About Rikugun Shikan Gakkõ
Rikugun Shikan Gakkõ is a Ren'Py visual novel made by Hattori Hanzõ Novels Studio. It is set long after the anime GATE, where a portal to a medieval fantasy world brought modern military forces into contact with its inhabitants. In this later era, elves and humans have mixed so thoroughly that the two peoples are no longer separate races. You follow the protagonist as he seeks entry to the Imperial Military Academy. The visuals are animated computer graphics, and the story blends humor, parody, and romance.
The current build is an Intro Demo, not a finished release. It was released on September 26, 2023 for Windows and Linux, with English text and no censorship. The changelog lists an Initial Release, so the demo presents the opening material rather than a completed story.
