In the future, the world has been engulfed in the bitter cold of an ice age. And yet, Tokyo is surviving with its use of geothermal heat pipes to keep the city habitable. Within this frozen city, So’un and Ethica make their living working for the Karasuzumi Living Dead Stalker Office; contract killers who spend their working days executing necromancers and their undead minions. On one such mission, they discover a mysterious girl who had been kidnapped by a necromancer for reasons unknown... Spoiler: Trailer & Characters PROTAGONISTS Nagaoka So’un He’s an expert Living Dead Stalker, one who takes his job very seriously. He isn’t the best at expressing his emotions, but always keeps a level head. Kibanohara Ethica She’s got a fiery personality, perfectly paired with a high capacity shotgun and a chainsaw spec’d to be as loud and flashy as possible. Before you get any ideas about a workplace romance between our two heroes, you should know that Ethica is exclusively into ladies. OTHER IMPORTANT CHARACTERS Aso Kiriri An officer in the Military Police, and also Ethica’s childhood friend. Consu Manager of a shop in the Hyper Ghetto, specializing in selling antiquated junk hardware. She serves as an important source of intelligence for the Living Dead Stalkers, and also possesses machinery needed to experiment on the undead. Gijo Mitsumi A living dead stalker working for a rival agency. She uses a katana that vibrates at supersonic speeds which, combined with her peerless swordsmanship, make her extraordinarily adept at killing the dead. Hogyo Iria The girl discovered by So'un and Ethica while hunting down a necromancer. She seems particularly gifted at getting people to open up to her, but has a strange fascination with 20th century otaku culture. Her language is peppered with dated slang.
