About Shackles of Desire
This top-down pixel action RPG from BootyByteStudio is called Shackles of Desire. It uses the Others engine and animated 2D art. You play a fallen defender killed while protecting a hometown from a corrupt, expanding Empire. Between life and afterlife, a powerful being grants a second chance by making you its Apostle, bound by desire and vengeance and sent to spread its influence across a ruined world. The story mixes fantasy, combat, and RPG progression as you reclaim what was taken through battles and adult content.
The current build is Combat-Demo v0.1, released on June 11, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows in English and is uncensored. The latest update gave the arena a visual overhaul, added combat sound effects, and introduced a load/save system plus rewards for arena play. It also fixed entity collision overlap and stopped skills from being used infinitely.
