"Pirates: Golden tits" is an explicit pirate simulator. You get to control a young pirate captain, who has just acquired his first ship and who also has lots of adventures, treasures and wet girls awaiting him! The game is UNFORGIVING when you do not play pixel perfect, sending you to the menu without an autosave like other Ren'Py projects I have reviewed. The game is on sale on steam, but on steam it was not perfectly clear that the project was abandoned. It just says "early access" that is not the same as "abandoned" The bug where you can fight without a crew when you board the ship because the game does not tell you the IMPORTANCE of selecting a crew. Too difficult to get to a desired scene and no way to skip what I don't want to see. COME BACK DEV and I will update my review to a 5 star. You have a golden ticket with the art, a beautiful foundation. finish it someday...

Nice 2 D art and animations. I love some pirate stuff. Let's not think of the horrible diseases, low sanitation and hygiene among other stuff that was common at the time. The gameplay is kinda confusing. The battles have no rule it seems.

Altough i was a little prejudiced about the artwork, I wanted to give it a try and had a great time while playing it. The mini games were not there to increase the total play time but there to increase the experience and they were kind of optional. The amount of scenes were somehow lower than many counterparts but due to the smooth scenario and not-overwhelming minigames, I had a great time and gave four stars.

[good]. >no crucial bugs in the 14.7 >ui works fine. >tips are often vague but external walktrough exists. >decent amount of content (but given the years of development id expect at least twice as much) >diverse minigames and fights mechanics [deck-stacking rpg fights & arcadish naval fight] >quests dont feel monotonous >the plot environment is more or less fresh. something you may want after games with same old modern-day banalities [subjective or simply no good?] female faces remind fish faces. nothing catchy in those drawings. (i know it is not a traced art yet it is not an excuse for not having cute face drawings) no options to skip minigames and fights. (you never know when and why someone would want to do it. tired of repetitions? rushing to the next quest step? bad in fishing like me?) while im good with pirate age backgrounds i hoped that there would be no drift to unreal elements (mermaid, skeleton fighters); though i dont think it affected the degree of immersion i had (or had left...after fishfaces :] ). lewd scenes are more like a by-product which you get occasionally here and there. so cannot say i experienced any typical build up and progression ladders with fem npcs. not necesserily a bad thing, depends on your mood.

Had been on the fence about this for awhile but it's finally got enough scenes to be worth it, and then a gallery added on top for quality of life? Toss in decent art in a unique art style, and while I do get some of the mini-game complaints (the dev needs to be careful with those), it's a solid game to try. 3.5-4 in general, add a point if you're in to pirates too.

[v0.11.5] After the first mini-game, I was 50% forced into quitting the game, thus deleted file. The other 50% would be to replay mini-game, but, I quit and deleted file right there. Why? I wouldn't call this game's format a proper VN as such, there are no options along the bottom of the screen that allows you to customize your viewing pleasure. - Yes you can RMB to bring up the preference menu - it has all the typical options that we've come to know about [VN] games... but once you've chosen your desired options and RMB again, still, all the options usually always shown at bottom of screen are just not there, rendering half of your choices useless! =That was the final straw that made me delete the file. =What made me 'QUIT' quit was after the mini-game - if you fail, you get 'GAME OVER' or 'Replay' options; which are the 2nd lot of options (in the storyline) after choosing your name at almost the very start. Now I know you're saying why don't you save game before mini-game! Right? .. just you don't know when that happens. I understand the Dev' made this game to be on the rather harder side of physics, but... the shoddy game mechanics in the mini-game is really not worth anybody's free pleasure time.. especially in an adult gaming site.. Mini-game Mechanics = It doesn't matter if you shoot enemy ship on dot, before dot, or after dot; cannon balls will always miss the enemy ship. Me no like 'game overs' in games... Me likes 'try again', or better yet 'skip mini-game and you'll be given a 50/50% chance of succeeding or failing in your future choices'. Rating = 1/5 = Terrible. +1 = The art style is good actually.. -1 = ...it's the eyes on them that makes the overall look "yuck!". -1 = Mini-game catastrophe. -1 = Don't get to see any fappable porn before mini-game. -1 = Content is more driven towards a non-pornographic game rather than the porn... meaning, it doesn't deserve a high place on F95 site. ----More---- -1 = After choosing name, there are no choices to choose a different path before the mini-game --- thus is unavoidable, thus also game feels more Kinetic than a CYOA (that we've come to love about [VN]s. (Nov 10. 2022) 3 -> 4 Stars In contrast to my worries back almost 2 years ago, the developer didn't give up. I admit I wish there were more updates more frequently, but I'm not the one working on it. The number of lewd content is decent now, and I'm happy to get my hopes up once again. However, I do have to mention that (in my case) not being able to load saves from previous versions is a huge letdown, as it buzzkills my desire to play the game. This is an authentic game in the world of pirates. Artwork is unique but I see it is not for everyone although I like it. Sandbox mechanism was comfortable for me. Game is fun and sexy in a cartoonish way.

i like art and scenes, now, i hate everythin else. the whole early game is an endless grind. all mede worse by RNG. spend dozen of clicks to catch a fish worth 10 gold (when you need to reach 3k) is awful. the money making girl is nowhere to be found or drunk dead 2/3 of the time. the dice minigame. the waiting time for the dice to roll is too long, and when the opponent gets too close to defeat you'll see some incredible rerolls. i tried to get at least to repair the ship. multiple times. i couldnt stand all of this. there's room for improvement. i hope future updates will fix these issues

Game is unplayable in current state. Game still has huge segments where the game is completely in Russian. Completely breaks immersion and since you have no idea what people are saying or what is happening ruins any desire to play further. Sorry but can't rate a game where the very first battle is Russian since Feb more then a 1star. People can say well the game is great or the game is awesome must be fluent speaking Russians. From the title we see that this version of the game is 0.1, which means that the developers have just started creating the game. I like the drawing, I like the manners of the main characters of the game. The game gives freshness. Sex scene turned out very lively. The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.1... This is a unique and humorous visual novel/game, but teases at some darker themes as well... The visuals are all 2D hand drawn as well as the backdrops, which are somewhat cartoon looking... The ship to ship battle visuals are hilarious, looking like folded paper ships... There is an error with the character names showing in Russian when playing the English version... The script is pretty good, with barely any spelling/grammar errors... This plot revolves around a male protagonist pirate who loves his rum, as him and his crew steal a ship and kidnap the governors daughter in the process... The story plays out like a parody of the life of being a pirate... With a quirky and very talkative parrot, and the protagonists reactions to everything that occurs... There is a bit of humor here and there in both the visuals as well as dialogue/monologue... This is basically an introduction to the story and some basic game play mechanics... It shows one erotic scene near the end of the content, which is a bit dark being that it's a gang rape of the kidnap victim by the protagonists crew and female first mate, without his prior knowledge and/or approval... At first it almost seemed like she might be the love interest character, but who knows after that scene... Overall, this is a unique and creative visual novel/game, but unsure if it plans to have a lot of dark themes (after seeing the gang rape scene) or if it will stick to being humorous and light hearted with the inclusion of erotic/sexual scenes... Don't know at this point... I didn't expect to see a gang rape right out the gate, with there being no choices presented for the protagonist... He just walks away from it after being seen, almost like he didn't mean to walk in on it and didn't care if it was happening or not... Will I revisit this one? Maybe, have to wait and see how it develops...
