Roots of Home is an adult game by NaughtyBite, built in Ren'Py and presented in a 2DCG style. You play a male protagonist following a hard relocation to a new house, starting over while uncovering hidden truths, complex relationships, and deep emotions. The story introduces intriguing characters, each carrying private secrets, wants, and motives, and the sandbox framing gives the experience an exploratory structure.
The latest build is v0.1.0, released on February 24, 2025. It is a demo and initial release for Windows, Linux, and Mac, with English text and no censorship. This version adds story continuation, new characters Diana, Martha, and Max, plus phone and map features. It also reworks Anna’s appearance, updates the opening naming system, improves the UI, and revises AI-generated rooms. The affection system has been removed.
