The pacing and the writing is fantastic especially for a 1st update! I was skeptical about how this game would measure up but it absolutely blew me away in more ways than one. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I really liked this one so far. Does the dynamics kinda right and is not just a phone game. The head of FMC looks a bit too big compared to the body, but otherwise the graphics are alright. Hope to see future updates with more kinks. These games tend to turn the women into mindless sluts. I would wish for some balance and a lot of teasing and good cuckold stuff.
This was a really good start. Finally a hotwife that is young and slim. She looks amazing. It feels like the Choices make sence and you have options. I will definately follow this story and look forward to see the progress.
I like the game so far, the speed at which the story develops and the realism of a possible real story, really let's me enjoy the story line more. I really feel like this could be a true story any where in the world.
Another AI-NTR game. Boring... if it weren't for a few differences from the usual garbage. I like the decision that the player can control the scenes to some extent with their choices. They're not just a detached observer but can actively participate in the action. What I like less, once again, is the graphic design. The protagonist's appearance changes far too often, both in terms of figure and face. Her age seems to fluctuate between 12 and 22. Some proportions are also off, resulting in a disproportionately large head in certain scenes. And the face changes too frequently, making it seem like there are three or four different girls. A little more control over image selection (and I say this about virtually every AI game) would significantly boost the rating. Normally, it would get the usual three stars. But the aforementioned possibility of making the story a little more explicit, and not just being a silent observer, earns the fourth star.
Yeah, maybe 5 stars is too much if that's means excellence, furthermore, it doesn't reach the level of the top ones. Renders aren't over average and neither the storyline and yet I stay with 5 stars and I explain why. The storyline still works and keep the suspense whitout going around the bushes. Dialogues are always useful no side storys, no irrelevant conversation. A big point for not keeping the usual recipe, they put some original ideas I welcome. Also, dev already anticipated 5 routes. can be guessed vanilla, cheat, cuck (maybe sub and dom) not sure the last one. This is something promising. Last, is not the kind of slow burning where after 2 years developing and over 15 updates you never reach the action. You get sex scenes soon and still the game can keep going further. And yes, also because it's promising by now I hope this gives the dev a lil help.
I'll make this simple... If you don't like the hotwife/cuckold dynamic, you will HATE this story. Move on to something else. There are two paths in the story right now. Vanilla = early(ish) ending. Be warned...the wife pushes (hard) to get you/the mc to admit your cuckold fantasy... You can keep saying no or avoiding all you want, she will continue to tease, push. Until...you finally let her know you're mad about the club, say no to continuing 'exploring', and the story ends... Hotwife/Cuckold = well, should be self explanatory. If you make the choices, don't get cold feet at the last second cuck...because it's entirely way too late for putting a stop to what's going to happen... There is no traditional 'swinging', yet. There is no stag-vixen or sharing dynamic, yet. There's potential for them, but don't hold your breath. This is 100% hotwife/cuckold material. So, with that in mind... This is an outstanding hotwife/cuckold story. Comments complain about the images, consistency, etc.; and that's fair criticism. However, the images are good enough. The five paths: - Vanilla: currently, ends the story, goes back to main menu without proceeding to the final prologue-chapter Diego scene. - Cheating: looks like it'll focus on Diego. The current scene has different dialogue depending on conditions, but I don't know if the full cheat path is in the story, yet... I couldn't get the 'cheat' dialogue without a mod. Paths not in v0.10, but choices available at the end of current content. - Jason: MC's friend - Victor: couple's neighbor - Jermaine: 'professional' bull
Alright, gather around everyone. Grab a drink. Maybe two. Maybe the whole bottle. Because i have a story to tell you about a game that promised me choices, looked me dead in the eyes, and then did whatever it wanted anyway. Much like my ex-wife. But I digress. Rediscovering Us -- beautiful title, isn t it? Hopeful, even. Rediscovering Us. Like a couples retreat brochure. Like a self-help book you find on a park bench. I booted this thing up with genuine optimism in my heart and the naive belief that when a Visual Novel says "multiple paths," it means... multiple paths. Oh, sweet summer me. But wait — before we even get INTO the game, let me read you something. A message from the developer himself. Because this is important. This is foundational. Grab a seat. The developer says -- and i am quoting directly here -- "While a vanilla path is available, the main focus of the story is around how far the couple is willing to push their boundaries". Okay! Fair enough! Honest! I respect the transparency! He said it twice actually, in the same description, just to make sure we understood. The man is passionate about his thesis. I can work with this. He also says: "The first release will be entirely free and covers the couple s exploration of their own fantasies between just the two of them. There is the potential for many branching paths beyond this." POTENTIAL. Beautiful word. Full of hope. Full of promise. Like a lottery ticket before you scratch it. AND THEN -- the cherry on top -- "I will be posting regular polls for subscribers to determine which of the game s five main paths should be developed next!" Five paths! FIVE! The man has FIVE paths planned! He's running POLLS! Democracy in action! The players have a VOICE! ...Inside the game, however, that voice is completely inaudible. But we ll get to that. Let s talk about the Love Path -- or as i ve started calling it, the "Vanilla Path " -- because the dev was kind enough to mention it exists. Twice. It is available. He wants you to know it s available. It is there. Technically. In the way that a fire exit is technically available even when someone has put a couch in front of it. You play as the hubby. You have opinions. You express those opinions. Your wife does not care. I said "No" more times in this game than i did during a timeshare presentation, and with about the same level of effect. Wifey has apparently never encountered the word before. She hears it, processes it, files it somewhere under "irrelevant", and then does exactly what she was going to do anyway. I tried to stop her. Multiple times. I clicked "No" with the conviction of a man who has rights in this relationship, damnit. And every single time, the game looked at my choice, shrugged, and went "yeah but what if... she did it anyway?" Buddy. Pal. That's not a choice. That s a cutscene with extra steps. Remember -- the developer said the game is about "how far the couple is willing to push their boundaries." The couple. Both of them. As in, presumably, there is some mutual discussion happening. Some willingness on both sides. A conversation, perhaps. A basic acknowledgment that two people exist in this marriage. The game forgot the second person. Then comes The Club Scene. Oh, The Club Scene. This one deserves its own paragraph, its own moment of silence, and possibly its own therapist. The game gives you the option to tell your wife to leave the club. You tell her to leave the club. Very clear instruction. Very reasonable request. She is your wife. And what does she do? She stays in the club. Not only does she stay -- she gets groped by some shady stranger in the corner like this is a completely normal Tuesday evening. And the game presents this as a branching path. A BRANCHING PATH! I made a choice! The branch was: she does it anyway! That s not a branch, that s a straight line with a decorative fork glued to it for aesthetic purposes! Now, the dev mentioned that this game is about "exploration of fantasies". I have explored the fantasy of my wife listening to me. It was not available in this update. Perhaps it s one of the five paths. Perhaps there will be a poll. Now let s discuss the cuck point system , because oh boy, this one is a philosophical masterpiece of backwards logic. You d think -- and follow me here, because this seems incredibly reasonable -- that the LESS cuck points you have, the MORE your wife would be committed to the marriage. Like a normal human reward system. Less of the bad thing = more of the good thing. Basic stuff. Kindergarten game design. NOPE! The less inclined toward that lifestyle you play, the MORE your wife fantasizes about other men. I was actively trying to save my marriage and the game was essentially punishing me for it, by making my wife increasingly interested in literally everyone except me. The developer said this game explores "how far the couple is willing to push their boundaries". I was not willing to push them at all. The game pushed them anyway. On my behalf. Without asking. The boundary has left the building, sir. The boundary is in a club somewhere getting groped by a stranger. I need a minute. ... Okay. I m back. And THEN. AND THEN. We arrive at the final scene of this update. The grand finale. The culmination of all your choices, your "No"s, your desperate attempts to steer this ship back toward something resembling a loving marriage. Two choices. Just two. After everything. After all the "No"s that meant nothing. After the club. After the groping. After the point system that punished you for caring too much. The game looks you in the eyes and says: here are your options, champ. Option One: You re fine with your wife sleeping with other men. And once you pick this -- and i cannot stress this enough -- it is OVER. The developer, bless his heart, throws in a few more choices along the way. Little breadcrumbs of fake agency. Little "are you sure?" moments to make you feel involved. They do nothing. Absolutely nothing. She will do everything, with everyone, and you will sit there selecting the men yourself like some kind of cursed wedding planner for your own marital destruction. No skipping. No opting out. Full send. No exit. No refund. No mercy. Option Two: Love Path. The game ends. Just... ends. I laughed. One of those hollow, slightly unhinged laughs that a man does when he has been defeated so completely that amusement is the only appropriate response. The "Vanilla Path" -- and i remind you, the developer mentioned it was available TWICE -- terminates. Like a Wi-Fi connection. Like a dream you wake up from right before the good part. The developer said he s planning five paths. Five! And he s running polls to decide which one to develop next! Democracy! The people have spoken! The Love Path voters, apparently, elected to end the game. Congratulations to them. There is no middle ground here. No nuanced route. No "we had a real conversation and worked through our issues like two grown adults." It s either full NTR/NTS with zero player input and mandatory man-selecting duties -- or the story is over and you can go touch grass. The house is either completely on fire, or it simply doesn't exist. The developer is not interested in anything in between. And look -- he was upfront. He said the NTR/NTS category is where this game "firmly sits". Firmly! It s not visiting. It s not passing through. It has signed a lease. It has hung curtains. The vanilla path is the pullout couch in the corner that nobody is really using. And here s where the comedian puts the microphone down for a second. Gets a little quiet. Gets a little honest. Because underneath all of this chaos -- there s actually something here. The writing has genuine moments of emotional weight. The concept of a couple navigating desire, boundaries, and trust could be fascinating if handled with actual care and real player input. The foundation exists. The potential the developer mentioned? It s real. But right now, in v0.10, the "Vanilla Path " is available in the same way that the last slice of pizza at a party is "available" -- technically true, but somehow you always end up watching someone else eat it. The developer asked his subscribers which path to develop next. I d humbly suggest: the one where "No" means No. Three stars. Because it made me feel something -- mostly frustration, occasionally betrayal, and once, during the club scene, a very specific kind of tired that i haven t felt since i assembled IKEA furniture alone at midnight... The game firmly sits in the NTR/NTS category. The player, meanwhile, firmly sits in his chair wondering what any of his choices were actually for. We are both very firm about our positions. Nothing is moving. Especially not toward the exit of that club. Five paths, though. Five. I ll be watching those polls with great personal interest.
