Racing Toward Death

“We, creators, our works are the radiance of life.” One day, a dull, average host in the nightlife industry by the name of Katsuro meets “Shiki Machiyuki”, a self-doubtful, desperate and divorced woman around her 30s. As they form a relationship, he discovers that she is “Saison”, a depressive anime writer causing a stir across the world. Upon discovering her artistic talents, Katsuro finds himself entering the world of creativity. Working together, they find themselves time and time again considering death. Despite their differing opinions and strained relationship, they try to confront the challenge of creating art within the front lines of the industry. ​
