praize . Becouse sometimes while trying to read few VN with a different quality straight, making one slightly poorer written feels a lot worse. Not the case for a Perverted Tea House . It's speaks. What I liked: The pace of storytelling. It's intentionally fragmented. It's an interesting technique, but hard to achieve without being broken or boring. Saint nailed it. He just did . I wasn't lost even once while it allowed to present more characters and branchesof a future story. The breakers (it's a renders which separate one scene from another). They simple but unique and they really needed here with this type of a narrative (fragmented). Of'couse, I liked the characters. But honestly you can find good characters even in a poorly written novels, which is not the case for PTH (I mean, in PTH all good with the writing). Especially I prefer normal-looking boobs and variety. Many devs making a lot of characters with a cows udders and usually it's a setback. Here we have a lot of boobs for each taste . =) Some minuses . I'm not fond of MC's dick - too big for my taste. And a lot of piercings I'm finding unnecessary, but again, usually it suits characters, it's just my RL preferrances. Well, rounding up. Still, despite few little minuses, a lot of a huge pluses, very promising and very solid start. I want more of this story .

Very interesting and unique world and well written characters. Can get a bit confusing at times but I’ve heard a codex is on the way so that will pretty much solve that issue. The only minor gripe I have is that the MC looks a bit… off. His muscles are a bit too big where at times they look like his arms are about to clip into his torso and his face is too squaresih. But all the girl designs are absolutely amazing and at the end of the day thats way more important. Fantastic music too. Overall a great start and I can’t wait to see more.

Review for v0.1.1 Very mixed opinions on this one. On one side, it's a pretty unique setting for an AVN. Cultivation inspired lewd games are already rare, but this one is set in a futuristic cyberpunk world which I'm liking more than I thought I would. It's very flashy and kind of over the top with a lot of the designs and environments. Sometimes too much, but I find myself preferring that than your usual bland college game. The writing isn't fully landing for me though. One of the characters in the game kinda points it out actually. She wants to see if the MC is "all brawn and no brains" which does fit him perfectly. He's incredibly dull. He's always just kinda reacting to every situation without much forethought or in-depth thinking of any kind. He's sort of a cultivation gary stu. Mysterious extraordinary background, disciple of one of the strongest people in the world, all the girls love him for pretty much nothing but him existing. He's a walking trope. His only real character defining moment so far is him losing a fight and causing one of his girls to get injured, which he then is like "I must get stronger to protect them!!!!!" It's boring man! More than that though, I feel like the dialogue is a bit bloated. So MC and friends are sent on this dangerous mission in some enemy territory. They run into a trapped girl who they free, and she then quite literally gives us her whole life story in a big info dump kind of way. For one I hate her design (that makeup makes her look like a prostitute is the best way to put it) but that's besides the point. They get attacked, multiple times, and capture a girl for interrogation where they spend a bunch of time doing that and resting in a pocket dimension. Meanwhile the scout squad they were with is getting killed and tortured lol. I suppose they forgot about them. There's just like no urgency despite how they shouldn't linger there because of the danger or whatever that they themselves state. But sure lets waste more time talking about feelings because one of the girls gets jealous. They do pay for it though, so maybe that'll make them a bit smarter from lessons learned. Unironically I think the side girls have been more interesting than any of the main ones, and the game even jumps away from the MC to give you a whole second plotline about some of them. Why it does that in the middle of the MC's mission I couldn't tell you, but it felt weird. The pacing is off. The action scenes themselves have been cool. Sex scenes have been alright as well. Some lesbian stuff which I personally like, but I'd hesitate to call them full scenes. I turned off the music because I didn't enjoy most of it. I want to like this and will likely give it another shot in the future, but I hope the writing around the MC gets better and that the pacing finds its ground.

Graphics are grainy and dark. Story is very cliché with every possible manga trope added in. Then add in all the lines ripped right out of movies/tv series and even a yoda talking master/sensei and it just kinda becomes a mess. With some improved graphics and more original writing this might be a good game. As it is, it's mediocre at best.

Good start. Story driven game. A lot of happened for just version 0.1. Even a bit hectic sometimes jumping from one plotline to another, but that is ok. Waiting for the next update to connect the dots and get things explained in more detail.) Also, characters are different and interesting.

Very good, especially for a 0.1. The story still is a bit convoluted, but it seems like this is wanted and not a case of bad story crafting. We have met quite a few characters that the MC hasn't yet and we'll have to wait and see how the different story threads will be weaved and fit into one. The girls are all cute and unique, my biggest gripes at the moment is with the MC's upper body which seems a bit weird, especially sans shirt and the yoda like character that has yet to grow on me. All in all a lot better than the vast majority of 0.1's on here, but still has room to grow, will have to see what the future holds, so only a 4/5 for me at the moment.
