Lots of new Tom Bowen scenes after his shatter, now he will actually reflect if you did shatter him in a way or another, bring him clubbing, talk to him at the lab or go out on the evening with him to test it out! Check also what happens in the morning if he ends up sleeping in your bed
New Hoffman Family Content - Symbiotic route
A large batch of new material across the whole household — multiple new events and explicit scenes spanning Karen, Dale, the twins, and Jess, plus new route beats and an expanded symbiotic-route finale. That's thousands of words of new prose and a stack of new images and videos to find. Also, check out the expanded ending!
Journal Rework
The Hoffman family journal is now a proper scene collector. Every scene you reach becomes a card, route-locked content you can't reach on this playthrough can be unlocked with skill points, and each entry has its own recap with all of its art. *(Still a work in progress — expect a few rough edges, flagged in-game.)*
Mod Support
Project Hivemind now ships with a modding runtime: custom events and content can be loaded as mods, with a companion **Mod Studio** for building and test-driving your own. Jump on discord if you need any help with modding or simply if you want to try it out!

Rewriting:
Dropped a lot of the AI generated text that was lingering over in the symbiotic route and rewrote it, around 80% of the passages that used AI written text were rewritten

I really like the unique prose of this dev. It's rather refreshing in its own way after you get used to it. Do have two major critiques though. First being that biomass management just takes too long and isn't all that engaging. I like the idea conceptually of the organism trying to balance growth with the continued corruption of the host family, but it just ends up turning into "advance day -> grab daily biomass -> advance corruption where you can -> repeat" Second is much more minor, but a way to replay unlocked scenes would be greatly appreciated. Save games can kind of migrate this but a true replay system would be amazing.
I really want to like the game, but the pacing is extremely slow based off the significant level of grinding required and a continual revisiting of the world with minimal to no indication of what you're really trying to do. I spent 9 hours to barely scratch the surface of the adult material and that was using cheats to expedite efficient progress grains. This makes for a great paranormal puzzle game but for a poor adult game.
a bit obscure a bit grindy but a lovely piece of work, if you are not bothered by text or the ai porn and like me enjoy the parasitism idea you will be well served here. at some point just found my self playing because of curiosity.
To be honest, I don't get it. It seems like an incredibly unintuitive, grindy slog. I guess theoretically the fetishes would be good if I had any idea how to get to them or the interface wasn't awful and cumbersome.
Good progression, fun minigames and lots of room to expand. It has decent art, even if it is AI, which gives a lot more flexibility, but you can tell that a decent amount of time has been spent selecting the correct pictures.
I started playing for porn, but was drawn into an adventure GAME (with some porn), and I like it.most of the game is about you infecting ppl or animals without the suspicion level rising. Okayish. Good game.
Well done, developer. The game is enjoyable and does a great job of capturing the player's attention. Personally, I would have simplified some aspects to focus more on the story, but I understand the direction the developer was aiming for. I encountered no errors, the user experience is functional and intuitive, and the plot is engaging and interesting.
V1.5a This game took me by surprise. The management of ressources is taken seriously with many inventive mechanics. The game is a slow burn at first, sneaking around, trying to obtain insights about the house, household, and other aspects to level up. Slowly you can spread your influence, but beware of too high suspicion. The gradual corruption of the household members is very well done and it seems somewhat organic - pun intended. Multiple routes per member can be followed, supporting different fetishes. It took me 37 ingame days to reach chapter 3 (not using cheats except skipping the bugged minigames), which was about 12 hours in real time for my very first try. I am sure I would be faster on a new run, but I am not sure if I enjoy the different routes enough to do it. I am looking forward to new chapters, hopefully involving infecting the neighborhood and even the lab. I would like to guide the lab ladies in their research to improve the hiveminds capabilities to reach world domination at some point. I recommend to try this game, I give 5 stars for genuinely enjoying it. The issues I have with the game may be routed in this game still being in an early state: Similar to other reviews, the amount of text is becoming overwhelming and quite repetetive. White text is indicating what is generally happening, and the text inside the green boxes is your hivemind thoughts summarizing it all, leading to quickly bother reading the green boxes only. Later, multiple green boxes appear per event and those become much more repetetive again. In all, the AI text repetition and awkward phrasing makes the reading more annoying and one limits interactions to clicking the available options. Also, some actions need to be done multiple times to achieve higher corruption options, while other actions dont seem to have any impact by repeating them. Some tell you in the text that further repetition will lead to extras but other texts do not and still need to be repeated. It would be great to have a little highlight next to action-links to see which need to be repeated to further the story - make it all consistent. Consistency is also often broken - inside the mechanics themselves and also the story. For the latter, e.g., I managed to get to the shower sex scene between Ryan and Karen, and later when Ryan interacted with Megan into penetration, the text said it was Ryans first time - which wasnt true in this case. Then mechanics wise, some actions by the infected pets lead back to the network page, while other actions bring you to the pet-specific action page and you have to click on network or links to upstairs and downstairs. Those seem to be survivor pages from early versions. When on the network page, depending on the animal chosen, the different locations are having colored frames, e.g. for the Rat the upper floor is highlighted orange, while other locations are green. Nowhere is explained what that means; Is it a danger/suspicion level? But walking around does not increase suspicion... Are there actions to be done? Not exactly... who knows... At some point one reaches a skill level that you do not need to switch between the pets to do their actions, yet many late actions of the dog are only available when choosing the dog as a host.
Incredible concept and pretty good structure so far. Lots of options and fetishes on display here, which is pretty incredible. Will definitely be watching the progress here. That doesn't mean I don't have concerns. 1. adding so many branching paths and options makes it difficult to explore all the options, and this is supposedly only one overarching "path"? It's making me want to give up before I even start. 2. the game is pretty damn grindy. It's even still annoying using the cheat menu, I can't imagine playing through the game legit. 3. the game is slow burn. Not bad in and of itself, but when you have so many subjects and options and the game is also grindy, it compounds the issues. I simply cannot keep up with all of it at once. My eyes started glazing over the pages and pages of text and skipping over the actual stats and effects of my actions and just clicking through every new option. Overall, a pretty high-effort project that seems to be falling into a bit of a slop-trap. Sometimes less is more. Note: There seems to be some kind of bug with Ryan's Fem route and Karen's Dom routes where I didn't get their scenes. I think that might have left some flags untripped too, which broke the Futa route and combo scenes.
A good starting point, i can see alot of potential her. I can't wait to see what other route you come up with and what the future holds for this. I hope it doesn't get abandoned I'm kind of curious what would be an option outside of the symbiose route
Awesome game. Lots of content for such an early version, my favorite fetish, interesting minigames (even though I disabled some). I didn't really like the AI's realistic approach; sometimes the characters' looks don't match, but it's not a big deal, and the illustrations are well done. Personally, I'd prefer more anime-style AI. There are even short looping animations. The bugs are minor and don't detract from the gameplay. The only bug is that you can "watch your family" at night, which replays what are clearly daytime kitchen encounters. This game is definitely going into my favorites, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the game's story and fetishes. Sorry for my Google Translate.
Very promising concept! Cg's are generally ok, although they were made with AI. The prologue and first chapter turned out very well; it will be interesting to see alternative routes. I liked that completely different routes are planned in the prologue and during the first chapter, although, in my limited experience working on large projects, it's impossible to immediately fulfill all the ambitions. So perhaps a good solution would be to reduce the branching, but fully implement the main routes, and implement the rest in expansions or other parts. I would also be glad to have the opportunity to support the author; what they've already done looks like a largely finished project.
I'm not the biggest fan of AI, but excluding all that, this game is pretty messy right now. I like the host system, I like the mini game variety, and I like the inklings of story that are being shown... and that's about it. I like reading, but I dislike AI text, especially because it just says the same things 20x over, and that happened so often that I disengaged with it for a while. There is a kind of 'wordle'(?) minigame that just full on lies to you. The AP and Biomass system make sense, but walking around before getting Seamless just felt so bad after a while, and after I got it, I'd just spend ~25 minutes clicking through the entire house as that one host. The many systems are nice, but I feel they could be easily conciser. I didn't play until the lab event triggered, but I do see potential here. I'm a big fan of 'parasite' games, so I do hope what I say comes off as constructive.
Its FINE Short review: Its worth playing, just gloss over the filler, a lot of it is just a waste of time. I'm gonna gloss over the fact its AI because I dont care, and neither do you, probably. On its face, the AI pictures are, IMO, better then the realporn images that our grandads used back in ye olden days. The part I'm having issues with, is how its used in the writing The first thing I noticed is the repetition, the rule of 3, the "not x but y" use. real techniques that are taught in writing class. Its also telltale sign that AI wrote something. Way it was written was that the author needed more in-between writing so the story wouldnt go to 0% to porn. While some of it IS interesting and isnt 100% chatgpt, but real outlines the author's used which were later fluffed up with AI. It leads to a lot of repetition, much of the information, timelines, scheduales and inner monologues are simply worthless and wont actually impact anything. The worst part is, if you DO pay attention, you will actually notice inconsistencies because AI cant remember things so good. Filler is a bit annoying in a normal work. When the filler is also AI, its straight up not worth it, so you can just skip over A LOT of stuff because it doesnt matter. What I do think was done pretty well is the different skills system, theres adaptations and skills that you can unlock, and having the right combination of them will allow you to complete operations that progress the game. Things like dream manipulation or pheromone trails. Or reducing your risk and suspicion. Its a really interesting system and I really like it. Theres also information-gathering skills for thoughts reading. Which I wish were more interesting, but usually arent because of what I said above.
Excellent premise with clearly a lot of care and love put into it. Definitely in the absolute top tier of first releases. The only two issues I have are the relative lack of porn, and the forced minigames, but overall it's rock solid.
A strong start for a first release. The amount of content available in version 1 is genuinely impressive and provides a solid foundation for future updates. During my experience, I didn’t encounter any bugs. AI used in a competent way, without the typical major errors often seen in pictures. A better communication of when events should be available or the next step might be helpful at times. I disabled minigames and removed RNG in my playthrough so i cant comment on the quality of those. Having worse RNG while getting "stronger" is a choice that might be revisited.
The game is fairly grindy and kinda verbose, could use a little bit less text walls and more frequent porn (i played for hours and barely got to see some bean flicking). Still, minigames are varied, some more challenging than others (you could always cheat to resolve them with rng, appreciate the choice) and every mechanic (biomass, skill/adaptation points, targets "corruption") feels very diegetic. Writing sure plays a huge part in this, as it's very good (maybe the best "parasite pov" i've seen), but the game as a whole gives the impression that the dev has a clear vision and is building towards something specific. I'd give 4 stars as it could still improve a lot (not counting the missing content, that's a given in a game still in the works), but as it kept me glued to the screen for hours even without much porn and it's a passion project (dev's not monetizing it), i think it deserves full score. If you like the theme and enjoy good storytelling, give it a shot.
Always thought these kinds of games where you observe and make suddle changes are fun. Could have endless possibilities, so many routes and different results. Not a fan of minigames usually, this game had only 1-2 puzzle minigame things that i just didn't understand or it was a bug, but dev saw this coming and added an option to skip with rng as a punishment for being dumb or lazy... lol
Total playtime spent: 6hrs. Very unusual game - corruption from non-human feels interesting. But in current stage it's not a porn game unfortunately. It's game with porn images sometimes. I played near 4hrs of active clicking and got +- same progress which I got with cheats for 30 minutes. And it's really the problem: here is huge grind walls and resource control system + complex mini game with phones + all mini-games are time limited. Cheats partially resolve grinding but even with cheats and disabling mini games you still need to abuse saves, make multiple try* to do some actions and click-click-click. It's too repetitive at current stage. Good potential? Yes. But have small suggestion for author: you need to decide - is it porn\erotic game where 18+ content has core idea or its just good html game. Because as html game it's probably 7\10 - pretty specific gameplay, but for someone it's good catch. In the same time as adult game it's 2\10 as for now (in best case). P.s. I want to explain how mini-games work here: you could either play them and be rewarded\punished by result (save before each attempt is good idea) or you could disable mini-games in cheats menu (Status page -> scroll till the end of the page). But it will not give you autowin in minigame -> it will make it random with some probability (25\50\75%). Even with all cheats there were a lot of checks where text says 50% of probability but I made 5 attempts once, then 7 in another one with same 50% described... Probably it's the single one game on this site where disabling mini-games make getting reward random.
Very in depth mechanics, can't wait to see where this project goes, feels like a text only game so i don't mind the ai in this instance as the game is decent enough without images, i do wish the mechanics were more sandboxy as in its current state you are sort of forced to advance everything or you will get softlocked, other than that i can see this becoming something great
