Judging by the comments, some people seem to have been disappointed with the first chapter because they didn't get a deep visual novel out of it. I didn't share that disappointment at all. Anyone who actually bothered to look at the game's tags wouldn't be disappointed either. There's no "Visual Novel" tag there. On top of that, in the chapter descriptions, the dev clearly explains that the goal of the first chapter is to showcase lab management and introduce the main characters. Their personal stories, as well as the broader plot, are reserved for later chapters, which are still in development. So yeah - the first chapter is about management, not storytelling. The dev was very upfront about that. Which makes me wonder why people still leave comments like (and I'm quoting): "blah blah blah... in my opinion this was supposed to be a visual novel, but... blah blah blah," when there's no VN tag, it's not presented as a VN, and expecting deep storytelling here is about as logical as looking for Tamagotchi mechanics in Tetris. So what is in the game? Exactly what the dev described: the first chapter introduces the main characters whose stories will be expanded later, and helps the protagonist build a device for synthesizing essence of sexuality. In other words, it's mainly a management-focused chapter, with early hints of future storylines showing up in the background. And honestly, it does that job pretty well. The core gameplay loop is centered around your work in the lab. It's simple and well-structured: 1. you synthesize substances 2. repair equipment when it breaks during the process 3. test substances on girls (altering their bodies) 4. have sex with them to evaluate the effects 5. upgrade your equipment based on the results 6. meet and interact with the main characters and their relationships 7. trigger story events that will be expanded in later chapters Outside the lab, gameplay looks like this: 1. you move between city locations 2. improve the MC's stats (strength, charisma) 3. meet and seduce girls in different areas 4. spend time with them to increase loyalty 5. have sex with them to raise lust My ratings: Lab gameplay: 5/5 Everything is intuitive and straightforward. Clean UI, lots of events, solid progression system. It all feels logical and well-paced. City gameplay: 3/5 Feels like a pretty standard open-world loop. Pros: lots of girls and some fun date scenes. Cons: seduction gets repetitive very quickly. Porn content: 5/5 This isn't one of those games that teases you for half the story with upskirt shots and soft hints. If you came for porn, you get porn. A lot of it. Heavy stuff too - anal, deepthroat, and so on. For me that's a plus. For others it might not be. If you're into softcore, this probably isn't your game. Story: present Even though the first chapter isn't a VN, there is a story. Not a lot of it, but exactly what the dev promised - arguably even more than in some other management games. Most of it is clearly set-up for future chapters, which is constantly reinforced at the end of events. You get things like internal conflicts, discovered notes, emergency evacuations, unplanned subject mutations, and so on. Grind: tolerable As someone else put it: "the grind is broken by frequent events making it quite bearable." And yeah, that's accurate. Plus, other reviews already explain ways to make it less noticeable, so I won't dwell on it. Overall, I'd describe this chapter as a large prologue to a bigger story, not a standalone narrative. Is it worth playing? Yes. Just go in understanding that this is more of an introduction chapter. According to the dev, the main story will unfold in the later chapters, which are still in development.

Nah this ain't it chief, I'm sorry. The only thing that deserves more than one star here it's the UI but everything else unfortunately hasn't been thought enough. The main loop is a daily life where you go to work, advance quests in your workplace (mostly) and then go back home so you can eat sleep and repeat. At work, the main goal is to grind a substance that you'll have to test on some volunteering women, five times each, five different stages. First stage is turning her into being phisically more attractive, the second stage is to make her more sensitive and so on, you get the idea. Of course with every successful step you celebrate by fucking the shit out of her, and that's where the game is dead already: the sexual interaction are already filthy to the max, there is no escalation between the first stage and the final stage. First step of the interaction? Fuck her hard, treat her like a slut without even caring if she likes it or not. Last interaction of the quest? Exactly the same, just with different videos and maybe different words, but all in the same taste. And you better enjoy it, cause you won't be able to interact with her that way anymore once the quest is complete. In my opinion, it should have been a VN, there's nothing here that justifies some sort of "gameplay". But again, the UI it's clear and easy to follow, a pleasure really.

IMPORTANT: At first, I thought the game had way too much grind, but following the tips from the previous review, it actually ran smoothly and the grind basically disappeared. PROS: Honestly, compared to all the crap that gets shoved out by half-assed devs on this site, SexMachine really stands out. The story was interesting. The characters actually have personalities. I think the idea of emotional character portraits is pretty unique - I'm talking about those photos showing their emotions. I was also pleasantly surprised by the concept of girls mutating during essence tests on their bodies. Everything you do eventually leads to sex. Lots of it. Really, a ton of porn. That’s a huge plus. CONS: I wish the storylines of the girls you can seduce around the city were more developed. I get that they're mostly added as side content to the main story, but I wanted more of their personal stories - so that's the only thing I'd mark down.

I’m writing this because I’m honestly sick of skipping solid games thanks to clueless reviews like the one below. I started downloading the game. Then I read that negative review and canceled it. After that I checked the positive ones, decided to take the risk anyway - and I’m glad I did. The game is actually good. Let that sink in: because of that review, I downloaded this game twice. So yeah, I absolutely have the right to say a few things to the author of that nonsense. Why are you even choosing an open-world Twine game and then whining that the main character has to eat and shower every day? Daily routine is a core mechanic of this genre. That’s like buying a racing game and complaining there are cars. It honestly feels like you played for three minutes. Even a quick look shows you can basically skip most of the daily grind: You don’t have to eat at all - you get enough energy every morning, and you can just use energy drinks whenever you need a boost. You don’t have to shower constantly - just buy quick hygiene items and use them when necessary. Need more essence? Keep up with repairs and run tests on cheaper girls to get quick equipment upgrades Need more cash? There’s a black market. Don’t waste time on the gym or acting classes blindly - first figure out what the girls actually want from the MC. And seriously: Don’t like hard bosses? Don’t play Souls-likes. Hate base building? Don’t play RTS games. Can’t handle daily-life mechanics? Don’t pick open-world Twine games where that’s literally the standard design. But most importantly: If you spent three minutes in the game and didn’t bother to understand how the mechanics work, don’t try to convince other people that the game isn’t worth their time. Because thanks to your useless review, someone might skip a game they’d actually enjoy - like I almost did. My takeaway: the game is worth checking out. It has clear potential, and as far as I can tell, this is the developer’s first project. You can already see he’s trying to build something solid. Dev - keep going. Don’t give up.

Really don't get the high scores for this but hey ho. Its one of those games where you have to do 3000 things a day. Showering eating, shopping for food and toiletries etc etc etc etc etc etc. Mind-numbing. Just getting through a day is such a huge time sink. General progress is so painfully slow. UI is clean, looks ok, but barely functional for the amount you have to travel around. Now if the porn was decent and the flow was good you could ignore all the shortcomings, but it's not great, doesn't flow well and the writing for the porn scenes is frankly just bad. As many open world game it's just a huge time sink with sporadic content, poorly managed, with a half decent story. Unless you have a lot of time on your hands, don't bother.

Enjoyable game, Vids are short (9 to 10s) but scenes chain well together. It won't take you long to notice developer has a very pronouced taste for anal and face fucking. (not complaining just mentioning). that and massive silicon tits. Mechanicaly sound nothing bothersome ( just don t forget to buy food and soap). I might of missed some lines on the side effects of the essence but boy, everyone is out to jump your bones, everyone seems to be terribly horny at that company . the grind is broken by frequent events making it quite bearable. if you enjoy games like sluttown usa, or just one more chance you'll probably enjoy this one (lacks the corruption/ progressive aspect everyone is a raging nympho) Played an other hour. keeping the 4 stars rating but : MC is a Douche of epic proportions. And i didn't think i say that but those nymphos flinging themselves at me make me uncomfortable it doesn't feel like you owned your sex scene just: "oh you're remotly fuckable, please wreck my ass and make me gag."

The game looks really good, especially for an HTML/Twine game. The use of images and videos is top-notch. Visually, the game looks good enough. I don't see the usual flaws that most Twine games have, like the plain black background with white text. Instead, every page has a nice background and visuals. There's a lot of porn scenes, which is exactly what you'd expect in a porn game. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more variety in the videos though, and I hope that gets added in future updates. As for the story, I find it intriguing. There's a good mix of humor and mystery. From the chapter descriptions, it seems like the developer has planned out the story for multiple seasons, which definitely piques my interest. The only real issue for me is that the dev is working on both seasons of the game at the same time. I think it would be better to focus on finishing the first season before moving on to the second. But that's more of a suggestion than a problem. Keep up the good work, Dev. I'm giving you 5 stars!

As has been said, very reminiscent of the company (sinister organization hellbent on sexual dominance) but with paywalled girls and wayyyy more grind. I was intrigued but this game is too slow of a burn for my tastes. Sleeping each night should refill your energy, you shouldn't need to eat to do so. Unless this guy uses a cup of shower gel each time he showers, shower kit should last weeks, not a couple of days.

Pretty solid start. You have a gameplay loop wich remembers me a little of the company. ( not so advanced though ) And some decent Modells and Scenes. My advice would be to reduce the grind just a little and add a little more personal characters. ( landlady and stuff ) As it is rn you can have some fun but no long term motivation wich is the reason its 4 not 5 stars

The game has at least a relitivly fleshed out gameplay loop, you grind sex juice. Give it to test subject. Get a sex scene, made up of porn vids. With very little in the way to make this game actually "Pop!" That's really it. The writing is poor to point where considering the name of the games maker I am wondering if it just AI generated. There's about a hundred games that do this sort of gameplay loob, and most do it better. I hope in a few month's I'll change this review and they'll be something that will actually make this game stand out and be worth playing, till then though its just bland.
