About Phantyx
Phantyx is an adventure game made by Velrya with Ren'Py, using 3D CG and animated visuals. Humans and demons have long shared the world, through bloody conflict, until the demons vanished. Ghosts then appeared, creating a new threat handled by the special taskforce Phantyx. You play an elite ghost hunter who joined at fourteen after following your parents, now with eight years of experience. Your work is quick, efficient, and merciless, fueled by a personal vow to keep fighting until no ghosts remain.
The current build is version 0.1, released on June 6, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English text and no censorship. The latest changelog lists only an initial release, so this first version introduces the setting, protagonist, and opening conflict.
Developer's description
Humans and demons have shared this world for as long as anyone can remember. Their coexistence has been anything but peaceful, and many bloody wars have been fought. Then, suddenly, the demons disappeared. Spoiler It looked like everything was slowly returning to normal. Then the ghosts appeared. That's why Phantyx was created, a special taskforce to deal with this new threat. You're a highly ranked ghost hunter who joined Phantyx at fourteen, following in your parents' footsteps. With eight years of experience under your belt, you're known for being quick and efficient, but most of all. Merciless. Because this fight is personal. After your parents were killed, you made a promise: To keep fighting. Until every last ghost is gone. But what will it take to keep that promise?
