About Reconstruction
Reconstruction is a Ren'Py visual novel by Rebelion, set in a future world where medical progress makes a single pill enough to heal wounds. You play a male protagonist whose parents vanish and leave debt, after which Cara adopts him and helps repay it. The 3DCG animated presentation supports a story about romance, harem, and teasing in a world that feels harsh beneath its advanced surface.
The current build is an ongoing v0.2 release dated November 21, 2024. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, without censorship. The latest update adds more than 1400 renders, over 8000 codes, 80 or more music tracks, 40 or more sound effects, and an improved interface. The earlier v0.1.5 fixed grammar and bugs, while v0.1 was the initial release.
Developer's description
A future world - where everything develops quickly and especially in Medicine. With just one pill, all the wounds will be healed immediately. And right now, you’re living in that amazing world. But ironically, your parents, they have disappeared for no reason. Only to make your life more difficult because you have to pay off the debt left by your parents. You thought everything was deadlocked. But with a glimpse of hope shining on you, you have been adopted by Cara and together you have paid back the amount owed. And many others will always help you when needed. And then, you realize… you have to live in a harsh world, not the wonderful one as many people think this is.
