This is right down my alley, I can only hope the developer expands more on the systems! I know it's a rom hack, so feature requests largely depend on the dev's familiarity, but could something like a pregnancy system be added? May be able to treat it like PkRs and do a sprite swap when the condition is gathered? Could do a call when certain applicable animations/moves are used. A party system where you can "interact" with your own party would work very well with this. It's a lot I know but it would bring this project to a whole other level.
As a teenager, I used to lose myself for hours in Pokémon Emerald and the other editions. As an adult, I’m once again spending hours immersed in this ROM. The new sprites are much better than the ones from the developer’s earliest implementations. There’s real potential to expand and improve Pokémon Emerald’s story beyond what was originally planned. The presence of the main seaport in Emerald opens up exciting possibilities — imagine finishing the Pokémon League and receiving a ticket to visit another region, similar to Gold and Silver. But this time, we could travel to the Kanto region in the style of FireRed and LeafGreen, since the graphics are quite similar. I’m always eagerly looking forward to the updates great job!
The nsfw sprites for the pokemon are really good, It still feels low on sex scenes. I think it would be cool if we could bang our own pokemon or at least the starter pokemon. Its unfortunate that we cant view our mega pokemon from the front would be nice to have some way of viewing the sprites in the pokedex or with some item in the bag maybe?
I never played Pokémon Emerald originally, but this rom hack was really fun. It's almost a one-to-one form of the base Emerald game from what I know. They do have a lot of extra Pokémon not in the base game, and they also have mega evolution. Most sprites in dialogue and combat have been changed to furry futa anthros (which is hot). However, the overworld sprites are unchanged. It's still being updated, and they keep adding more. There are some special interactions with Pokémon in the overworld where it will play a small sex scene; there are a handful all around, and I doubt I've found them all. There are also a few dialogue changes, not many. I originally found this during version 0.4 something, and now there on version 0.73, and each update they keep adding more sprites, Pokémon, and scenes. It is almost exclusively futa, so if that's not your style, this isn't for you. This is personally the only kind of nsfw Pokémon game I've ever wanted. It's Pokémon but with sexy sprites. I cannot recommend this game enough if you love base Pokémon games and want the sprites to be sexy. Base Emerald has 202 Pokémon, but this game has over 400. You'll have plenty of fun exploring and hunting for all the sexy Pokémon. Not all sprites are sexyified yet, but more than enough are. I'm excited for this game to finish adding sprites and custom scenes. Again, it's pretty much exclusively futa, so if you don't like it... Cry about it. I wish the developer well, and I hope it gets finished sometime this year. It's honestly one of the best nsfw games I've ever played, top 3 for sure. but its the best nsfw Pokémon game imo.
Yeah, very good design All it needs it some rework like more female design, maybe more male and female rework, probably do scenes with trainers. Idk needs some spicy, like maybe maybe make the professor male amd give him a sloppy Jimmy there, and maybe Trainer with starters, choosing their gender would go hard
From a non-porn pokemon rom-hack perspective, i'd give this 3 stars, not good but not bad. Difficulty is increased from vanilla game but there's nothing really special besides that. Some people have altered dialogue, but most feel unchanged. From a porn game perspective, I give it 1 star. The "scenes" are way too spread out and there just isn't very many of them. I say scenes in quotes because they are just a single picture with at most a couple of lines of text. Being a pokemon porn game, you'd atleast expect a nice scene after each gym badge right? Well you'd be wrong. The first gym only has 1 picture, and no lines. Not only that but its completely missable because it doesn't happen after winning the fight, no you only see it after talking to the camera man at the entrance of the gym. That's right, you have to talk to someone else so they can describe sex you just had, you don't even get to experience it first hand. That is just insane to me. And the next gym didn't even have a picture, just nothing. The only nice thing i can say about it is the sprite work is really well done. Unfortunately 99.9% of everything and everyone you see naked is a futa. So If futa is your thing, and just seeing a futa is enough to get your engine running, then maybe its worth playing. Otherwise you're better off just playing a good pokemon rom hack or a good porn game, instead of a mediocre at best combination of the two.
rating this with 5 hours a play time so far first my cons for a porn parody game there are hardly any porn scenes at all, me being at Maville i've counted only 5 i suppose that makes them more special when you find them but i was pretty disappointed by this hopefully more are being added. for having the gay tag I sure have not seen any gay content so far, i'm playing as brendon and every scene has been with a futa/mon i was hoping that beating brawly would result in sex but nope againmaybe it's just not added yet. this last one is pretty minor tbh but there have been very minimal QOL aditions, for all intents and purposes this is pokemon emerald at heart. ok now my pros speaking of features what is added is the phys/Sp split and some moves and mons from gen 4 which is really nice making a lot of mons more usable. While there arent many active sex scenes the sprite art in this game is pretty incredible and must have taken tons of work every pokemon is anthropomorphized, all the trainers have been give new battle sprites and there are tons of hot and unique sprites that i love (the gardevior line wear chastity cages for example) while i am gonna continue playing this for a while i'm aware i'm pretty much just playing pokemon emerald with cocks and tits everywhere but it's fun and enteraining if you think you'd enjoy that you probably will enjoy this game edit: i've beaten the game and i love it now most of my points above still apply but the fact that there is basically no content drop off up until the champion is so impressive, and yeah again there are still pretty few actual scenes they are genuinely made special because of that and the game isnt finished yet so i expect more are on the way, also it's not just a couple gen 4 pokemon added. several megas, a ton of pokemon not in the regiaonal dex, and quite a few gen 4 mons. i've never cared to playthrough a gen 3 game, and it was a porn parody version of emerald that got me to play and beat it!
Awesome Game! We need MORE games like this! I totally enjoy the artwork and the gameplay is pretty decent too. The description is completely correct, "Pokemon Emerald.....But Horny!" If you enjoy pokemon games and your into gay/beast stuff, than you will certainly love this game! I thought long and hard before giving my rating. The artwork is SOLID. The gameplay is on point but i would suggest that you add more scenes in future.
Hella potential. Sweet To See. Many pokemon porn games are kinda straight ass. This one does what seems like a no brainer, it just rom-hacks pokemon emerald and replaces the pokemon sprites with lewd ones. They've added actual scenes throughout, they are few and far between, but if they keep it up and add more scenes this one will be a godsend.

I dislike that futa and boys are (pretty much) the only thing in this game. Breeding that ONE female Lucario is cool I guess, but I just feel like there's a lot of potential being wasted. Maybe this just isn't my type of game, though.
After an hour of playing, I only saw the nurse's breasts.. If the dev just divides the scenes at each arena, it might get very boring in the long run. The development is done from A to Z but here, I see that the development has been scattered so we end up with moments of complete emptiness.
V0.6.2 A slightly buggy version of Emerald with lewd sprites and occasional sex scenes (mostly just after gym battles) It's still basically just Emerald. So it's not bad . Though some sprites (like the Manectric sprite) have very noticeable pixels literally just missing, and when the new sprites are basically all it has to show, that is somewhat bothersome. However, so many of the sprites are so damn good. Personally a huge fan of the Wurmple sprite, always love it when they're unafraid to make something look a little weird but not let that come at the cost of sex appeal. Though, somehow the Castform is bugged. You can just keep talking to the guy and he'll keep giving you Castforms, I genuinely don't know how you managed that. Also a few minor text bugs I have no clue how you managed here and there. Switching during a gym battle has the text say that the gym leader switched instead of you, though that's still really minor. The only bug that really bothered me was that eggs seem to be broken and unable to hatch, which means that to see all the eeveelutions I have to manually catch 8 eevees instead of just catching 2 and breeding them.
Finally, a pokemon game that I feel compelled to CATCH 'EM ALL. I do wish the dev to finish all of the National Pokedex before drawing more sex scenes. A lot of competitive/legendaries need a smexy resprite. lick lick lick lick lick lick lick
Although skeptical at first, since all of the comments in the first few pages of the thread, I tried and completed the ROM and found it surprisingly pleasing. 90% of it is just eye-candy for Futa-enjoyers, and that's what the author was probably aiming at. Stuff like this is sometimes just what an already established (and already over-replayed) game needs. Here's hoping that the author will add more 'Mons down the road. Sex scenes or not, I regard them as a "bonus" content for a game like this.
Did a complete playthrough of the game and had a blast, which isn't surprising since, as of v0.6.2, it's largely just a resprite of Emerald, though there are some meaningful changes like new mons, unobtainable ones that are made obtainable, and mega evolutions. There is a very heavy emphasis on futa, so if that's not your thing, this probably isn't for you, but if it is your thing, it's fantastic. There are also a few male sprites, and ~half of them are traps, which I'm fine with, but I wish there was a futa+ option to replace all the male sprites with either traps or futa. Also, as of this review, not every sprite has been replaced yet, so you'll still occasionally come across a normal sprite, but, in my experience, everything up until Fallarbor has a new sprite, and most things after Fallarbor do as well. I'm actually surprised at how complete things are, since, at least on fanbox, the first release of this was only in April of 2025, so the creator definitely puts in work. If you like futa stuff, I highly recommend this, and I'll almost certainly be replaying it once it's complete.
Not a lot of sexual stuff going on but the pokemon and the trainers themselves are very hot. Wish there would be more action other than simply playing pokemon emerald with a twist. Definitely worth a play though.
(0.6.2) A game to edge to. You probably won't jerk it. It's basically a resprite right now with some still images as rewards for beating the female gym leaders. Don't bother EV trainning. Every stat in this game can be filled to the brim (252) except for IVs. So just play at your pace and catch whatever you like. Sprite images are amazing but there are some aspects I don't like. Such as, some pre-evolved forms looking much more enticing than their final evolution(zigzagoon back sprite, trapinch back sprite); the creator focuses too much on making a full sprite art instead of just putting the booty in your face. It would be nice if the final evolutions were just bigger on screen like the pre-evolved. (Ranting) I also expected full futas, unfortunately, geodude remains a dude. I was hoping for another bbw like aggron... . There are femboy mons such as plusle and gallade. Though I'd appreciate if they were shortstacks and have a busty gallade just cause it'll be cool to see. But as the title says, anthromon not futa-mon. I do wish more effort was put into the sex scenes since its literally just 1 panel. 2 panels would at least show a thrusting scene, not sure how much this old engine can achieve though.
(v0.6.2) Before you start reading the review, you must know that the person who wrote it is gay and played a lot of Pokemon Emerald ROMs to a point he is tired of the region. It might affect the score, but I will try to keep it neutral. Pokemon Anthro Emerald is basically the original game but with new sprites, they also updated the mechanics up to gen 6, with the addition of the updated exp share, phy/spe split, moves, abilities, itens, few mons and megas. The story wasn't affected in any way. The sexual content is minimal, if you don't consider the sprites as actual sexual content, the dev added very few lewd scenes, they have very few sentences and a single cg, but aren't impactful enough to make you fap for it. The sprites itself are hot, I won't deny, the are decently (if not well) made. If you like futas, you'll enjoy it pretty much the game, over 90 percent of the mons are futas, while the rest are femboys, males, or didn't had their sprites updated, same could be said to the trainer's sprites but the difference is higher between male/futas/non-updated. Personally I don't like futas, so making a team full of male-presenting mons was rough, especially when the supposedly male/femboy mon evolves into a futa without me knowing their sprites beforehand. Rant aside, I'll repeat that the designs are good and hot, I like how the game shows their asses during battle, the dev worked well in that regard. The difficulty of the game is moderately easy if you played Pokemon before, and it also has some exploits (like extorting rich trainers in battle by using the golden coin item, and them buying rare candies.) My final score is 3 out of 5 because, it's basically Pokemon Emerald with sprite changes, the sex is bare, and the rom is not completed yet. But the potential is there. Since the dev probably is decided in making a mostly futa game, I hope this ROM is a opening for other modders to create something similar as that, but with masculine sprites or feminine sprites for women lovers. Hell, I hope the dev also makes a male/female only version of the game.
I loved the project. The pixel art is wonderful, and all the designers are incredibly hot and creative. It's a truly great combination of futas and femboys. Other than that, it's a normal Pokémon game. Besides the (excellent) sexy additions, it will be really interesting to see what happens next. (It would be great to have more variations in the game's dialogue regarding our character, and perhaps more variations on the possible Dom/Sub.)
