Power Vacuum: Ophelia's Date Night

I haven't played the original Power Vacuum , but I decided to try this non-canonical offshoot to appreciate the universe itself and the author's style. And I can say that now I really hope that the renders in the main game are as good as they are here . Seriously, they're just great . Both static renderers and animations are made to the highest standard, at a very high level . However, I have a few comments that make me give 4 stars instead of 5. 1. Choosing a name at the beginning. Its meaning isn't entirely clear, since the son appears only in the last third of the novel, and the story mainly revolves around Eric and Ophelia. It would be more logical to choose a name for one of them. 2. The tone and presentation of the story. The context feels disconnected from the main game, although the overall plot is clear. The NTR component here is rather arbitrary: the son tries to protect his mother, but in the end he finds out the truth. However, his reaction is shown as comic fright rather than real drama or trauma. The whole story is designed in a light, almost comedic way. Personally, I kind of liked it, but in my opinion, comedy and NTR don't mix very well. 3. Sound accompaniment in intimate scenes. I didn't have enough female moans and sighs. There are sounds of kissing, movements, and ambient background, but without the emotional sound of voices, the scenes lose some of their immersion. It would be ideal to add groans and sighs from both participants. In general , this is good short kinetic novel that fulfilled its main task: I was interested in it and wanted to try the original game, as well as get acquainted with other Sumatra3D works.

I'm not a big fan of NTR still I enjoyed the because I didn't played the original game (tried it and after certain point got tired of it). I liked the seduction and teasing in this one. Dev did a good job with Ophelia's model and his original models too. + Nice visuals + Teasing and seduction + Steamy sex with voice + Writing + Lactation + Completed ( also got fair amount of content for a fan game) - I mainly tried this one for lactation part. There's only few scenes in the end. ( Would have been more nice if dev used lactation part very well ) Looking forward to Dev's new project

Just an excellent VN, this should be within the real power vaccum VN. I think the NTR in the original Power Vaccum VN is kind of weak since it immediately afterwards cops out and convinces the player that its not cannon. There is some general seduction in this VN as well as high quality renders and animations. Five stars!

If you hate the "What If" concept that PV has been doing, you probably won't like this, but only because it's so keeping in story and tone. Which makes this surprisingly great. It manages to match Power Vacuum's vibe very closely and with a good attention to detail often not seen in imitators. I hope the dev decides to do some more.

This short novel is really good and enjoyable. It is about one date. The story is OK and the renders and graphics are excellent with great details. The bad thing was poor quality of squirting. The main character is attractive enough.

Great models; story short and sweet. To be honest, I can't remember what the story was, I was busy looking at Ophelia who looks amazing in that dress. They say I need to write more characters, so here I go: I didn't check the main VN, but I will once it's finished.

Amazing! If you like the original game, you'll love this. It's a short kinetic novel with a ton of sex scenes between Ophelia (mom) and Eric. The animations are smooth, and the characters look spot on. Definitely worth the download.

Better than the original game. Graphics, story/dialogue, and setting; the original's facial expressions were nightmare fuel and the dialogue was mtl at best. This is the complete opposite with subtle and multifaceted writing and breathtaking renders and animation. It does Eric's character better than his home game as well! This creator has some real talent and should continue his work.

As a fan spin-off to the main game, this is an excellent experience. Don't go in expecting a full title - this is just a quick "what if" sequence that takes place during the Power Vacuum game. The renders are excellent - even better than the original game. The setting and characters are also established nicely to make it an interesting short story that leads to fun in the bedroom. Great stuff! I hope there are more spin-offs like this!

This is the VN for you if (in decreasing relevance) You like cartoonishly large tits and cocks You like it when a man dominates a woman with aggressive (but not abusive) oral sex and fucking You like it when a man manipulates and drugs a woman into turning from mildly disinterested into uncontrollably horny You like cucking in general, or the idea of a horny son getting "cucked" when a pick-up-artist seduces his milf. You like it when a woman squirts out of full quart in all directions like some sort of vaginal claymore You enjoy a touch of lactation The renders, the posing, the lighting and the scenes are all extremely high quality. The content is super dense. There's about 20 minutes of VN before the sex scene, which is itself about five minutes of content. There's no exposition, and about 50/50 dialog and thoughts.

Personally while I dont think this is really up my ally I have to really hand it to the person that made this for it being such a well done fan "game", everything about this would have you thinking it was created by the original creator of the game apart from the lighting perhaps? Not exactly sure but I believe its the lighting. anyway great animations, well written, short and sweet. good work.

Power Vacuum: Ophelia's Date Night --------------------------------------------------- Ophelia's Date Night is ostensibly an unofficial "what-if" - devised by upcoming creator Sumatra3D. Is it fair to compare it directly to existing "what-ifs" by WWG? Maybe not, but we'll cover that later. The abstract is this: Sumatra makes good renders, decent animations and cares to add sound effects. The rest is up in the air. For starters and as expected, this is a pretty short playthrough. Sumatra said something about somebody telling him it's like doing covers before recording your own music or something. Ergo, he's just getting his feet wet. This little episode doesn't fuck around with establishing characters and assumes you've played PV before. I'd like to say from the outset that Ophelia looks great and I'm happy to see familiar areas from the main game. Here's the rub; there's not a single hint of that original PV quality writing here, not even a whiff. A few swill-drinking, window-lickers from PV's main thread might not miss it, but there's this gaping hole in the content that no amount of projectile lactose can fill. Ophelia reads nothing like Ophelia, and neither does anyone else, which kind of kills your interest in seeing this character getting ruined by Eric; it does just seem like a skin. Nobody could have asked for the original level of writing, but any attempt at the humor or absurdism of the original is conspicuously absent. The fucking is decent, Eric predictably breaks down Ophelia but it's kind of surprising she acquiesces so easily. I won't compare in detail to Hunter for the sake of brevity, but Eric lacks Hunters' absurdity as a character. It's hard to imagine how Ophelia doesn't wear him down and leave him stood whether anyone is there to stop the date happening or not. There could have been more in-your-face stuff on Eric's' part. There is at least, many more position variations than one might expect. Overall - the visuals are strong, the sounds effects are admirable, most of us are just glad to get our fix. If you like plot with your porn, you'd be better turning to the OG "what-ifs". --------------------------------------------------- 3/5, mainly for quality visuals. I'd like to think Sumatra has something more comprehensive planned for his writing in his upcoming original work, "Campus Lyfe". Still, it's hard to criticize a solid attempt.

Good fan art porn. Not going to hold this to PV standards, because that's not what it's trying to do. It's a porn homage to the main game in the form of a what if. The selling point here is the porn itself, and it's well done. The models look pretty much exactly like the ones in the game and it's stays pretty true to the spirit of the game even if it doesn't hit all the notes that make PV great. The renders and animations are decent as well

There are a few problems, but it's good. It's especially good when you keep in mind that it's a first effort. The Good: The renders and animation are all looking great. The quality is there visually and the writing is better than other commenters have alleged. The writing isn't quite as punchy as the original but still works to take the dialogue from scene to scene. The Bad: There's too much going on. It's just a bit too busy. There's too many characters, only two of which we really know. I might be the only one but I totally forgot who Erik was. When it comes to the actual sex scenes there are a LOT of cuts and different angles. I kind of wished that Sumatra had just focused on two or three positions and then really nailed the camera angles for each of those positions. Sometimes less is more. The facial expressions that are so important to the base game aren't really used quite as well. This probably sounds worse than it is, because unfortuantely this game has to be compared to the OG Power Vacuum, which is really really hard to top. The Weird: Nothing all that weird about it tbh. The only real problem is that it doesn't quite feel like Power Vacuum. Ophelia and Peter are the only major characters in it we really recognize and the editing style is noticeably faster than the base game. It's good. Please don't take this as me ragging on the game, as it's great for what it is. I hope Sumatra takes another attempt at a fan made What If... and ties it more closely into the game lore. That or just takes this same energy and puts it into their own original game.
