About Scent of Liberty
Scent of Liberty is a Ren'Py visual novel by Unchaste Acts with 3D CG artwork. You play Laura Palamino, a clinical psychologist, mother, wife, and community member, as she handles domestic and professional pressures, meets clients and loved ones, and navigates temptation, marital strain, and taboo passion, with themes of cheating, corruption, and romance. The story also follows Victor Suspirio, son of an Estonian magnate, who quickly gathers a team to stop a spreading disaster, while citizens of Valley grow more uninhibited under a looming threat.
The current build is v0.3, released December 9, 2023, and the game remains in development. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, without censorship. Update 0.3 adds Day 3 morning and night scenes from Marcus, Laura, Sati, and Greg points of view, bringing the game to roughly three hours of storytelling.

In SOL, you will shape the story of Laura Palamino (clinical psychologist, mother and wife, and active member of her community), as she faces her domestic and professional trials. Meet her clients and loved ones, and help them through their frustrations and intimate episodes. Guide Laura as she slowly gets lured by temptation and disillusioned by marital strife. Will her discipline and dignity be strong enough, or will passion and taboo win her heart in the end? You get to decide that. Spoiler Find out why Victor Suspirio, son of opportunist Estonian magnate, got together a team of brilliant minds in such a rush. What disaster is he trying to stop from spreading? Assist them, their acquaintances, and by extension all other citizens of Valley, as they inexplicably become more loose and uninhibited. Find out what looming force threatens them, and decide if it's best to leave it untouched, or work towards stopping it for good.
