Shelly's Future Past

Lets start with the positives. Uhhhh it looks nice and has a decent premise. Now lets get to the meat of the problem......there is nothing to keep you interested except for more lesbian shenanigans every new episode. Whats worse is as you'd expect from a lesbian focused game its all pretty one note. You'd have to allow some of the most porntastic logic for some of this to pass the smell test, but it still comes out a little sour smelling. It also takes an alright premise and finds ways for the writing to get more and more tedious the longer it goes on. It went from okay to jesus this is being written chapter to chapter isnt it? If the weird author self insert (as if the dev looks anything like this) isnt weird enough, the ghostbusters 2016 writing where all the men are either dumb, assholes, or evil is just silly. All the characters have trauma and its all they talk about if not for excessive lore dumps. What's amazing is its all bare bones troupes and none of it adds to character development.

The more I advance in the game, the less interested and involved I get. I'm at part 4, and begining to skip most of the way too long dialogues that add nothing to the story. The introduction slide says it's mostly a comedic story. I'm beginning to believe the saying that tragedy=comedy+time mostly means it's tragic how a comedy that gets too long to make a joke is the real tragedy. Where is the comedy by the way? In the plenty of trauma dumpings or in the quirky way the MC reacts to everything? It's also the first time I get so confused about who is who and who is talking all the time, it doesn't help that everyone change appearance every two scenes. There is a plot, but the storytelling is all over the place, every scenes seem completely disconnected from each other, the worst offender being the halloween special. Sleeping>nightmare>aliens>weird door>suddenly outside>suddenly alien dogs>suddenly inside>suddenly aliens and zombies>then aliens again and a character is gone and then lore dump. Ouch, the lore dumps, be prepared for them, because you will get them, A LOT, that's 90% of the narration. There is almost no character development, you already know everything that is to be known even before encountering most of them. Some are even useless, you are introduced to them, never to be seen again, and I'm not talking about characters in the past, since it makes sense not seeing them again once back in the "future" present. Some scenes, that are way too long, are just here to illustrate something that has already been told countless times before. The cameos... the cameos, everywhere, all the time, nonstop, does it add anything to the story? Nope, none at all, but you will get them, to the point you ar eleft wondering if you are playing a game or watching an ad. (I'm begining to feel like I'm watching an ad, a very lenghty and boring one) The story takes forever to move on, ironically for the sake of "character development" that as I said is actually non existent. Yes, i got it, Triss's parents are trash and it makes it hard for her to come out to them, yes, I get it, Shelly's is traumatized by the loss of her parents, Yes, I get it, Sophie was in an abusive relationship and a closet bi. I don't need a dozen scenes depicting the same message to get the message through, make the story move on already. The renders are "fine" subpar for a DAZ game, and the models... are something, fish mouth everywhere, huge belly buttons that might hide a portal to hell and other weird anatomic choices. It's not a bad game, but I sure hope it begins to get interesting again at some point.

An excellent lesbian VN with an original graphic touch. It's constantly improving. This VN has it all: humor, beautiful women, originality inspired by Quantum Leap, for example, respect, irreverence, love, and wit... BRAVO! We want more. This VN is underrated for the moment on this site, at least, but it deserves huge encouragement and support. We'd really like to see more VNs of this ilk! It deserves a solid 5, but since it's not finished yet, I'm giving it a well-deserved 4!

One of my prefer games, i like the story and the MC and her friends. Time traveling is a interesting idea they can change the past and try to help other in the past. The artwork is got and the girls hot and sexy.

This is a great unique game Really, it have all aspects to be like that unique: 1st : Story and Story line are great. 2nd: Charachter Build and chrachter apperance. 3rd: dialouge respecting the story. 4th: render always getting better and better. thanks a lot to our brillient SS.

I really wanted to love this, with the limited good lesbian VN's out there, but this one sadly isn't for me, I'll get the negatives out of the way. While the visuals aren't terrible, there are certain times where the facial expressions just look cringey and awful. The story isn't much to write home about, either, despite having a good premise. While I can understand what's being said, the grammar needs work at times. And I could barely get past the beginning with the terrible 14-old style pet names like "sweet cheeks" and "sexy thing", like really? The few positives I found in this VN is the characters, I do find them interesting and despite a few occasions, attractive. While the story is lacking, there is promise with it, and maybe future updates or future projects will improve.

This game deserves a lot more love (and reviews) than it's getting I guess it being a lez only game is a deterrent for many F95ers, which is a shame really. But I can't dictate what you all love. The game starts out a bit hectic, it is clear the dev is trying to find her footing, but it gets excellent pretty quickly. The renders are getting better with every update, the story gets clearer with every update . Talking about updates, they are very fast and comprehensive, many longtime devs should take a lesson from @SexyShelly . It being a lez only game definitely is a strength for this story. The sex scenes are hot. And there's also a lot of love shared between the main characters. Even though Shelly (the MC) is a sucker for pretty girls, you never feel she's an asshole for sleeping with other women than her own gf. All in all a great lesbian SF time travel love story, highy recommended.

Rating based on Ep.3.1 Before playing, you have to be aware of what you can expect and get here. Anyone expecting a big, in-depth story and the highest quality graphics will probably be disappointed. BUT that's not the point here. This AVN is obviously the author's first work and she is trying her hand at DAZ and RenPy. She lets us as players participate in this. With each new release, you can see the developments and how the author is constantly improving in all areas. That alone makes me really happy to see. The story is quickly told, but I don't want to spoil anything here. It's funny on many levels because the game doesn't take itself seriously and there's a very clear focus on “having fun”. Nonetheless, there are also serious themes and I personally think these are implemented with the necessary seriousness. This game is suitable for all those who simply want to spend a carefree time with an AVN and much more for all those who, like me, enjoy following devs in their personal development. 5 stars because it never pretends to be more than it is and really deserves 5 stars in its field. Please be fair and support the dev with paying for the game if you can. Especially when you like the game.

Good looking lis , great visuals,great mc and lis ,also the time travel premise is unique for a lesbian visual novel , can't wait for things to unfold in future ,iam a fan of lesbian visual novels so this is a plus , can't wait for future updates, thanks sex Shelly and good luck in future updates ,will watch this game from now onwards

Great game! , alwas been a fan of time travel stuff and doing it in a vn has been done previously but not in fem protag in the angle of deja vu. The best thing I would say is you don't have to try to turn off your brain or forget the plot , you can play it both ways other than the LI stuff that's obviously needed to carry the story forward/ motivation of shelly. The only thing I could say in room for improvement would be animations inclusion and some insight on if there is chances of getting caught or exhibitionism events !
