Pure Love

Probably the worst visual novel I've ever played (and that's coming from someone with over 800 GB of visual novels) The story, the characters, the sex scenes... it's all awful. I don't usually give such harsh reviews, but this game is one of the few I've ever given up on before finishing it.

a decent game all in all. There is not much in terms of sex scenes, the girls all look like bimbos(especially the main three). Not much in terms of story. Spoiler Looks like the story will continue in part 2 and that feels like it would have more story than just fucking the girls

It's like the game creator played a bunch of the games on this site, made a list of all the most overused stupid devices, and jammed them all in together. Sibs/childhood friends that talk as though they've never met? Check. Drop dead gorgeous girls with expensive makeup and hair who know nothing about sex and are virgins? Check. LIs who are initially comically hostile and then instantly fall in love with MC for no discernible reason? Affirmative. Older matronly-type hottie massaging MC's knob to "help him with his problem?" Jesus. Only having anal & preg tags because of some daydreams or whatever the hell type of hallucinations happened there at the end? Ugh. Speaking of tags, are there any criteria for slapping a "romance" tag on a game? This would be a good benchmark for a game that should not have that tag: you can't romance women that are already in love with you, all you can do is delay their first sex scene for no valid reason. Toss in some awful (and re-used) closeups of weirdly goopy lady bits, and animations that don't resemble human movement at all, and that is Pure Love.

I love this game and I haven't played a game in which there were as many fuck scenes as in this. But what amazes me a little as the MC got through this fucking. Now it is a fiction but still not of bad parents. The animations are great, especially all the blowjobs are very good. The women are also really great. Aside from the face of the female models. The game is alright. Being kinetic, it felt like reading a shota harem manga. Just the lead not being a shota, but acting like one. Clara and Max were good models too.

This game is basically a harem with some fancy justifications on how the girls get around the incest and why every other guy suck except MC. If you are fine with big boobs girls with botox injections this is the game for you. The good point is that you don't need to think about missing scenes: all choices are inconsequential, just follow the story and the scenes.

(0.9.5) The story in the beginning was fairly amusing, enough to overlook the occasional mistake or weird cracks in images or weird looking sex scenes. But the lack of quality becomes worse and worse further you get. The MC has ridiculous amount of plot armor, always gets his way, is practically a doormat except during some sub/dom scenes, then he is all of a sudden dom? Story itself; I haven't the foggiest idea what the f**** the story was about xD something with ruling a country but indirect? The BS about a spy, introducing herself as a spy... Yeah, it didn't make sense anymore after that. Around that point I stopped. My guess is the dev didn't plan out his story from start to finish and improvised a lot. The weird sentences and phrasings didn't help either with comprehending the story. Last but not least the deus exploratorum (ex machina) was the last straw that broke the camels back. I give it 2 stars simply because I kinda liked the intro, the cute jealousy between ava and lily (in the beginning). But minus 3 for everything I wrote above. I can't go higher than poor, because this is a poorly crafted story. I don't know if its lack of effort, experience, expertise or a mix, but this could have been better.

Spoiler: ”Technical review” Most of the graphics are great, but there are skin cracks in quite a few renders that were either ignored or not checked after rendering. There’s also some artifacting in places, but that’s not terrible. The animations are weird though, mostly clipping issues, though also some strange anatomical things as well; this is one you’ll just have to see for yourself. Sound is good; occasional sound effects are included and the music choices are terrific, but there are normalization issues—some audio is overly loud, some is whisper quiet. If you lower the volume for the loud music, you won’t hear music for most of the game. Spoiler: ”General gameplay review” There are choices occasionally sprinkled into the story, but none of them seem to make a difference. I haven’t checked the script, but I suspect there are no variables being checked anywhere and everything loops back to the one path very quickly (maybe a difference of 5-10 lines for each variation); that would explain the kinetic novel tag. The story is okay, but this definitely feels like a game of two stories with a short, weird transition into the second story around Days 5-6 with the introduction of Aunt Clara. Story 1 is a slice of life story centered around MC's daily life that just happens to have a couple of houseguests who know the MC's aunt. Story 2 is a story of intrigue that follows MC and his harem (that's not a spoiler, the game is tagged harem) through Eve and Lilly's mother's political machinations as queen of a foreign power, their nation's enemies, spies, and mercenaries (that one was definitely a spoiler and despite this review being spoilered off, gets its own inline spoiler; you're welcome). Had there been more exposition of the characters being introduced, the two stories would have felt more like one seamless story. All it would have required is a few extra lines here and there. Here, I’ll show you: Spoiler: ”Sample exposition. Not in the script, probably should have been” These aren't technically spoilers since they aren't technically in the script, but since they probably should have been in the script because they give a little bit of exposition (WITHOUT telling the whole story), they do actually contain some of the circumreferential exposition of what I've been calling Story 2 without actually revealing the twists. Spoiler: ”Where does Aunt Clara work?” Ava: She works for Lilly’s mom in the Government of Grandeur. MC: … Ava: It’s a foreign government, idiot. Ava: I don’t understand how you forget everything. Ava: You’d lose your head if it weren’t attached. MC: I’m not that bad… Ava: But seriously, how do you not remember where Aunt Clara lives? Ava: You know she’d come more often to visit if she was just a couple of doors down. MC: Hrm… I guess. Ava: Ugh, why are you like this? Spoiler: ”Why are Lilly and Eve here?” Clara: Lilly really wanted to meet you and she’s bringing along her, uh… best friend… and well, we figured this was a great time to come down to the island for a vacation. Clara: In any case, they live down the road from me here in Grandeur. MC: Gran… deur? Clara: Don’t be silly, it’s where I live. Clara: You’re there. I’m here. Clara: Oh, you’re so cute when you’re forgetful. Clara: Now, I know I don’t have to remind you like I do Ava… * MC gives a short glance to Ava while listening to Clara. Ava: Hey, why that look? Clara: … but be nice to them. They’re family friends and I work for her mom. Clara: Anyway, I’ll see you in a few days. Clara: Take care, MC, I love you. Also tell your sister I love her, too. MC: Bye Aunt Clara, I love you. * MC disconnects the call. MC: Aunt Clara can’t make it, she got held up at work… in Grandeur? Ava: You forgot again, didn’t you? Ava: MC! MC: But! She said we’re going to have company until she gets back… * Ava gives a sideways glance. MC: She said to be nice. Ava: That’s dumb, you’re always nice. MC: She said for you to be nice… * Ava has a shocked Pikachu moment. Ava: What ?! I am nice! * Ava furrows her brow. Ava: I can be nice . * Ava looks gives a wry grin. Ava: … when I need to be. Spoiler: ”Who is Lilly’s mother?” Lilly: She uh… she works in the government of Grandeur… MC: … Lilly: You… haven’t heard of Grandeur? Lilly: Well… Lilly: I guess it’s not the most important country. Lilly: But we were at war recently! Lilly: Though not any more. Thankfully… MC: … Lilly: … and there’s always the usual infighting between the royal houses… Lilly: I always assumed everyone had heard about it. You don’t even have to use a separate narrator to exposit a character, sometimes just having them say something in their own voice and style will suffice. Again, it didn’t have to be two stories. We could have been gracefully led into the second half of a much larger story than feeling like this is two completely different stories. Basic questions with one or two sentence responses; the answers didn’t even have to be completely truthful (the samples I gave kept up the characters’ façade without outright blowing the surprise), and the responses could have led into further exposition down the road, something like this: Spoiler: ”***MASSIVE SPOILER*** Warning, this will take you all the way into Story 2” MC: Queen?! Why didn’t you say your mom was the queen ?! Lilly: What would your first reaction have been if I had said I love you, I want to marry you, by the way my mom is the Queen of Grandeur, and that will make you king someday ?! MC: Okay, fair point. Technically, I give this game a 3/5. For general gameplay, I give this game a 2/5. Against my better judgement, I'm going to round up to the three stars instead of rounding down to two. Honestly felt the developer was starting to get lazy towards the end of the game. Graphical issues started becoming more noticeable about halfway through the game, but that's not the end of the world (and it's accounted for in my score). My primary gripe is with writing quality in the late game, or rather the lack of writing quality. I try not to complain about grammar too often because I know a lot of writers are either ESL or might be fluent but it still isn't their native language so they miss minor things, and the writers who are native usually don't have a team of editors to make sure they aren't simply being lazy. However for two or three consecutive scenes, the writer gets exceedingly lax in their writing and starts dropping initialisms (OMG, WTF, BTW), making regular grammatical mistakes, commits spelling errors and character transpositions with surprising frequency. Again, if it's the norm for a developer I try to overlook it, but this developer spent the first half of the game keeping that to a minimum (those errors still occur, but not frequently) so I know it's laziness. Only reason I'm giving the developer the star back is because of how entertaining the final set of scenes (dream sequence) were. Honestly with the MC's levels of Gary Stu and how everything kept going his way no matter what circumstance he found himself in (even a bad situation like being lost far from civilization with only his Aunt for months ) , I had a certain expectation that those events were going to be canonical. Normally, I hate dream sequences , but defying expectations made it my favorite swerve in the game (and you know after the events of the game, MC is still going to get what he wants anyway). This is a guy who could go a craps table and roll sevens ad infinitum . So... kudos, I guess. 3 Stars.

So a couple of things, the story is not bad in this game. I actually enjoy it and love harem games as well so that's also a plus. The renders are shaped very nicely, not too hugely out of proportion like some other games. Now on to the bad stuff, have you ever tried reading something that the grammar is so bad it just kind of hurts your brain? That's how bad it is in this game, it get's really really bad to the point it just kind of ruins it for me. Now I'm sure the guy's first language isn't english, but he could've asked for help from someone who's first language is, would've made the game 10x better right off the bat. Some of the renders have cracks in them, and not like small not noticeable ones either. Like fairly large cracks in like the girls foreheads in some scenes, kind of offputting to be honest. Maybe he didn't notice them as they were done and threw them in to the game, I don't know but it's not cool. I unfortunately am not able to finish the game with the grammar as bad as it is, I'm sorry I know some might not think it's not that big of a deal but I can't stand it.

Review for: 0.9.5 Public I really don't know where to start with this title as I really wanted to enjoy it but found myself getting pulled out of the experience due to bad/strange writing. You are a twenty year old male who lives alone with his sister Ava. Their parents passed away years before and they were raised by their Aunt Clara. She is due to arrive at the airport with two other girls (her boss' daughter Lilly and her best friend Eve). However, Clara misses her flight so the girls arrive without her. Apparently, Clara has talked about the MC non-stop to the point that the girls are infatuated with him from the get-go. Oh, and Lilly is so "innocent", she doesn't even know what a penis is. WTF, really? Even the most sheltered prude knows what a penis and vagina are. This is when the writing starts to fall apart. Without too many spoilers, all I can say is the MC is either high as hell or doesn't get rattled by anything. Eve and Lilly are important people and if he marries one of them, he inherits some pretty major responsibilities. This revelation doesn't seem to faze him. He then learns about some terrible things his parents did prior to their death and, again, he takes it in stride without missing a beat. He's like a frigging Vulcan that shows no emotion. Outside of that, this title is a harem game. You can't choose to be with or not be with someone. Eve would never have gotten past first base after the crap she does but since MC is so loving and altruistic (sarcasm), she's forgiven and is added to the harem roster. These types of forced relationships aren't my cup of tea. Add to that, she and the MC have this Master/Slave dynamic which is totally not my thing. The renders are... okay. All of the women look like they have odd shaped ass implants and fake tits. Meanwhile, the MC has something like a 14" penis and that is it for me. I tried to look past it and succeeded, for the most part, until the writing just reached a point where I could no longer justify pushing through it.

terrible pacing . story less than average . and somehow the dev thought it was a good idea to forgive the gigantic cunt that drugged one of the characters and raped the mc even tho he basicly hated her . THE WORD LOVE MEANS NOTHING WHAT SO EVER IN THIS GAME

As of V0.8.2 PROS Model's looks good, including MC (which is a change) CONS NO CHOICES Scenes aren't great. Characters are unlikable. Forced into LI routes CONCLUSION You can always skip through for the scenes but don't expect anything other than that.

The preview images made me wonder how come this game had such a low score, so I decided to check it out (v.0.8.2). The reviews are actually quite right. The art is not that good, with animations being extremely inconsistent throughout the game. You have low resolution renders, badly designed renders, animations that are high res but have almost no details whatsoever... Story and writing are not good either. Do yourself a favor and skip this one for now.

Very good VN if you like vanilla stuff and eventually get a harem, yeah it's very unrealistic but what VN is realistic?, The characters are all fine to me maybe a little way into the mc from the get go but that's something I liked, no beating around the bush and the mc isn't just some ass that just thinks about getting into their pants he actually has moral conflicts about the things that impact others, I've been a patreon sub for a while now and the Dev is really nice whenever I've talked to him/her

Character models are completely unrealistic and unattractive. Why 14" cocks and size ZZZ breasts on everyone? Storyline and dialogue are weak. Much better games out there no matter what genre you're interested in (unless you're solely interested in ridiculous anatomy).

I don't care if you like the story this game is NOT 5 stars by any metric.

Great romance/love game, as the name suggests it is just pure love between MC and the girls. Characters are good looking and got little upgraded to the great category. MC's personality is nobel, good, kind, nice, brave all that related good stuff. Story is great for a romance game, and it's picking up with newer updates. Renders and animations are great too. Reading other reviews it seems like that the low rating is related more to earlier updates than newer updates. 10/10 recommends others to play, good luck to Mr.Axxx for future development of the game.

This is one of the most hideous games i played to date. The face proportions look like a facelifting job done by a side street doctor. The english is unreadable and hurts my soul. At least it has no sandbox. That is at least a good point. I cant tell anything about the plot because it seems nonexistent or hidden like the dark souls lore. The conversations seem to be pretty disconnected, as if the people cant hear what the other says and interpret what they think they heard and answer to it. The MC is a loner retard. Edit: Lilly has the mental capacity of an infant and doesnt know what sex and porn is. sheesh my brotha. Edit2: I dont know if my eyes got cancer but the faces seem to get better later in the game, after the ship scenes Edit3: The plot thickens. After the revamp of the female faces later in the game, the game transformed into something with sci-fi elements, weird choice of story developement but okay. THE END for now. Oh and you only get the chance to fuck your "sister" a few times and none of the other 3 (maybe 4?) woman

Reads like it was written by Tarzan. "Me (name), you Lilly, ooga-booga!" And the girls are all hideous. It's like the dev has never seen a woman not named Kardashian before. I don't know how these girls can hold their heads up considering their lips weight at least 10 lbs. Couldn't even make it to the first sex scene before quitting this game.

I don't like the MC not having any real choices in situations that he should've have, and the story is all over the place. the renders are good , the translation is poor , but the female characters look scary and creepy ; they have some facial gestures that are nightmarish and horrible.
