About Philomel
Philomel is an adult adventure game made by NuclearShrimp with RPG Maker, using 2D animated visuals. You play Donna, a soon-to-be housewife in a fantasy world, trying to help her fiancé gather enough money for their wedding. As she works for Lawrence, she meets a lecherous local priest, demons, horses, and many strange residents. Completing tasks unlocks higher-paying jobs, including questionable ones, while the story mixes romance, corruption, and cheating around her goal of saving 10,000 gold.
The current build is Chapter 1, released February 15, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows and is available in English, Japanese, and official Chinese. The game is uncensored. The latest changelog entry adds the Chapter 1 release, giving players the first part of Donna’s wedding-funding journey.

Join Donna, a young wife trying to help her fiance earn enough funds for their wedding. There will be a wide variety of tasks, obstacles, and distractions along the way, but nothing can stand in the way of pure love! Not even a lecherous priest, or demons, and definitely not horses! Story Spoiler Enjoy a fantasy world where you play as an ordinary (soon to be) housewife, Donna, and journey together with her as she works for Lawrence. The priest of the local church who most certainly only has the holiest of thoughts when he is staring at Donna’s voluptuous body. As Donna completes jobs, she will unlock higher paying tasks, even some of… questionable nature, giving her plenty of ways to earn even more money. But she’s got to do her part to reach her and her fiance’s goal of saving up 10,000 gold for their wedding, so she’ll take on any job that she can get! There are all manner of strange creatures in this world, and although Donna will mostly be spending "quality time" with Lawrence, she'll eventually have the chance to have plenty of “fun” with the other residents and beings of all shapes and sizes in this bustling fantasy world as well!
