About Project Exilium: Breeding Protocol

Nocturnal Illusions created the sci-fi roguelike deck-builder Project Exilium: Breeding Protocol, built with Ren'Py and presented through 2D CG, AI CG, and animated visuals. It blends tactical card play with adult content in a dystopian fantasy setting, drawing on Slay the Spire-style strategy. You guide a playable hero through branching dungeon runs, with Louise available as a supporter-exclusive hero in this build.

Development is ongoing with v0.4 released on August 20, 2026 for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, uncensored. The update adds fifteen adult scenes, five enemy types, an intro cinematic, branching dungeon generation, a four-act campaign with bosses, and Ascension unlocks five difficulty tiers after the campaign is cleared. It also fixes card play and click errors, dialogue image overlap, and color-codes character names.
