Various general optimizations
0.2B
General
The early access version 0.2 contained 2 minor bugs:
Bug #1: If you pressed ENTER on the supporter program screen, new game would be started. This was a code typo, fixed now. (Also added copy-paste support to the supporter program input field.)
Bug #2: This bug is quite rare and I doubt anyone encountered it. If you skipped Ruby's tutorial fight, and went straight to Erika's office, the game would crash due to a missing variable. Fixed.
STATS button on the AuraLink heads up display is now labeled MAIN
Statistics screen now contains Main Menu button next to the Exit button, for android support. This is not an optimal solution and I'm looking into better ways to access main menu on android.
General changes to make the UI work on Android
This is an ongoing process and the UI will be further optimized based on the feedback

V 0.1
Initial Release
I played this game and honestly had no idea it was in Renpy the majority of the times; it's very well made with such an amazing story and each of the characters are great, you actually feel like you are in this world of futuristic craziness, and it is amazing.
I played v0.4B. This game shows a lot of promise, but seems to have stalled. The art and story are decent, as is the gameplay. I wish the dev well, because I'm hoping to play more of this eventually.
Nice concept and game play, will like to see the progression. Feels extremely early into the game (a ch1 -2 out of many). Feel the need to say it needs a few more weapons both lethal and nonlethal, and both firearm and melee. But as an early taste, it has whet the appetite.
game is really good, the ui is really good, models are great, style is good, consistent and thematic game world is cool, story is interesting and made me invested, thread banner should probably be sexier to do the game justice
Overview (v 0.4B) This game has some serious potential, given it's attention to detail in UI, character creation (both visually and design wise), world building, and plot. It's seriously shaping up to be something great, but it's still early in it's development so there's no conclusion on any plot line or character. I think the biggest point I'm mulling over is the "Command" ability, and how much impact/influence it gives the main character, as well as how much it's intended to be used. Currently most of the H scenes are solely through that, which essentially corrupts and enslaves them, which may be the intention, but I'm not sure if there are plans to make a more consensual route as well to balance it. It just felt a bit off to have a person you have a prior friendly relationship with, and you can just enslave them and the MC doesn't seem to care that the person is now a shadow of their former self. Just makes me wonder about the direction of the game, or if this is done just to get some early H scenes in. I think it'd be more interesting if there was some threshold for the corruption, so that it doesn't leave lasting changes on them until a certain amount of uses, or making the lasting changes needs to be purposeful. Pros Tons of potential, in every field. This game really feels like the vision of someone who has a story to tell Very immersive. The UI, characters, and world setting are all consistent with it's cyberpunk theme. The game seems very detail oriented, and I look forward to the main story progressing Great character visuals. The renders look very good and characters are visually unique and different from each other I like there's a combat system that feels like there's some love behind it, instead of there just to have the game drag on Game size isn't in the Gigabyte range, despite the nice renders, some animations, and custom UIs. Sits at about 750 MB right now, which is pretty good Cons Some pacing issues with events only occurring on Friday or the weekend. May be solved in future with more content, but given how much there is now there was a lot of waiting doing nothing Some more guidance in the beginning would be helpful, since I spent some time looking how to progress the main plot before I found the few key things to do A bit unsure how they game will progress with the Command ability, with regards to the sexy characters. Will it be the main crux for H scenes in the game, a tool to use during the game (like during Mariko's story), or simply one of the paths you can choose for the girls (love/seduction vs corruption) Info Interesting characters, but there aren't very many and it's still too early on to say for sure You get the Command ability a day after sandbox opens, which felt weird, since that day was just me confusingly wandering around Progression is weird with characters given the Command ability. I'm unsure if this is supposed to be mind control focused or not, since one example we have starts as a consensual relationship then turns into an enslavement relationship
Review for v0.3B What got me right away with Seriel:Code is the visuals. For a Koikatsu game, it's impressively different. It's nailing that Cyberpunk aesthetic very well. Music and sound only adding to it. The game has a nice vibe going. Character models are the same deal for the most part, they feel almost fresh. Though maybe that's an easier thing to say when most Koikatsu games' love interests are school girls. Animations seem to be Koikatsu standard which I'm neutral on. Will never be as great as custom animations, but I personally don't mind it that much. I neglected to read the overview, so I was surprised when I got dropped into a sandbox. I think this part is a little hard to talk about given how new the game is. There are RPG systems in place, but everything is a little barebones. Hopefully solved with time. I will say I think it drops you into it way too early. A couple more events should have played out before it just says "hey you're in a sandbox now good luck." The moments after getting the weird mind control shard would probably be a good spot. The one thing I feel the game is lacking on right now is character. This dystopian metropolis setting is established, but the world feels very empty. Almost lifeless even. I'm hoping it's another thing solved with time. Similarly, none of the characters have really left a strong impression on me, MC included. The last aspect to talk about is the mind control powers we receive. This is a red flag to me. Mostly due to personal preference, but I hate when we get mind control powers only to turn love interests into brainless sex robots. Not my thing. For curiosities sake, I used it when available to see how far you can take things with it. You can get to full blown sex very easily with a character who I thought would be a bit more important for lack of better words. If that's something you like then cool, but I do hope the game gives you the option to build up relationships with characters instead of relying on mind control for everything. That could make or break it for me. Overall, I'm cautiously optimistic. It's very easy to see that this has more work going into it than the average. Here's hoping it develops into something great.
This game is beautiful, and thought I'd give it a proper review. For starters, you get to choose between 3 classes, and regardless, the MC is not your run-of-the-mill pussboots. The interface and UI for fights are great, game runs smoothly and the graphics are pretty good quality. For a v0.3, the content is alright, but could be more. Music is beautiful and girls are unique, not your regular porn dolls with no personality. As of now, the dystopian city allows for a lot of expansion in terms of story, but I haven't seen the routes take shape yet in terms of choice consequence. Hopefully, we get to have the MC go down an evil path than just a strictly VN based linear storyline. Underrated, should garner much more attention for what it's worth.
Very interesting premise so far. Great characters and renders, I was also very surprised by the amount of detail put into the story and setting. Alot of content for being an early version. This game's future is looking very promising.
Pretty good game so far. Excellent UI and graphics, plot and characters being built up are decent so far (though it's a bit early to tell how it will develop), minigames aren't annoying or timeconsuming, and it has a fair bit of content for a 0.2, even though most of it is non NSFW. Shows a lot of promise and I'm looking forwards to seeing what's next.
