Shadows of Desire

I've played it and thought: "hmm, the game looks pretty average, and only the visuals are exceptionally good". And then I decided to continue with the original game..... You can't even begin to understand how disappointed I got, when I tasted the original work. It feels even worse than playing an RPGM game. It doesn't matter, that the game would only win, if there was no Fred's perspective, but: I have to give credits where they are due. This "unofficial Renpy Port" is the best that has ever happened to Shadows of Desire, and I really wish for Shmantr to take a couple of lessons from Doshima. Thank you for your great work

Absolutely no clue why this game is rated so highly. I'm not terribly into interracial stuff, but NTR is nice, so I decided to give it a try - and it was not worth my time. Every other scene seems to introduce a new character who serves no real purpose to the plot of MC's girlfriend getting stolen from him by the antagonist. It is a chore to sift through the half-broken English dialogue that follows a train of thought completely alien to any living human. A particularly egregious example of this occurs rather early in the game: MC gets paid after going to work, then decides to head to a random woman's van where she sells junk out of her car. Or maybe her name was Van? I can't remember exactly. Anyway, MC buys a random key for 5 bucks, which the van lady says "opens a locked box in front of the school". Okay. What? MC accepts this instantly, then goes home and when he gets to school the next day, unlocks said box with the key he bought and finds a bunny outfit inside. There is an extent to which I will accept the ridiculousness of a porn setting. Examples like this are constant, where the author's "logic" is so ridiculous that it tears me out of any immersion. Besides the frankly shit writing, the animations are horrid as well. The Honey Select-style renders always bother me, but I decided to overlook it due to the rating. Mistake. It's always these types of games where I check the ratings and they praise the game immensely for the writing or personality of the characters (none of them are unique), and so I keep expecting as I read along to get to the good part. But it never comes. I reach the end of the content just as dissatisfied & flaccid as I was when I started. However, if you like pointless, broken English dialogue paired with the most annoying porn logic you have ever seen, play this game! If you are anything like me, trust your gut when you see these types of games. If something feels off, it probably is.

I played this expecting the typical interracial level quality of content, but god Cami is so hot and there's so much content and variation in scenes. Yes, the animations suck, but other than that, this is a joy to have as an interracial fan.

This is the same opinion I have of the game in rpgmaker, ctrl+c ctrl+v, The game is graphically fantastic, its setting and the expressions of its characters are 10/10, I understand that it is one of the author's first games and I personally think that it has a very high level, and it is unfair that they give it Bad marks just for being an ntr game, in the first game I do feel that Camila's personality is very different but it is positive since this version is a little more realistic, and in the other game she needed to be more flirtatious since it was a shorter game and a version alternative.

Hope to see more from this! Though I don't want to compare (and the original game is a good game on its own), however this unofficial port could have made the game more enjoyable, since the original game is quite simple already (and turn it into a VN will make it more accessible since complex RPG mechanism aren't required).

Amazing job ! It is an incredible port for those like me who cannot play the other routes of the game just because the gameplay of the game is so grindy and boring thanks for rpgm engine. I'm definitely looking forward to the future updates

Congratulations to the developers, the mix between COFFEE and MILK in this game is perfect and the girlfriend is beautiful and very naughty, I'll love seeing her adventures throughout the game. Thank you for putting the Renpay engine in good luck.

At 14/04/2024 This game has some poor writting and a bad scene generator with no backgrounds but it is not all bad it seems like the dev is thnking this game with certain things planned that may take time to develop, a lot of routes, paths or choices that hasn t been implemented yet but at least you see he is cooking the girls are hot and that's very important, the story develops very "fast" but i don t know if that will change, this has a lot of potential and if you enjoy cheating / cuckolding / blackmail games, this is for you, as you can choice which one be, you are not forced to see the mc lover get stolen, you are also the bull

To be honest, the game gave me goosebumps, it’s not so often that you come across an erotic game with a plot that gives you goosebumps, I really like it, the renpy version is brilliant, if only they could come up with gameplay and not just a novella
