About the Game
Queens Of The Sea introduces a unique take on the adult visual novel and dating sim genres with a story told from the point of view of dual protagonists: Lieutenant John Silver of the Royal Navy and the young noblewoman Sarah Bonnet, who are captured by a pirate crew made entirely of women. The pair quickly find themselves in the middle of a power struggle between different crews and even Empires all fighting for control over the Bahamas, and both must choose who to put their trust in. In QotS, the player jumps between John and Sarah's perspectives, guiding them both on their intertwining journeys with their own personal struggles and potential romantic partners. The game's characters, setting and story are all heavily inspired by real history as well as popular pirate media.
This visual novel is the love-child of a couple with a passion for games, storytelling, beautiful 2D art and, of course, hot pirates.

Added Chapter 4 to the game!
Momentarily removed the option to censor NSFW imagery. (Currently seems a waste of development time given the nature of the game, might add back in if there is actual demand for it.)
Bug fixes:
Anne and Blackmane should now display their names correctly in replays.

Slight alterations to a few of the existing character sprites (such as adding some pubic hair and piercings for Charlie).
Added new sparklier “Super Affection” icons for occasions where a character greatly appreciates a decision the player has made.

Fixed journal entries for the characters to be uniform in style.
Updated the character images on the journal pages to be a higher resolution.
Fixed the navigation buttons not working correctly on Sarah’s journal page.

Chapters 1&2
Added simple flash and screenshake effects to enhance “climactic” moments during previous intimate scenes with Anne.

Fixed some typos.
Probably other small changes that we can’t remember. (We haven’t kept a very organized list of all of them, which is something we’ll improve on going forward.)

What can you expect in this 0.1. release:
Chapters 1 - 2 of the story, lasting for ~ 1,5 - 2 hours for a single playthrough and with opportunities for replayability.
Introducing 2 playable main characters and a cast of 5 romanceable women (with at least one more planned for the next update).
Already a whole novel's worth of script with nearly 60 000 words, including plenty of choices and alternative ways for events to play out.
Lovingly drawn 2D art for every character, the exotic locations you get to visit and 5 unique romance scenes. (No Generative AI is used for our game!)

This is such a great game! The art is very well done, the writing is great and the plot looks set to be pretty good too, it's starting to thicken! (And thick things are always good...) I love the reimagining of such a cool and popular setting in History and some iconic characters as well. The variety of choices is amazing, how I can shape my characters with that kind of detail as well. The variety of ethnic backgrounds, sexualities and gender expression is also a huge plus. If I could leave a wee suggestion? To add even more interesting variety, maybe consider also adding one or two GILF characters and one or two BBW characters, so few games have characters like that! A pubic hair selector for the ladies would be pretty cool too, there's a game called JASON that has a very good one, maybe something similar? Anyways, keep up the awesome work devs! (And keep that sweet, sweet femdom content coming...)

Pretty good so far, but very early in development. I like the characters and the artwork. There also are a lot of choices that will hopefully lead to unique outcomes. Right now just hope the game can have a regular release pace and gets fleshed out more.
