As I write these lines I have yet to finish the game and barely started chapter 3. The artworks are great. I'm not into urination but it's quite easy to overlook The soundtrack isn't particularly awesome, but it exists and that alone is way better than other adult games The combat system feels like it doesn't exist : you have options but they don't really matter you can win every fight without any kind of strategy (until where I'm at) The story is good. It isn't incredible but it subverts your expectations and has some shock value Maybe the sex stats progress in a way that's a bit wonky but it's fine All in all it is extremely good

I never thought I would ever comment on a game on this site, nor did I ever intend to. But this game deserves it in my opinion. It has been what feels like forever since I had so much fun playing a game which managed to pull me in. Spoiler warnings from here on out. At first I thought it would be a light hearted fun game and enjoyed it, but not too much. When I reached the first ending though all of that changed. The brutal moment at the end of the fight against Balless in Chapter one left me with my mouth wide open in shock. And from there the game had me and got better and better. I loved how it told the whole story, I was interested to see how the characters tried to change the outcomes and was in awe about the story of all the important characters. Not only that but I found myself enjoying the combat system. The visuals and the soundstrack....Oh my god the soundtrack. I will stop now, because else I feel like I will just gush around forever of how much I love this game. Lil last side note, I didn't mind the nsfw content, but at the same time it felt a little bit out of place? I would have been fine with "just" ecchi stuff, but that's just my personal opinion.

Honestly peak game. I think the combat could be a little more difficult and it's a shame because they came up with a fun system. The comedy lands, the serious aspects of the plot lands, the h-scenes land. Great cast of characters. PLAY THIS GAME

This game is so goofy and I mean that in the most positive way possible. The plot has some of the craziest twists and has you go through so many things you wouldn't expect from an eroge. The town is full of funny people, so funny you'd have to zip up your pants mid game and laugh at the absurdity of the situations going on. Peak samurai game.

Not much needed to be said, really. Have a working story, an unique combat mechanic, a rich clothing system, and plenty of scenes. I only have two minor gripe: NPCs don't react differently to what Sakura puts on but it doesn't warrant me taking one star away. Also thanks to how this game works you can get all scenes and all endings in one sitting. Mine was roughly 6 to 7 hours. P/s: For anyone wondering if this one is lesbian leaning or nah, the only serious lesbian attraction in this game is one-sided love (mutual in ONLY ONE bad Non-final endings, and that featured Spoiler: uhh both girls being fucked and impregnated by monster ). Every girls get much more penile objects than girl-on-girl actions. Whether this makes it or breaks it for you, just wants to let you know beforehand.

Gave the benefit of doubt and played this until the first boss (about an hour or so) and didn't cut for me. Was about to leave that comment here and bin the game off until i saw the ratings. So I decided to play a bit more to see what's the hype about this game. Continued until the end of the first chapter and still didn't cut (no pun intended). The game felt off right from the start and greets you with a micturition scene (and there's more of that..). Big turn off personally and i'm surprised because from memory i enjoyed 'The Monstrous Horror Show'

This is a weird 3/5 I'm giving. As a simple, story-driven RPG it's great. As an erotic game, it has good production value but neither interesting context around the H nor the mechanical integration, which to me makes it a rather bad game for eroticism even though the game was enjoyable as a whole. There are many scenes but if you play the game normally, without trying to get defeated or going out of your way to unlock scenes, the sex you get to see is not just tame and uninteresting but also played for laughs, almost. If you do go out of your way and collect the optional scenes, there's some enjoyable stuff there I guess but if you're like me and need your character to have a proper tie-in to the narrative for the sex, you'll probably be disappointed. Like, ffs getting the money you need in this game is easier if you don't waste time with the jobs, which makes even the most basic excuse of money trouble very hard to justify, resulting in the scenes feeling shoehorned-in, and at that point, it got me thinking why I even bother with the sex in this game when in practice, the stark divide between the core of the game and the H elements is no different than switching to a porn game while you were playing a normal game. So, the game feels like the dev pulling their punches on both ends--H and non-H--and worse, I felt the same with the story, too: by the end of the first chapter, about an hour in, the game takes a surprisingly dark turn... only for a few moments. I was excited the subsequent chapters, subsequent time loops, would get darker and darker but no, 90% of each chapter/loop retains the light-hearted tone of the intro and because the result gets better with each loop, the darker tone at the end of Chapter 1 is never met again, which makes me feel the dev didn't commit to the great foundational ideas that made the Chapter 1 twist good. What we have in the end is a game that constantly holds itself back, resulting in an experience that is always good but still feels worse than expected. Anyway, thanks for reading all this yapping I guess lol.

One of the best games I've played on this site. Often, H games end up losing their way by trying to offer too many different situations, which leads to sloppy gameplay or characters. Here, it's clearly the opposite. One of the game's greatest strengths, in my opinion, is the writing of the story and characters. Even without the H elements, I would have enjoyed discovering their story, their interactions, etc. The story is divided into several chapters, and the game's authors have made some interesting choices in terms of storytelling. You become genuinely interested in the characters and want to know more about them and where the story will take them. In terms of gameplay, it consists of a city phase with many elements to unlock, an exploration phase in the form of a path, and a combat phase against monsters or bosses. The game isn't too grindy but offers enough content on that side to make you want to move forward and unlock new weapons, new costumes, etc. As for the H elements, they are accessible enough not to be restrictive, are very well animated, and the illustrations are truly sublime. There are lots of scenes, including different costumes and characters, which is really great. A truly excellent game, I recommend everyone play it. 10/10.

one of the few games that made me let go of my dihh to get invested in the story. amazing h content, beautifully designed characters with plenty of outfits (for mc) to wear and every single one of them has a unique h scene. focuses more on having a variety of fetishes than only on one but tentacle seems to be the main. very time friendly combat loop, you only need to kill a few to get an insta kill, then a few more to get auto clear its goated.

Sakura Gozen is a unique game: excellent graphics, original combat style, interesting setting, but nothing that really sets it apart from the rest. But then, the first chapter ends. And that's when I realized I was looking at a masterpiece. I could go on and on about the plot and characters, but I won't: this erotic game deserves to be experienced, so I'll let you discover it for yourself. Don't worry: gameplay, story, erotic scenes: nothing will disappoint you.

Neither But after finish every ending in the game, I still don't know why I give this 5 stars But if you wonder should you play it or not, give it a try at least finish chapter 1. Taking straight from my trello review Although I’ve finished this game a while ago, I still remember the twist that happened at the end of chapter 1 changing my view on this game completely, from then on I knew I was in for a ride. The story delivered, I loved it, its funny and light hearted most of the time but serious when needed, especially during the main story beats. The game art is amazing, I still can’t get over how cool some of the fighting sprites are, the lack of actual erotic CG kinda bumps me out but hey, the art is still pretty sick tho. Usually I turn based gameplay kinda turns me off, but honestly, this game handling of the turn based system through time prompts, weapon attributes and combos were pretty damn fun, I dig it.

It's a great experience, pretty good story, great artwork and good music Main emphasis is on art, all CGs looks good and pretty rewarding, Sakura herself is realy hot in looks and in terms of personality but i have a thing for big boobs so i have a natural gravition towards her.
