First Release
Very promising concept! Cg's are generally ok, although they were made with AI. The prologue and first chapter turned out very well; it will be interesting to see alternative routes. I liked that completely different routes are planned in the prologue and during the first chapter, although, in my limited experience working on large projects, it's impossible to immediately fulfill all the ambitions. So perhaps a good solution would be to reduce the branching, but fully implement the main routes, and implement the rest in expansions or other parts. I would also be glad to have the opportunity to support the author; what they've already done looks like a largely finished project.
Its FINE Short review: Its worth playing, just gloss over the filler, a lot of it is just a waste of time. I'm gonna gloss over the fact its AI because I dont care, and neither do you, probably. On its face, the AI pictures are, IMO, better then the realporn images that our grandads used back in ye olden days. The part I'm having issues with, is how its used in the writing The first thing I noticed is the repetition, the rule of 3, the "not x but y" use. real techniques that are taught in writing class. Its also telltale sign that AI wrote something. Way it was written was that the author needed more in-between writing so the story wouldnt go to 0% to porn. While some of it IS interesting and isnt 100% chatgpt, but real outlines the author's used which were later fluffed up with AI. It leads to a lot of repetition, much of the information, timelines, scheduales and inner monologues are simply worthless and wont actually impact anything. The worst part is, if you DO pay attention, you will actually notice inconsistencies because AI cant remember things so good. Filler is a bit annoying in a normal work. When the filler is also AI, its straight up not worth it, so you can just skip over A LOT of stuff because it doesnt matter. What I do think was done pretty well is the different skills system, theres adaptations and skills that you can unlock, and having the right combination of them will allow you to complete operations that progress the game. Things like dream manipulation or pheromone trails. Or reducing your risk and suspicion. Its a really interesting system and I really like it. Theres also information-gathering skills for thoughts reading. Which I wish were more interesting, but usually arent because of what I said above.
I'm not the biggest fan of AI, but excluding all that, this game is pretty messy right now. I like the host system, I like the mini game variety, and I like the inklings of story that are being shown... and that's about it. I like reading, but I dislike AI text, especially because it just says the same things 20x over, and that happened so often that I disengaged with it for a while. There is a kind of 'wordle'(?) minigame that just full on lies to you. The AP and Biomass system make sense, but walking around before getting Seamless just felt so bad after a while, and after I got it, I'd just spend ~25 minutes clicking through the entire house as that one host. The many systems are nice, but I feel they could be easily conciser. I didn't play until the lab event triggered, but I do see potential here. I'm a big fan of 'parasite' games, so I do hope what I say comes off as constructive.
The game is fairly grindy and kinda verbose, could use a little bit less text walls and more frequent porn (i played for hours and barely got to see some bean flicking). Still, minigames are varied, some more challenging than others (you could always cheat to resolve them with rng, appreciate the choice) and every mechanic (biomass, skill/adaptation points, targets "corruption") feels very diegetic. Writing sure plays a huge part in this, as it's very good (maybe the best "parasite pov" i've seen), but the game as a whole gives the impression that the dev has a clear vision and is building towards something specific. I'd give 4 stars as it could still improve a lot (not counting the missing content, that's a given in a game still in the works), but as it kept me glued to the screen for hours even without much porn and it's a passion project (dev's not monetizing it), i think it deserves full score. If you like the theme and enjoy good storytelling, give it a shot.
Excellent premise with clearly a lot of care and love put into it. Definitely in the absolute top tier of first releases. The only two issues I have are the relative lack of porn, and the forced minigames, but overall it's rock solid.
A strong start for a first release. The amount of content available in version 1 is genuinely impressive and provides a solid foundation for future updates. During my experience, I didn’t encounter any bugs. AI used in a competent way, without the typical major errors often seen in pictures. A better communication of when events should be available or the next step might be helpful at times. I disabled minigames and removed RNG in my playthrough so i cant comment on the quality of those. Having worse RNG while getting "stronger" is a choice that might be revisited.
Always thought these kinds of games where you observe and make suddle changes are fun. Could have endless possibilities, so many routes and different results. Not a fan of minigames usually, this game had only 1-2 puzzle minigame things that i just didn't understand or it was a bug, but dev saw this coming and added an option to skip with rng as a punishment for being dumb or lazy... lol
Total playtime spent: 6hrs. Very unusual game - corruption from non-human feels interesting. But in current stage it's not a porn game unfortunately. It's game with porn images sometimes. I played near 4hrs of active clicking and got +- same progress which I got with cheats for 30 minutes. And it's really the problem: here is huge grind walls and resource control system + complex mini game with phones + all mini-games are time limited. Cheats partially resolve grinding but even with cheats and disabling mini games you still need to abuse saves, make multiple try* to do some actions and click-click-click. It's too repetitive at current stage. Good potential? Yes. But have small suggestion for author: you need to decide - is it porn\erotic game where 18+ content has core idea or its just good html game. Because as html game it's probably 7\10 - pretty specific gameplay, but for someone it's good catch. In the same time as adult game it's 2\10 as for now (in best case). P.s. I want to explain how mini-games work here: you could either play them and be rewarded\punished by result (save before each attempt is good idea) or you could disable mini-games in cheats menu (Status page -> scroll till the end of the page). But it will not give you autowin in minigame -> it will make it random with some probability (25\50\75%). Even with all cheats there were a lot of checks where text says 50% of probability but I made 5 attempts once, then 7 in another one with same 50% described... Probably it's the single one game on this site where disabling mini-games make getting reward random.
Very in depth mechanics, can't wait to see where this project goes, feels like a text only game so i don't mind the ai in this instance as the game is decent enough without images, i do wish the mechanics were more sandboxy as in its current state you are sort of forced to advance everything or you will get softlocked, other than that i can see this becoming something great
